In town for Buisness…read moreand unfortunately it was cold and rainy and couldn't enjoy the atmosphere like it appeared to have when it's warmer outside. That being said the food was great and the staff went the extra mile. No complaints and when I'm back in town I'll be back.

Solid Irish pub grub done right…read more The fish and chips were on par with many other fine Irish pubs I've been to. Crispy, flaky, exactly what you want when you're craving that classic dish. The tartar sauce was excellent too, which makes a bigger difference than people realize. But let me tell you about the coleslaw. One of the best I've had. Seriously. It's one of those sides that you don't expect to steal the show, but this one did. The bartender was attentive and kept things moving. No waiting around, no flagging anyone down. Just good service at the bar. If you're looking for a spot to grab a proper meal and a few drinks, Blarney Stone Pub delivers. It's nothing fancy, just well done Irish food in a comfortable pub setting. And sometimes that's exactly what you need. The Verdict: Blarney Stone Pub hits the mark. Great fish and chips, excellent tartar sauce, coleslaw that punched above its weight, and attentive bartending. Four stars for a reliable pub experience.

We were…read morecelebrating my wife's birthday and I asked if they could do anything special for her and when they showed us to our seat they had a crown for her! This was the sweetest and most caring thing a restaurant has done for us even when they did not need to. They really went out of their way to give us a special night. This place is beautiful and perfectly decorated. It was a nice romantic night with some of the most fantastic food I have tried! We tried the 5 course tasting menu and it blew us away! One of the dishes were Beets and I don't even like beets but they made it taste so delicious I really don't know how they did it. Favorite dish was the fish dish in garlic sauce. We were blown away with all of the flavors we had that night. Like I said, please please please try this place at least once in your life!

The food alone or the wine alone are very, very good. Some of the dishes are divine, even. But it is in the pairing that the meal transcends, the components complementing and elevating each other. The menu changes constantly, kept current to Chef Bryan's dictates. So I won't try to predict or offer a guarantee that elements of my meal will be available. Instead, I can tell you of the harmony in flavors and textures found in my seared foie gras with black walnut marmalade and fig sorbet. or the surprise of how the slight formaldehyde note that lingered a bit past midway taste in the 2017 Hourglass Blueline Merlot disappeared and the wine gained complexity and harmony paired with the Roquefort toast. It is an art worth a detour to taste. Supported by the city, it has the promise of becoming worthy a journey on its own. Look

The experience here left me underwhelmed. I have been looking forward to coming to Parker's bistro…read morefor quite a while, my friend and I stopped for a couple appetizers while feeling a little peckish. We got the Chislic, and the cheese plate. The cheese plate was pretty disappointing, the cheese looked like it had sat out all day. No major flavor profiles, a basket of basic crackers to go along with it and olives. For the cost of a cheese plate I expected to be relatively satisfied with it. No fruits, jams, breads, spreadables (1). The fluidity of the dish was very stale, as well as the freshness. The Chislic is some of the best that I've had, having travelled far and wide, I can say without a doubt this is so far my favorite out of 18 countries and hundreds of restaurants. Our waitress seemed incredibly green, didn't seem familiar with the menu, upon checkout, added an erroneous item to our check, which I would've missed had I not gone over it, overall, I was disappointed in the visit that I had at Parker's bistro. I had had high hopes for my first visit, and was hoping for this to be a new favorite restaurant downtown. Wonderful ambience, absolutely stunning Chislic, great drinks, and warm staff regardless.

I need to ask more questions when ordering. I just can't bring myself to eat rare (raw) duck. An interesting menu I would call French possibly. You'll need to end your meal with an Americano and in home dessert. Most of the waitstaff are friendly and helpful. Don't forget to stop at Parker's cocktail bar, (Myrtles), next door for a night cap. Craft cocktails in a pretty space.
