So, we headed to Laughlin, NV for a Trace Adkins concert, since we had never been there we wanted to Yelp a few places to eat close to the Edgewater Casino and El Original Pastrami popped up, it looked like it could be really good, so we called to confirm their closing times since there were a few different times depending on where you looked. So the female who answered was super nice and sweet, she did say they closed at 4:00pm then asked if we would like to place an order for pickup. I shared our dilemma about still on our way and we had not arrived yet and not sure if we would be there before 4:00, again she was nice and said we'll let us know as you get closer and we could still stay around, I thought that was so nice. Well, we made it in time in fact we called when we were almost at their location so they could start the order since it was close to them closing, we ordered their King Kong burger, a full hot pastrami and a hut slider, once we got to the location which is a small drive up shack/shed, they were so nice, and had our food almost ready. You could smell the deliciousness exuding through the bag once we got it, of course we couldn't wait to try the food although we planned to take it home with us, but it was so delicious, the pastrami was so good, hot and juicy. The hut slider was a definite winner, I should have bought more, that's how delicious they were. The King Kong Burger was huge, with mounds of pastrami, they do not skimp on their food servings. If you are looking for a great pastrami sandwich and are in Laughlin/Bullhead City area this is a must. When we come back, they will be our first stop. I only wish they were in Las Vegas. read more

Great experience; we ordered ahead of time since we were driving from Vegas and wanted to make sure we could get our order in. We made in time 3:55pm; they close at 4pm. The food was an amazing and great price. And customer service was perfect. Will definitely come again! read more

Pastrami Reuben had good flavor and very delicious. More meat than what I have thought especially for how small it is. Very filling. Potato salad was very good. It's not straight mayo and actually tastes like someone made it. The Mac salad was also good. Kong Burger was delicious as well. What brought this to four stars was the smoothie. Literally not blended and just chunks of ice with some weird after taste. Like a virgin Daiquiri mix. Wasn't good. Don't get it. Service was on point. That is all. read more

Everything here is fantastic. The salad (gyro meat), the pastrami sandwich, the reuben, all fantastic. We have been here a few times now and it is always perfect. You either have to take it to go or sit outside. It is covered outside, but when it is 110 plus out it is hard LOL. read more

One of the best Pastrami sandwiches ever! And have eaten at some famous places for Pastrami. You cannot go wrong here. The Only issue is it's a little, tiny place on the side of a do it Yourself car wash , so it's really hard to find. read more

Wow, what a bummer this place has closed for good. I knew that once it changed hands from the hut to whatever it is just wouldn't be the same, but went there today March 5, 2026 and they were closed. This place was excellent. Just stopped in and it's attached to an auto wash. We had the pastrami sandwich and the gyros sandwich. Both were very very good. The big surprise was the homemade Taziki for the gyros. It was excellent, possibly even better than our own home made . Would highly recommend this and I will come here every time I'm in town. I'm not gonna lie....we were very worried that after this place changed owners, the pastrami quality would go down but we were very happy that our pastrami sandwich was fabulous! That is all we have ever eaten here. The previous owners tried briefly before selling to change the quality and people noticed. Thankfully, they changed it back. The prices were raised a bit but it's the quality that counts and we don't mind paying more. Please keep those incredible pastrami sandwich's coming..we will be back! read more
