SMI was able to accommodate us within a few days. The workers here were very quick, professional, and didn't try to get us to spend unnecessary money. Prices seemed extremely reasonable. They have great communication. They have earned our future business, and I look forward to working with them again (although hopefully not soon).

I scheduled an appointment to have my tires rotated. I arrived on schedule and was quoted $102 to…read morerotate four tires. I waited for 40 minutes before asking what the delay was. I was told even though I had an appointment there was not a lift available. I asked for my keys back and went to a Goodyear shop. The rotation was done in 15 minutes and the total bill was $33. The bottom line is I don't want to see another senior citizen taken advantage of by Louisville Automotive Shop.

Detailed estimates and explanations for necessary repairs and maintenance are provided. The truth hurts sometimes, but car ownership is like that. Prices are as expected for the level of technical expertise received and comparable. Location is now at Old Harrod's Creek Road out past Blankenbaker in an updated and modern property that staff will be glad to provide a tour. (I do miss the location in Jeffersonville, but it is now devoted to just the diesel component of the company.) Staff are all kind and knowledgeable. Waiting room on site is comfortable and well maintained if client has to loiter a while.

It took less than 24 hrs to complete my service. They gave me locally made chocolate chip cookies and a bottle of water. My car is driving well.
