This CVS is alright... located on Jackson & Nutmeg. I say it's only alright bc the selection of toys, candy, and seasonal items is not as good as Walgreens. Plus, the staff aren't as friendly as the ones at Walgreens. But I guess it's fine if you're looking to fill your script here or get some beer. I see a lot of people buying cases of beer here (must be decently priced). They also have a drive thru pharmacy for convenience. read more

To be clear, the store itself is alright, the employees always seemed to be bored and hating their job. Further, the ATM machine is out of service 75% of the time and the store staff say they have no control over it. They said the machine sends an internal signal "somewhere" when it is broke and then someone comes out to fix it. I waited 4 days the last time it was broke a couple weeks ago, and yesterday it was "out of service" again. Why don't you just have them remove the ATM machine? It's more aggravating having such an unpredictable ATM. read more

Restroom was filthy. Appeared to be rarely cleaned. Dirty floor. No soap. Disgusting.

First of all I saw some candy canes and it was the only box left. I asked for a discount and they refused. Tons of stuff of the shelves were opened and ratchet. The cashier stated they can't control it. Yes they can. Stealing should not be acceptable and that's why California is a mess because store owners let people destroy and steal stuff. I checked out other reviews on CVC Pharmacy. Personally, I've never had anyone be anything but very friendly and accommodating, and I've been there MANY times. They have a vast amount of goods to choose from. Even an assortment of grocery items and tons of candy. They have a whole array of makeup and of course all things needed for cuts and scapes or the flu. Whatever one might need for over the counter stuff. They even carry seasonal stuff, like for Halloween or Christmas or Easter. Or wine and beer if you want to celebrate nothing or everything., Plus, there's a pharmacy! Of course there is! And I've picked up many scripts there with no issues. So, I dunno, I'm giving them FIVE STARS, because, like I said, I've never had an issue. with them. read more

This is my go-to pharmacy. Ideally, I should not be going here at all! But, unfortunately, when I'm sick, this is where they send my get better meds. I've also stopped here on the off occasion when I need to buy a birthday card or Gatorade. This location is very random. It's right next to the neighborhood I grew up in which is a very residential location. It's nice and convenient to have where it's at, but the shopping center it's in is just sad. There used to be a Fresh & Easy, but it shut down and that's now a medical supply store - fits that it's next to CVS. The place is usually neat and organized. Surprisingly, this CVS gets pretty busy. I've walked in to where it's deserted and so quiet that you wonder where the employee working the register is at and have also been here when there's a long line because everyone's buying beer for the football game. Just sooo random. The employees here are usually very nice and are ready to help you if needed. The actual Pharmacy is its own little world. I hate having to pick up meds because for some reason it always takes so long! Perhaps it's just a normal pharmacy wait time, but I'm already cranky after waiting at the doctor's forever to be seen for 5 minutes - practically the same concept here... even when there isn't a line! And the drive through is hit or miss. I've sat there for 20 minutes, but also have experienced a quick 5 minute pick-up. The staff, however, are super sweet people that are just really nice. Maybe they're stuck with old, slow systems that bog them down? Who knows? Overall, 3 stars from me for just being alright. read more

Signed up for a COVID test a few weeks back because we're traveling to Hawaii in a few days and the test is required. Showed up for our schedule appointment and the lady in the drive thru said we signed up for the wrong test and we needed to cancel & resign up to pay a fee. We thought no problem, pulled out of the drive-thru and reviewed the test that we signed up for but everything looked fine. I call the pharmacy and they said we should have clicked the option on the site that said our test wasn't for travel purposes... I let the guy know it's for travel purposes. He said, "yeah, we'll I agree it's worded funny." Ok no problem, I then try to book a test (that says I'm not traveling, although I am) and they're booked out and I won't be able to take the test before my flight on Saturday. I called back to see if they can get us in since we already had an appointment and he says, "no." This is insane. read more

MANAGEMENT: is there a reason why this store is always short-staffed? We have been with this location since Stater closed and the service quality lacked the luster of satisfaction at the very least. Today, it's worst... We pulled in to find the Drive Thru packed 5 deep so we decided to walked inside. We learned the front store clerks are helping the pharmacy dept because there's only 1 personnel serving there. It took us 25 minutes to get our prescriptions inside. The front clerk expedited 1 of our 4 prescriptions, i eventually forgot because i was browsing through the aisles, checked out then left. When i got to my car, i received text that my prescription is ready. I decided to just use the drive-thru - by then, because there's only 1 car left waiting at the window. We pulled in the second lane, when we discovered the car before us had been waiting for 30 minutes and 3 other cars behind it backed out or left... the clerk advised us via intercom he is all alone in the pharmacy - just like the other car, we waited for another 30 minutes on top of the 25 minutes we spent inside the store. So what is happening? Your personnel looks overworked, strained, exhausted and your customers are mostly frustrated. How do you resolve these issues, because it looks like a big management problem to me. If this is not going to be fixed, you can expect your pharmacy customers transferring their business to your competitors who are very close by this branch. I am one of those considering to move my prescriptions somewhere else. Your response would be greatly appreciated. read more

Went to this CVS to get a couple snacks and when I got to the register I saw the cashier chatting with her coworker. She noticed me walking up to the register and had the look as if she was inconvenienced that she had to do her job and help me with my purchase. I ignored it and smiled to say hello, I didn't get a response back besides her asking if I had a phone number with CVS. After she finished scanning my items she put my printed receipt on one of my items and said there you go and walked away. Maybe she was having a bad day but it was rather unpleasant. Horrible drive through. Spent over an hour trying to get my meds because the people testing for Covid share the same line. The line splits at the end but be careful, its quite narrow and you will grind your rims on the curb. In addition, they told me my meds would be ready by the 4th and they still don't have them ready. No text, email, or phone call. I had a stroke and I need my medication. CVS pharmacy on Jackson is one big clown show. Also, watch out for the rude and condescending Pharmacy Tech. I understand that CoVid has taken its toll on the Pharmacy especially. The inside store staff is awesome. They have a new Pharmacist ( a guy I didn't get his name). He's super rude and will keep you waiting at the drive thru while doing various other things. I'm gathering that like me most people picking up prescriptions are not feeling their best. Nightmare of a pharmacy. They "lost" the directions for my script when sending it out to another pharmacy, conveniently. Expecting the secondary pharmacy to do their leg work and inform me. Not only has it been frustrating beyond belief, I haven't been able to get my prescriptions for 2 days due to their poor ethic. Emily (pharmacist) has not helped in the slightest and gives poor excuses of outdated technology for as to why they don't keep records. Oh, and the manager won't talk to you politely, approaching my call with a huff and annoyance stating "ok I can't tell you anything about that, it wouldn't matter if I did tell you because you can't do anything with the information". My Doctor wrote a prescription for me and contacted this Pharmacy. They filled the prescription and contacted me to pick it up, they even told me how much the prescription would cost. But when I arrived I was informed that They had no insurance information for me, and would not let me pay cash for my prescription since they changed their cash payment policy. They also no longer accept TRICARE or VA prescriptions, and only fill emergent care orders. I wish they would have informed my Dr. of this policy change when the order prescriptions was sent to them. No they chose to have a patient waste a whole day without proper medication just to have the Dr. rewrite a new prescription for Walgreens.This would have saved everyone a lot of time in the beginning. read more

CVS has gotten too big for their corporate britches. In this age of automation, they have completely failed the patient in so many ways. My daughter and I come to this location to pick up monthly refills for her birth control pills, which are prescribed due to severe irregularities in her menstrual cycle caused by elevated estrogen levels. Unfortunately, we are currently required to pick up refills monthly due to our insurer. A few months ago we were offered the option of an automated text to tell us when refills were ready, instead of us having to physically call and ask for a refill. Great! We loved the service, and it worked out because we knew the refill was ready when my daughter got down to her last few pills. That was, until this weekend. Having gotten used to the texts as our reminder that a refill is due, my daughter advised me that she was taking her last pill today. I looked at my texts and was surprised to see that I had received no refill notice. I called CVS and was advised that the prescription had EXPIRED, that they had notified our doctor's office on Wednesday and Thursday of this week that the prescription was expiring, but had received no response. There was nothing that could be done. WHY, IN THE NAME OF EFFICIENCY, WEREN'T WE NOTIFIED BY THAT SAME CONVENIENT TEXT, THAT OUR PRESCRIPTION WAS EXPIRING? WHY, IN THE NAME OF EFFICIENCY, DID THAT NOTICE GO OUT TWO DAYS BEFORE THE PRESCRIPTION EXPIRED???? The person I spoke with on the phone advised that I should have called the doctor's office. Really? I had no idea the prescription was even expiring. Our doctor, who will soon be one patient shorter, is unbelieveably bad at responding to prescription notices, we know from past experience (and that is a separate review). A normal practice would have extended the prescription as a courtesy and advised us it was time for an appointment. Not this office, but that's another story. Once we're established with a physician who doesn't let everyone slip through the cracks, we'll be switching to the MAIL ORDER PHARMACY our insurer pushes. For now, my daughter will suffer through unregulated hormones, WHICH SHE DOES NOT NEED AT THIS TIME IN HER LIFE AS A SENIOR IN HIGH SCHOOL. Way to go CVS - I'll be writing to corporate since they are oblivious to comments like this. TOO BIG. The patient is always the one who suffers in this. read more

Pros: - I could walk to this CVS - Staff is friendly - Not as crowded - Plenty of parking available - Traffic roads around the CVS are not busy - Drive thru pharmacy if you're lazy Cons: - Fresh and Easy failed to be completed next door - There's this part of the area that you have to drive on an awkward slope if you're entering/exiting from Jackson. On Nutmeg it's okay - The pharmacy closes at 6pm on the weekends I always go here for my meds, which is probably at least once or twice a week. I'm a regular... they're usually on point when filling my meds, mostly on the same day or the next day. The pharmacy staff is courteous, patient, and in a good mood. There are also other staff members willing to help you with anything you need or are trying to find. If you're nearby, pick up your meds, grab a snack and relax at the park just across the way. read more

This has been the worst pharmacy I have ever encountered!! In the 3 times I've used them not ONE TIME has the Rx been done by its promised time! I have a sick toddler and get told, "the pharmacist didn't put it in a bag so I can't give it to you, even though it was promised at 11." Mind you it's 12:50!!! I even gave them extra time!!!! Hope I can give them a zero. Got into the drive thru line at 452 (made a phone call when I was in line). Was the third car in line. I knew it closed at 5. They helped the female driver in front for over 10 minutes. They then shut the security windows and wouldn't help the guy in front of me. He yelled at the intercom for a minute and took off. I parked and went inside. They were closing up shop and the manager was there and refused to help me. Said the pharmacy closed at 5. I said I was in line at 450 along with another guy and they took over 10 minutes to help a lady in front of us. She refused to help and so did the pharmacy staff. I absolutely love this cvs. Being a medical assistant & having to talk to pharmacy sad of they are your coworkers can be difficult. However they have an amazing pharmacy staff with women who are extremely efficient. The pharmacist herself is so sweet & very smart. Will take the time you need to consult you on any questions. The store itself outside the pharmacy also has an amazing staff. The manager once over heard my car wouldn't start in the parking lot & she took time out of her busy day to start my car. If it didn't start she even offered to make sure if I had to leave it over night that her employees were not to call & have it towed. The girls who work there are always willing to get you a good deal, get you the most out of your money by letting you know of sales & coupons. Highly recommend them :) read more

THIS is the best CVS in Murrieta. They have a drive-thru, they text you when your Rx is ready for pick-up, the prescriptions are always in stock (in my experience), and they use common sense about when to process a refill. I honestly, hate this pharmacy with a passion. I wouldn't come here if I didn't live blocks away. I looove Stephanie the pharmacist, she is sooo great, and I'd be lost without her help, she gets 5 stars. She's way too good for this store. There are some intelligent workers here, but there are also incredibly infuriating, clueless, heartless, inept people. Long gone are the days where the pharmacy calls to help you. You run out of your prescription? This pharmacy won't tell you, won't contact your your provider, won't help you, they'll just tell you you're empty. You have a problem i.e. they create a problem? Good luck getting anything other than an under the breath apology with passing the buck off on someone else who isn't there currently. Phone etiquette? I've seen toddlers do remarkably better, you will NOT have an option if you don't want to hold. I dread every single time I have to call this place, unless I know Stephanie is there. You will be left on hold for 20 mins., without a choice, and never thanked for waiting. Customer service? What's that? It's clearly dead here, minus Stephanie, she's great. A man named Albert use to work here too, he also was great, as well as the taller man who is there now. My own Dr. hates this place, because of just how much they drop the ball, how unprofessional they are, and how alone they make the patient feel. This just shows you, one can have a DR. or upper level degree and be completely out of touch how the average household works. Don't get me wrong, it's a stressful job and insurance companies are ruining how things were once done, but it doesn't excuse the lack of compassion and ownership of mistakes. This place is so ridiculously slow. I dropped off a prescription from the ER and the male clerk said it would take 4 hours. I went up the road to rite aid and had it in 20 minutes. Now - on another occasion I am sitting in the drive thru and have already waited 25 minutes and were informed by the clerk through the phone that it would be "a while" because the pharmacist was going to be by herself and then she proceeded to take off her coat and walk up. There is a line of 6 cars behind me and gosh knows how many customers inside. The store is dirty and in need of help in both presentation and customer service. read more

This location isn't even worthy of the one star I'm giving it. The workers are extremely rude. They are even worse at the pharmacy here. I dropped by as soon as they opened to pick up some medication for a heart infection. Needless to say it hurts when I talk or move. I was trying to explain this to the lady working in the pharmacy but she completely ignored me and began to raise her voice at me. She started to yell at me to "speak up if I wanted her to help me." then she threw my medication at me and told me I was set to go even though I hadn't spoken to the pharmacist yet (who was even more rude). After I picked up the bag that she threw at me I asked to see the pharmacist since I had no clue what I was taking. When the pharmacist came over she had a huge smirk on her face and instead of explaining to me how to properly take my medication (which are some serious drugs) she went off on a tangent about how if "you're doing stupid things you're gonna get pulled over and get a dui." I was so annoyed at this point that I took my medication and my perfect driving record to a different pharmacy so that their pharmacist could go over how to responsibly take the medications. Half of the staff is incredibly rude. The other half are a mix of slow & incompetent. Don't bother requesting a refill be ready by at a certain time, it won't be. I'm sitting in the wait area right now writing this. My refill was supposed to be ready over 4 hours ago. Ridiculous. Same thing my last visit except after requesting I wait for my refill they kept me waiting and waiting and waiting. Finally 30 minutes later I get through the line and my refill had been ready for 20 minutes, I could tell by the time stamp on the refill paperwork stapled to the bag. In addition this place regularly refuses to give you medication unless you consult with the pharmacist, I'm not talking about new medications either. I'm talking about medications I've been taking for years and had CVS fill for years...It's insane! Fortunately my insurance recently changed and I no longer have CVS Caremark so I'm no longer tied to this chain of fools. read more

I was totally impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail and knowledge of Dr. Lisa W, the Pharmacist at CVS Pharmacy, that assisted me. My primary physician did not even catch the symptoms that i was exhibiting but Dr Lisa did, within a few moments of being in her presents. I was picking up other scripts that my primary physician wanted me to take, none of which were as serious as what Dr. Lisa W. suggested i look into for my own best health. Thanks to her i sought more medical advice the same day and i was in the Emergency Room within hours getting treatment. The exact same medical attention Dr. Lisa W. had recommended. Now, This is a situation of 3 different Doctors, non of whom knew each other, but 2 Doctors recommended the same thing. I went with the 2 Doctors recommendations.
