I used to go to Brow Bar, but Kat's impeccable attention to detail leaves me looking flawless in a way that no visit to the Brow Bar ever achieved. (At Brow Bar I would wait awkwardly/blindly, propped on a stool while the associates chatted with each other). Kat also explains each step as she performs it so that it's easy to really relax. First Keratin Lash Lift and it won't be the last. Kat is super professional, and she tells you what she is doing while she is doing it which is a big deal because you basically spend the whole time with your eyes closed. I am super impressed with the result considering I curl my eyelashes everyday -- I have probably spent hundreds on premium eyelash curler -- Kevyn Aucoin, Shiseido, Shu--- every single one damages your lashes. This one is such a time saver AND it looks soo good. Next time, I will ask for an even more dramatic look cause I am a lashaholic--- there are no downsides to doing this--seriously try it. Based on other clients' 5-star reviews I went with Kat for my first micro-blading experience and I am so thrilled I did! From the initial consultation to my touch up, Kat made me feel comfortable by her professional and calm demeanor, skills, and her very clean and organized work area. Fortunately, my first sitting was before COVID-19 restrictions were put in place, but even then, Kat was already operating as if COVID-19 safety precautions were in place due to wearing a mask and gloves (PPE) while doing the micro-blading. Ok so I had been waiting to make this review till I had a full idea of the effects of my keratin lash lift, but I go the lift on January 22, and almost 9 weeks later I still have actual curl and volume to my lashes! I've never been able to keep a curl in my lashes for more than an hour or two with regular methods, and I usually would just end up glopping on the mascara to compensate. Not a great look. I'd been looking into Lash lifts for a while, and eventually decided on Kat, especially because her price was really reasonable for the amount of delicacy involved when there are chemicals being applied near the eye. It was wellllll worth it. I had people complimenting me on my eye color because they were finally free from the umbrella that was my eyelashes. There is no doubt in my mind that I'm gonna go back. Kat was very calming and gentle and the room had a lovely ambiance, and the whole process made me much more comfortable going into the world bare faced.
