I purchased flooring for my entire home from Brock Bauchman at Rite Rug. I made a really big mistake by hiring this company. I was not given a choice of size or color for the base and the sales person, Brock Bauchman, decided what I wanted. In addition, the base in the laminate floor areas was installed incorrectly. The base was not scored, but wrapped around corners and all puckered in my two bathrooms, utility room and kitchen. The transitions between carpet and vinyl was put in backwards and did not match. The transition in the foyer was cracked as it was installed over a screw. The old flooring is exposed as they never took the new flooring to the wall or covered it up with trim. It has been 90 days of trying to get them to come back to repair their mistakes, with no success. I went through three customer service people, an inspector, two installers and even sent the President of the company a letter. Even though, they kept telling me the materials were on order, the repairs never happened. In addition, they charged me $378 for removing a ceramic floor that was never removed and $150 for moving a a refrigerator two feet. They promised to refund the $378 for the ceramic floor which they never removed only they had to send someone to inspect. They never sent someone to inspect it. They did send a repair person. However, he left in a huff because he said he couldn't fix it. Numerous attempts to get this repaired has failed. I WOULD NEVER NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. BUYER BEWARE!! I would like to add that after 155 days, they did come back and repair my floors and Ron Dawson did a wonderful job. I can't thank him and Leona Spears, customer service, enough. Without their help, I would still be looking at hiring someone else to finish the job. I was due a refund of approximately $500 for services not provided. They charged me for removing an old floor and disconnecting the water line from my refrigerator which they did not do. In order to get a refund from them (only refunding the floor), I have to sign a gag order that I or any family member can not disparage any information about them or they can bring legal suit against me. They can keep MY $500 and I will stay out of jail and/or court. As I said before THINK REALLY HARD BEFORE DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! I wished I had known before I did.

This company has to be THE WORST flooring provider I have ever encountered. We spent over 11k on flooring which included the moving of the furniture and the removal and reinstallation of the toilets in the bathroom. Well, the installers damaged the furniture, walls, and some networking equipment. They also did not reinstall the toilets. This was all at a time when the home was being prepared to go on the market. Their negligence and delays cost me money. I had to hire a different plumber to reinstall the toilets. They kept avoiding me at the store, email, and customer service phone calls for over a year until they were contacted by Ohio Attorney General's Office and the Better Business Bureau. Afterward, Rite Rug only offered to reimburse us for the plumbers but does not want to own up to the damage although a mountain of evidence is stacked against them. That's ok. Well, our attorneys are on the case. BY NO MEANS WILL I EVER RITE RUG AGAIN. This company sucks! They only care about money and not the quality and service that is expected from every good company. My social media followers know about this company now. Apparently, the folks at Wrong Rug are not well-versed in the area of risk management as I am. I hope they go out of business.

So if you want your furniture to have a 1/2 in lean, call Rite Rug

Rite Rug installed LVP flooring in our basement. The concrete floor had low and uneven spots. Sales person, in an email, said that the install manager would fix them during the install. Well they didn't. I have a dip of 1/2 inch on my floor, and these guys laid the new floor right over the low spots. The Shaw product says the floor must be flat - 3/16 in 10'. I wonder how happy Shaw would be to know that these guys proudly install their floor wrong? The install manager, sales person and customer service person now say the unlevel spots would have been too hard to fix and since there are no signs of the floor falling apart they aren't going to do anything now. Wtf?!? However, Rite Rug install guidelines state if there are subfloor issues that the project would stop and a subcontractor would have to come in and fix the floors. It does not say Rite Rug will just install the floor on a subfloor that needs work. I can't believe they won't come back and address the problem. I understand mistakes happy. They should take accountability and either remove the floor, so I can get a professional to level the floor, then rite rug can reinstall the floor over a flat floor like it's supposed to be.

Let me start with we are a repeat customer. Used them in our home 9-10 yrs ago. No issues!…read more With that said we are not happy! Salesman came out on 3/25. We scheduled our LVP install Saturday 3/30 and Carpet install for 4/1. Saturday things were going smooth until they tell me they are 2 boxes short to finish our guest bathroom. It was measured so why are we short? This is unacceptable so we have to schedule ANOTHER install. On 3/28 I get a call saying they won't have enough carpet for the 4/1 install. This was a big job. Our home is 2705 sq ft. They came out in 4/1 and did what carpet they could. We still need our guest room, loft area and a kids room completed. Today is 4/6 and it's almost 4pm. I got a call at 730am saying our carpet had been picked up, but there was a service call before ours. At 3 PM my husband called the salesman we dealt with who said he would look into it. We still haven't heard anything from him so my husband called the phone number that called me at 7:30 AM. (+1 (800) 588-2300). They claim they cannot reach the installers. So we are left wondering if anyone is still going to show. I stayed home for this install while my husband drove to his parent's home 3 1/2 hrs away to see the Eclipse. I am beyond frustrated. Now will they show on Monday 4/8 to finish our guest bath? I have my adult child waiting at the home in the morning for them to show. I told them I needed a morning schedule because she has to be at work at 2 PM. If they don't show before she leaves not my fault. I'm not taking off of work for them to not show. Let alone my house is in complete disarray. I do not live like this. Unacceptable! Update. 520pm a van rolls up. I have been stuck at home all day waiting. This is unacceptable business practice.

My initial visit was great even took some sample boards home. I picked a few options and scheduled someone to come out and measure. It was really great they do not charge for that service even if you do not order. It took a bit for the quote and I did change my mind on the carpet selection due to cost so I needed an updated quote. The price was pretty comparable to other places in guestimation as I didn't have anyone else do an exact measurement. They also have a great selection of flooring of all types. I scheduled installation and was told it would be an all day job - 3 bedrooms, stairs, and hallway. I also paid for them to move the furniture. The all day job contractors did not show up until well after 12. I wasted a morning of vacation from work waiting on them. They were there until about 8pm which was very irritating. Afterwards I noticed some seams were a bit noticable. The sales person came out to look (did not show on the first scheduled date) and said he would send someone out to work the seams a bit. We scheduled a time and they did not show. I called and never got a response. I also noticed some damage to the furniture but by that point I'm sure nothing would have been done. I love supporting smaller more local businesses but I'm not sure I would recommend or return. Too bad as I do have more flooring to replace.

I can't believe they think parking in this way is ok -- they may have destroyed my hedge! The plants were dislodged and it's possible now that they'll be dead within days. The installers were rude to the point of being aggressive and denied that they had anything wrong. I can't believe I have to write this, but they did nothing to fix the situation and made no offer to compensate for the damages. A simple "sorry!" and an attempt to understand where I'm coming from would have gone a long way. He and his team showed up timely over the three days worked to install our carpet and LVP in the entire home. They did a great job in removing furniture and placing it back properly. The new flooring looks great in our home and we love how it looks. I love that the transitions from carpet to LVP match the LVP perfectly. I have no complaints in the actual look and quality of the flooring materials. My only issue was that we discussed how one of our main reasons for changing the entire flooring of our home was the squeaking noise that our second story had developed. Tom and the team removed nails to lessen the noise, but that did not last in removing the squeaky noise for more than a day. I feel taking time to put screws would have done a better job in eliminating the noise. As a flooring replacement is the best time to take care of squeaky floors, it would have been great if something more permanent was done. I also would have appreciated taking the old tiles off the kitchen and then putting the LVP as the kitchen floor is one of the squeakiest areas and we really have no way to resolve the issue without getting all the way to the subfloors. Since it's a costly project, I expected one of our core issues with the home to be addressed as much as possible.
