I found a car that I never would have picked out on my own, and Tommy made it possible for it to fit my budget and credit score.

Before my scheduled pickup, I specifically asked multiple times whether my co-signer needed to be physically present since I was not financing through Carvana. I was repeatedly reassured that they did not need to be there in person. Based on that information, I made arrangements, changed my schedule, completed the necessary steps, and coordinated everything with my financing company. Then, on the day I was supposed to receive the vehicle, I was told by the person handling my pickup that my co-signer had to be physically present. I was extremely frustrated because this was the exact question I had been asking beforehand, and no one had provided me with that information despite multiple opportunities to do so. What made the situation even more frustrating was that after everything fell through, I was told that my deposit and the money I had paid out of pocket would take another 10-15 days to be returned. After already spending so much time arranging financing, changing plans, and preparing to receive the vehicle, having to wait that long to access my own money created another unnecessary inconvenience and delayed my ability to move forward with purchasing another vehicle. The most disappointing part was feeling like my time, effort, and money were tied up because of a communication failure within Carvana. I understand that policies exist, but customers should be given accurate information from the beginning so they can make informed decisions and avoid situations like this. I hope Carvana improves communication between their teams so future customers are not put through the same experience.

He was patient, answered all my questions and took the time to send additional photos of the car. I live out of town and it was more cost effective to fly there and make the 4 hour drive back with my newly purchased car. Terrance offered to pick me up from the airport and ensured I had a smooth experience. He truly advocated for me and listened to a concern I had after the test drive. My one complaint is that Bachman was not flexible with financing. I have stellar credit was forced to take a high interest rate from one of their partners. They told me they don't accept financing presented by the customer so I was forced to take the high rate. My credit union's loan officer said dealers are more than capable of accepting outside financing but often will mislead because of incentive for using their partners. The rate they gave me was insulting and I plan to refinance immediately. Overall, smooth process and big fan of Terrance. Be prepared to fight for financing.

1 STAR -- BUYER BEWARE…read more This was easily one of the worst car-buying experiences I have ever had. I wasted nearly a week trying to purchase a Subaru Forester from this dealership, only to have them REFUSE TO SELL ME THE CAR after taking my deposit and running my credit. My first interaction was with a salesperson named Jim, whom I found extremely pushy and condescending. I told the dealership I was not comfortable working with him. Manager Jeff Williams then reached out, offered me a good deal, and assigned me to another salesperson, Walker. I test drove the Forester and put down a deposit on Tuesday. I was waiting for an insurance settlement to arrive, which came in Friday. Walker was out Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and specifically asked me to wait until Monday to complete the purchase. I agreed. On Monday, I communicated with Walker throughout the day trying to arrange a time to finalize the sale. I completed their online credit application and was approved for the promotional financing. I had already insured the Forester, had my down payment ready, and had made it very clear that I did not want GAP coverage, warranties, or other add-on products. I repeatedly explained that I wanted as much paperwork as possible prepared ahead of time so I could come in, sign, pay, and leave. I initially asked about coming in at 3:00. I was told they had other vehicle pickups and to come at 6:00 instead. Then, at approximately 4:30, Walker called and told me that if I came in that evening there would be AT LEAST a two-hour wait just to finalize my paperwork. At that point, I asked a very reasonable question: When can I make an appointment to purchase the car with minimal waiting? Their response was essentially that they don't make appointments for this. Instead of giving me a time when they could complete a transaction THEY HAD KNOWN ABOUT FOR DAYS, they refunded my deposit and told me they were no longer going to sell me the Forester. Seriously. I wasn't negotiating the price. I wasn't backing out. I wasn't asking them to hold the vehicle indefinitely. I was an approved buyer with a deposit on the vehicle, insurance already obtained, a down payment ready, and financing approved. I was literally asking them to give me an appointment to come PAY FOR THE CAR. Now, after wasting nearly a week, I have no Forester and I have a hard inquiry on my credit report from financing a vehicle this dealership ultimately refused to sell me. The entire experience was incredibly unprofessional. I found the sales staff rude and the way this transaction was handled completely unacceptable. If you're considering buying a vehicle here, BUYER BEWARE. Get absolutely everything in writing before allowing them to run your credit or taking a deposit. Based on my experience, I would never attempt to purchase a vehicle from this dealership again.

Please do not buy or get your car serviced here…read more Two weeks ago my 2021 Buick Encore GX car started giving me error messages below. Shift to park Trunk open Windshield wiper fluid not coming out Check engine light came on. My husband took it to Autozone on Hurstbourne at Stonybrook and got a diagnosis of ECM error codes under powertrain below. U18D5 U18DC U18D7. He checked those fuses and said they were good. I then call and took my car to Courtesy Buick this past Monday. Dropped off with Trevor Crichfield and he said it would be $199 for diagnostic test. He went home that very morning as it was evident he was sick. He did text me to let me know someone else would reach out to me. No word on Monday then I texted their number at 11:30 Tuesday. Travis Goedeker who is Service Manager calls and tells me I had to have battery replaced, shifter replaced, trunk latch replaced and windshield washer pump replaced at a cost of $2800.00. I declined and asked him to get me size of shifter on whether it was a 4 pin or 6 pin and said he would find out and call me back, then said my total would be $240. No I was quoted $199, where do you get $240. He said $40 shop fees. I refused to pay the $40 stating that should have been told at the beginning. He then stated "I went out of my way to get you size on shifter". Oh so you don't do that anyways for a customer??? How dare you say that to a customer I said. Picked up my car, did not get copies of 5/6 pages of details but only two pages. Have left a voicemail to Travis Godeker to provide those and have gone to corporate to file a complaint on this so called Certified Service Manager that couldn't diagnose my car correctly after speaking to Frank Mooney when I left and went straight to OReilly's only to have them tell me the same thing that Autozone said. You don't need a new battery or any of those other items replaced. These are error codes where your car is not communicating from under your hood to bumper and this is what's causing the issue. Called the GM who called me back with his so called certified service manager and they both tried to over talk me and talk to me like I was stupid. He then said he would refund my money for me to go elsewhere. Supposed to be mailing me a check. Guess what Mr. Mooney? Your so called service manager isn't so certified in his field or him or your tech lied and tried to get $2800.00 for what the real cause was and is now fixed. The BCM FUSE was not in the fuse box. Did you really diagnose my car or just give me some bullshit story thinking I would fall for it and try to charge me $2800.00 for a fuse. You are both pathetic and are not the caliber of what the SWOPE family who never treated people like you two have. We have bought over 7 cars from when SWOPE was there and two after they left. I will NEVER buy or service a car on your lot again. Please friends and family do your homework and don't let this place try to walk on you like they tried do with me!!!

We were complimenting the sales manager for how smoothly they ran things around here, boy did I eat those words. When we settled on the car we wanted, we went through and signed all the necessary paperwork, I was nearly jumping out of my skin with excitement when we signed the paper allowing them to "post a photo shaking your hand in front of your new car." A little while later, we were met with extreme disappointment to find we needed a co-signer in order to be approved. I was hurt and a little annoyed that they went so far with the paperwork despite not knowing if we could actually take it. We got in our car, pulled to the other end of their lot, we made a few calls and found a co-signer. We were gone for less than 5 minutes. We pull back in, hopeful tears in my eyes, to give the information for our co-signer. They started processing it and we waited over an hour to hear an answer. I'm in disbelief when after all this time, I finally heard the word "yes". My mother is who was approved as the co-signer, they said they just needed her to come sign a paper and we are good to go! My mother is a care giver to my disabled step dad so she had to ensure everything was safe at home before she made the trip to help us get our car. After only 30mins of waiting on my mother, we were called into an office, at 3:30pm, to tell us they sold the car to someone else, who test drove it after us at 1pm. They said their company policy is "first come first serve" but I guess they mean "whoever can give us the money the fastest" because they will apparently sign papers and do financing for the same vehicle for multiple people at the same time. I cannot begin to express the disappointment, the heartbreak. I don't want to speak on my personal life and mental health, but simply, the mental burden this experience has been to me is unreal, but what's even more unreal is hearing the talk amongst the salesman that this is the SECOND time they've done this to someone THIS MONTH. To the salesman, Dan Defler and the new cars sales manager Nick Dampier, that robbed us of our vehicle and our incredibly kind, humble and patient salesman Malick of the commission he deserved, I mean this in the most disrespectful way possible, screw you.
