Antoine was quick to respond and was able to come out within a day or so of me asking for a quote…read more Antoine provided a quote that priced all the work separately, allowing us to choose the work scope that was within our budget. He was also flexible in additional requests we had along the way (like asking for a final glossy coat to finish the wood floors). I was originally going to replace carpet with LVP but found wood floors under the carpet! We chose to have the wood floors refinished and stained and they turned out fantastic! It looks like a completely new space. The job was scheduled within a few days and was completed on schedule. Included (for a fee) in the quote was assistance putting furniture back in the room which was helpful. I'd contact Antoine again for future flooring needs.

My expectations might have been too high because of all the great reviews. My experience was good,…read morebut not excellent. Let's start with the good - he did get most of the stains out and did a great job tightening up our carpet. He was also on time and easy to communicate with. The not-so-good: the main thing that irked me was that he put our furniture on top of our other furniture. This includes an air purifier that was on the dirty floor of our bedroom which was moved to be on top of our clean bed. He also put our tables on top of our couches. Not the cleanest method to clean. When I've hired Stanley Steamer before they come with 2 guys who move all the heavy furniture around and place everything on these pad-looking things. They never put things on top of things. They also ask you to move the smaller things out of the way. Also, he also wasn't able to get out of a couple of minor stains. I'd say he was about as expensive as Stanley Steamer, but not as effective. All and all, he was a nice guy but his methodology is questionable.

Terrible - caused catastrophic damage and refused responsibility…read more I hired this company to install outdoor carpet on my terrace of a brand-new home. Before work began, I explicitly instructed the contractor not to use nails, screws, or make any cuts due to waterproofing and structural concerns. These instructions were clear and non-negotiable. Despite those warnings, the contractor ignored my instructions and used fasteners and cuts anyway, directly compromising the waterproofing system. As a result, my home suffered extensive water intrusion and damage that now totals tens of thousands of dollars. When I discovered the damage and attempted to address it professionally, the contractor refused to engage, hung up on me, and has since avoided all responsibility for the destruction caused by his work. There was no attempt to inspect, repair, remediate, or even discuss a resolution. This was not a misunderstanding -- it was a complete disregard for client instructions, property protection, and professional accountability. The work performed has resulted in major financial loss, legal action, and months of disruption. If you value your property, your investment, or basic professionalism, do not hire this company. I am now pursuing this matter through the courts because the contractor has failed to take responsibility for the damage caused by his actions.

Carl came over, inspected the damage and came up with a solution. He matched up the pattern in the carpet and saved me a ton of money. Honestly, Carl is an artist. I was looking through several flooring companies and settled on Bel Floor based on user reviews…read morefrom different sites. I have had mixed results from past flooring companies that I was a bit cautious at first. My initial call with Edward was very detailed explaining how he processes every project he has done. He also gave an estimate the following day based on the square footage and type of refinish work I needed. We scheduled for the day they would come out to start the job. A week before the start date, Edward informed me in advance that they may be a day late due to a large project they had to finish. They were doing work at the Governor's Mansion! However, they were able to start on schedule since his brother, Robert, came to start the refinishing process at the scheduled date. We gave Robert six stain options that we wanted to see on the floor. My wife was not satisfied with the look so we asked for six more stain samples. They were both very patient with our decision as they understand that this is a big investment for their customers. Edward and Robert explained the process of choosing the right stain and gave advice along the way. We decided on stain mix of two parts Weathered Oak and one part Classic Gray on red oak floors. From start of their work to finish, Edward would let us know the situation and would get feedback from us if he and Robert encountered anything that would be questionable. We were part of the decision process throughout the four day job. The fact that they continued to give us updates and would contact us in cases where they wanted our input was very impressive. They wanted to make sure there were no surprises and most of the decision made was by us. It's rare these days for companies to do this. The first time we walked in and saw the new floor finish, we were stunned at how beautiful int looked. Robert and Edward were also able to closely match the stair baluster posts and handrail with the floor stain. They gave us advice on what to use and how to care for our new floor. We are so happy we used Bel Floors that we will definitely use them again for our properties.
