Good food, and small town feel. Had breakfast, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and steak omelette and were all good. Worth the stop!

It is a restaurant poised at the cusp of very good into excellence. And admittedly, Sioux Falls was…read morenot where we expected to find a restaurant of this quality. The food alone or the wine alone are very, very good. Some of the dishes are divine, even. But it is in the pairing that the meal transcends, the components complementing and elevating each other. The menu changes constantly, kept current to Chef Bryan's dictates. So I won't try to predict or offer a guarantee that elements of my meal will be available. Instead, I can tell you of the harmony in flavors and textures found in my seared foie gras with black walnut marmalade and fig sorbet. or the surprise of how the slight formaldehyde note that lingered a bit past midway taste in the 2017 Hourglass Blueline Merlot disappeared and the wine gained complexity and harmony paired with the Roquefort toast. It is an art worth a detour to taste. Supported by the city, it has the promise of becoming worthy a journey on its own. Look

What a disappointment! We have dined at Harvester Kitchen and now HK since they opened. Our meal…read morewas mediocre at best. The cold asparagus salad was tasteless, the halib and waygu were both overcooked and the dessert definitely made the day before. The stars are for Ashley the sommelier... Interesting and well paired wines. We've just heard that Bryan had left when we dined there... thus the lackluster meal. We will try it again.... It is at $200 plus each.. so only worth one more try. It breaks our hearts as it was our go to for special occassions...and we loved chatting with Bryan about the ingredients at the end of each meal. Good luck to the new chef. He has GIANT shoes to fill.

I have to many good things to say about my experience here. I had an amazing time and meal there…read more We were the only ones, the owners, server, and chefs were all so sweet, accommodating, it was a homey feeling. The food... omg that burger I'm not even a huge burger fan but it was perfectly cooked, not greasy, flavorful but not to overpowering on any of the parts, the melty cheese, the crispy soft bun, the fried cream cheese triangles were crispy and flavorful on the outside, so creamy and yummy on the inside, all of it together was a little sweet, savory, PERFECT, the bacon on it was a little spicy and smoky, there was a creamy spicy sauce. The whole thing was perfectly balanced in every way, so yummy, I already miss eating it. The fries shocked me, I don't like sweet potato or waffle fries but there were savory, sweet, perfectly crispy. The onion rings we got for the table were pretty good for someone who doesn't like them, the ranch was not amazing or bad or mid, just pretty good. The straight fries were basic but not bad either. The boneless wings someone at my table got were basic, not bad but they are just boneless wings and I'm not big on teriyaki. They had free arcade games and local artists pieces to buy (I got a painting). Everything about the place was amazing, so homey, chill, amazing food, if you are traveling through this a must stop spot. They had options for the chef to pick your meal (that's what I did) and another option where you could buy the kitchen a beer for 6 bucks.
