The food is pretty good but when I asked the guy in drive thru for more salsa he seemed annoyed that I'd ask for more. He only gave me 1 more and then proceeded to tell me that if I wanted more he would have to charge me. He said it as a joke, I wouldn't have been so upset about it if he would have just given me some salsa to go with my food. If I could give zero stars, I would. We had the most terrible customer service experience I have ever experienced. While we were volunteering at a school event, we ordered from this business through Door Dash. We received the incorrect food through the delivery service. I called to report this and was informed to throw away the order they delivered and they would remake our food asap. The delivery driver went back to pick up our order and they told they wouldn't be remaking it, since they did not have the incorrect food back. I again called back the business to sort out what was happening, they then refused to remake or refund us the money, if we didn't return the incorrect food (which was already thrown away in a public garbage; which I was not going to dig through). I have NEVER been treated so poorly by a business. Basically being accused of lying about receiving the incorrect food and trying to get a second order. We will NEVER give them our business or talk nicely about that business again. read more

Rude and not the best. First of all, their customer service is one of the worst that I've seen. When a customer asks you directly "Please make sure the cheese is melted inside my enchilada." Shouldn't that be a hint, that it's been a problem in the past? They just threw cheese inside it then got an attitude when we came back to complain and just reheated the enchilada and threw more sauce on top of it so we wouldn't notice the cut we already placed in it to check the first time. Secondly, it's a lot to pay for not that much food. If you want actual good tasting Mexican food, check out La Herradura in Dallas. It's a bit of a drive, but honestly so worth it for the price, quantity and the people that work there!! read more

As a burrito fan (as fanatic) - if you've read any of my Mexican places review you know I love burritos. I ordered a carne asada burrito - which is basically carne asada, pics de gallo and guacamole. I also asked them to add in jalapeños . After I got the burrito I added grilled onions and hot sauce.Next the taste test - the burrito was just awesome! The carne asada was well spiced - but not spiced as in chill peppers. The meat was extremely tender and had a great taste. With my additions - made it one of the best burritos I have had in quite some time - just loved it This place is highly recommended I loved every bite sure wish I lived closer - I would make this place a regular - at least once a week - more likely 2 to 3 times a week read more

Will always be La Wronga to those of us in the know, and will always be WORTH IT! My favorites: Super Breakfast Burrito with the red sauce they used to put with the limes and marinated carrots (converted me into a sauce user for Mexican, singlehandedly because of that delicious vinegary red sauce they served pre and hopefully will put out post COVID), And if Im REALLY hungry or have a friend to help (or will get it to-go and remove the chips before bagging them and refridging and nuking), Ill get the Nachos with Shredded Beef (off menu, but OMG SO WORTH IT). read more

Despite the poor Yelp reviews, I decided to give this place a shot. Mainly because it was close to Corvallis High School where my son was playing in an out-of-town basketball tournament in the morning. Gross! Burritos were supposed to come with guacamole, cheese and sour cream. Got home to find dry carnitas, dry tortillas and "salsa" that was mostly just chopped onions. Not enough hot sauce in town to make it moist enough to eat. We each had a couple bites then threw them in the trash and, embarrassingly enough, made frozen burritos from our freezer. $15.00 in the trash. 2 stars because the lady at the counter was really nice but 7-11 has better burritos. read more

Corvallis would be nothing without Riva's. From like 10:30-2:30 am it is the most magical place in the Pacific Northwest. Even better than the Enchanted Forrest. Riva's is the... Go-to "I want greasy unhealthy satisfaction" destination. Whether you're drunk and lost in downtown Corvallis or sober and just craving a bad decision, I really think Riva's holds the trophy on this one. I've been buying their burritos for almost ten years, I think there is a lot to take in with that sentence. Definitely ask for their sauce(s), they rock. We move here 3 Months ago and we went to a few places and gave up trying to find good Meccan food tell we came here. Pure garbage. Avoid and save your money. Every thing is microwave, the burritos are watery so the tortillas always soggy. The beef is so watered down, the beans over salted. The rice was decent but it's really hard to mess that up. The enchiladas are over stuffed with onion and tomato so it looks bigger and there's like no meat, might as well call it vegan. I decided to drive through a get a veggie burrito , after having seen and passed by Riva's many times. I was quite happy with my choice - it was a good sized burrito just perfect for a meal without feeling too full . The ingredients were tasty, only thing is I wish I had 2 hot sauces instead of one , the green sauce definitely enhanced the flavor and was just hot enough . Went here on a drive through Corvallis because it was late and it was open. Some time ago this used to be Rigoberto's, which has a location in Milwaukie and is pretty decent. Ordered a bacon breakfast burrito and a veggie burrito. Both were super bland. The bacon burrito was 80% potatoes and 15% egg. Maybe 3 small chunks of bacon. Veggie burrito was just bland. Even with hot sauces. Maybe we just had bad luck. It's nice that it's open late and the food wasn't gross, just bland. read more

Shout out to the folks behind the counter for charging my phone! This place is a convenient and super filling Mexican food one-stop shop. Portions are huge and cheap. Popular with the late-night partiers subset of the college population. The horchata was bomb and met my Southwestern Standards for cinnamon perfection, not overly sweet and very mellow spices. I'm guessing if you're drunk or hungover this is the exact medicine you need, but it's a fun place sober nonetheless. Brimming with people and bustling with noise and activity, even late on a Friday night (or to be more precise, a 3 am Saturday morning). You'll probably find a table pretty fast though as the people around tend to clear out in droves once the ridesharing app hour starts. Worth a visit! Normally wouldn't complain about such cheap food but they didn't even try. Like, this was one of those places where I briefly wondered if it the food was some kind of practical joke... Like, "ok, let's see if these people will actually eat this." Which I did. Because I have no shame, and I was hungry... I was not impressed by the food here. Refried beans looked like cat food, totally flavorless. The meat in my burrito was pretty dry, yet somehow soaked in grease. The enchilada did not resemble any enchilada known to man, it was little more than a soggy mess. Service was curt, but we came in late at night, so the lady at the window may have just been tired. Riva's is a long standing fast food restaurant and I am amazed it still stands. The staff inside are some of the rudest people I deal with. As someone that worked in a bar, and understanding that the primary crowd Riva's deals with are drunk students, I can afford them a little latitude. However this is about the 9th time I have gone through their drive to have my order messed up, only to realize it once arriving at home. This is the second time I personally have ever gotten a recipe. As such I carried my burritos and the recipe back to ask if they would replace my order. After being called several colorful names by the man behind the counter (of which he either assumed I couldn't understand him, or just didn't care.) told me "I got what I paid for, good night." Walked away and refused to come back to the counter. Now I understand having a bad night, and not wanting to deal with idiocy. However when handed a Loko Burrito with a recipe for an Oregon, and asking for it to be fixed, being cursed at and being refused service is a little upsetting. My reason for the review is simply to warn people that the staff while normally quite rude, does not fix a messed up order, and depending on which person you get at the counter, beware because they can be quite insulting. read more

Ordered a variety of menu items. Previously tried this place with a fish taco that was cold and gross. When I called the restaurant about the bad taco they would not apologize or replace the order. Terrible service. Very sad to see a bad place like this in town. Gave another try yesterday and Rivas can be summed up in two words stingy and disappointing. Very solid San Diego style taqueria. I went with the regular carne asada and was very pleased. Succulent meat, great salsa and guacamole. Everything in harmony as it should be. The red sauce has a great bite and I inhaled it. I'd love to live near this place and eat here all the time.
