I currently have COVID and am not feeling well, so I specifically ordered a COVID test for delivery because I did not want to go into a Walgreens location, expose employees or customers, or risk spreading COVID to anyone else. I was guaranteed delivery within one hour. Approximately 40 minutes after placing my order, I received a notification that there was a problem and my order had been delayed. At approximately 4:25 p.m., I called the customer service number provided in the Walgreens app for assistance. Instead of helping resolve the issue, I was told they had no ETA, did not know what was happening with my order, and that I should call the Walgreens location myself to find out what was going on. I explained very clearly to both Anita and Melissa that I have COVID, I am sick, and the entire reason I paid for delivery was so that I would NOT have to go into the store and potentially expose other people. Neither representative seemed concerned about that or made any meaningful effort to help find a solution. There was no attempt to contact the store on my behalf, determine what happened to the delivery, provide an alternative, or even demonstrate basic empathy for the situation. What is especially troubling is that this is a pharmacy. Sick people rely on Walgreens for medications, testing supplies, and other health-related necessities. When a customer tells you they have COVID and are actively trying to avoid exposing the public, the response should not essentially be, "We don't know what's happening, call the store yourself." I even explained that without assistance, I may ultimately have to do exactly what I was trying to avoid: go to the location while sick with COVID just to get the test I was promised would be delivered. That concern did not seem to matter either. This experience was incredibly disappointing. Walgreens has publicly faced significant business and financial challenges, and experiences like this make it easier to understand why customers may choose to take their business elsewhere. A trusted pharmacy should be a place where customers, particularly sick customers, can expect compassion, accountability, and help finding a solution. Today, I received none of those things. Walgreens needs to seriously reevaluate how its call center representatives and supervisors are trained to handle situations involving sick customers and failed delivery promises. I expected much better.

I went to the store twice to pick it up, only to be told this morning that a male individual had already picked up my package. How was my package released to someone who was not me? Was identification checked? Who signed for it? I asked to see the signature associated with the pickup and requested that they review the surveillance video to determine who took my package. They refused. This is extremely concerning. A package requiring a signature should not simply be handed over to the wrong person. I am not accusing any specific employee of taking my package, but I absolutely believe CVS needs to investigate how my package disappeared while it was in their care and who authorized its release. I will be filing complaints with both CVS and UPS and requesting a formal investigation. Until CVS can explain what happened, I would not trust this location with another UPS package.

This pharmacy is a joke. They consistently screw up orders. Missing items, delivering only partial…read moreorders, taking several days to deliver a complete order, rarely read and efficiently document and communicate important delivery preferences to drivers and staff, as well as the actual orders that are to go out. Very nice staff that give the facade that they're efficient over the phone but when it comes to delivering and the service as a whole, they are not efficient or consistent majority of the time. Not sure what's happening over there but for me this is a tell tell sign that good management is simply not there or their internal protocols are unorganized or missing, inefficient or possibly outdated. It's almost like a bunch of irresponsible teens are running this place. I hate when I have to write a bad review like this, but they truly earned it! People deserve to know what they could potentially experience if they choose this establishment. They started off good then completely fell off. I hope they can one day get back to doing well and doing well consistently.
