Drink and beautiful riverside patio view. Can he at live music at schooners

Back again one year later and even better than before! Will be coming by every summer. Service throughout the meal was excellent and the vibe of the interior is immaculate. The Maine fog and cucumber trick were excellent cocktails to start the meal. Then had oysters, the carrot spread and the pork belly bites for starters, all incredible. Finally had the porchetta and my wife had the scallops for main courses, both incredible. Would've licked the plate clean in the privacy of my own home. For desert the blueberry cornbread with pistachio ice cream was to die for. Can't recommend enough, been here 3 times 3 separate summers and each time has been better than the last!

Outstanding service on a busy night!! Cheeseburger seriously one of the most ambitious ones in the state -- sichuan peppercorn aioli, chile crisp, a juicy marinade, and charred greens with fondant potatoes, a perfect pairing. Hearing about one with a sichuan pesto made me want to reverse engineer it. Flawless peach cobbler cheesecake special with a perfect perfect cinnamon bite, and a really special cocktail program. Killer date night spot and amazing tunes and murals.

This restaurant is a gem that needs to be tried. Prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. We started with the biib salad which had a blue cheese, garlic dressing. Delicious We also had roasted tomatoes with a biscuit and carmilised onions. Both dishes will leave you speechless they were so good. The tomatoes and biscuit were served in a small cast iron pan and to us it reminded us of Thanksgiving. So good. For our mains. I had the goat shwarma with a side of veggies. The meat was flavorful and tender. Do not be fearful that its goat. It was not gamey at all. The side veggies of quash and beets were excellent. My wife had the muscles which came in a garlic and herb broth which was exceptional. The finaley was a lime, whip cream, and a short bread crumble. It was basically a deconstructed key lime pie.. You have to try this place and tell your friends. Worth a drive.

I heard a lot of good things about this place, and was very excited to go in and have a try at their restaurant in the "Napa valley of oysters" in Maine! And believe it or not... this place was GREAT!! WHAT I HAD: corn on the cob, burger, their in house special mackerel dish, and the chicken!!! Of course we had the dessert as well... OVERALL: I loved everything about this place and it definitely was a good relax... chill... and enjoy the vibes type of restaurant. The servers were very polite and attended to us frequently! There was one server who helped us set up the fire outside because we were cold, and that just made the meal a more pleasant experience. My favorite dish was the corn!!! Honestly everything was so good but the corn stood out to me because they managed to elevate a simple ingredient like corn to a dish worth its value. I loved the creamy-Ness of the outside layer, and the corn was not a sweet corn but a chewy and less sweet corn (not sure what the same is called), but it all worked out!! Super delicious!! Don't worry if you are sitting outside, there's also room for adjustment with this restaurant!! Definitely check it out if you are at Damariscotta!

So lovely!! A small limited menu, but thank goodness because it means that each dish is very thoughtful, seasonal and intentional. Nearly all indoor tables have a river view. Setting is very cozy and welcoming and the front street patio looks very fun for summer. It's a special place for a date or with friends. Really look forward to returning!

They have a few parking spots and some street parking available nearby too. It's a spot that you order at the counter and get a number and can enjoy either an indoor or outdoor table and wait for the food to be delivered. We enjoyed a table outside in a perfect shaded area on a beautiful day. Inside was a perfect rustic and homey vibe with some live music during our visit. Both inside and out were popular choices and we had a little line before ordering but minimal wait. Food wise my I got a lobster cilantro and lime lobster roll, while my wife got a Lemon Dill Lobster roll (both currently $30 market price). We split a large basket of fries and could not pass up splitting a current special of Homemade Blueberry Bread Pudding with Lemon Glaze. We know we made good choices when the worker taking our order was telling use we made the perfect choice of our food spread. The lobster rolls were tasty and included a good amount of lobster to them! Fries were crispy and only could have used a touch more salt and finally the bread pudding was amazing and the perfect bite to finish our meal! What a fantastic spot worth seeking out! I know even as Maine locals my wife and I would seek this spot out again. A must try if you are in the area.

The roll was fresh and delicious, the huge chunks of lobster were fresh and tasty. I got the butter option and it wasn't too heavy on butter at all. The side of cole slaw was great too. Really wonderful flavor and not too much mayo. Light and right! Blueberry bread pudding was delicious too. I wish the blueberries were integrated more and not just on top, but I would still order it again, it was so good. Friendly staff too! Parking right outside, indoor and outdoor seating, restroom inside and they take cash or credit cards.

It was close to 7:00 so we asked if we could get food up on the deck and were told yes but there was limited seating. We found seats, the view was beautiful so we planned to get dinner. There was not nearly enough staff but we eventually got drinks. It seemed like no one wanted to take our food order. My husband was finally able to ask a waiter to take our order and we got a rude reply that people with reservations came first. He came back after awhile and told us that we would get better service if we went downstairs to the dining room. He did take our order but made it obvious that he didn't want to. At 9:15 my husband asked him about our food and told him we had been waiting a long time. The waiter was so nasty and told us that he could just cancel our order. He was unwilling to even check to see if our food was coming out soon. He told us that if he did the kitchen would tell him that it would be ready when it was ready. After 45 years in the food industry I recognize that restaurants in Maine get busy in the summer time and I know that it is hard to find help but there is no reason for the rudeness. Don't allow patrons into your restaurant if you are unwilling or unable to wait on them. Yes, it was a holiday, yes it was busy. But don't open your doors if you can't handle a packed restaurant.

Sunday around noon, needed to wait for about 10-15 minutes for a seat on the patio since we didn't have a reservation. The staff were incredibly sweet and the food was out of this world. I think the space is very cozy, with an open kitchen and wood tables and bar. The cute little market in back is wonderful to check out before or after your meal. The staff is absolutely wonderful. So kind and making recommendations along with answering any questions you have. I think for the price of food you are really getting a great deal. Everything is made fresh in house from scratch which you can watch when you sit at the bar which i did. Watching orange juice wbu freshly squeezed and the donuts being put together from absolute scratch. The burger is definitely a great choice, I couldn't get over the house cut fries and the alna sauce was wonderful to dip them in. The burger was juicy and delicious and paired perfectly with the Volcanique red they had on the menu. My mother ordered the grits and eggs, this dish was cooked perfectly and had a house made salsa verde. The side of sourdough is a must get for shareable side. The house made jam was spectacular - they make every sauce and dip and spread in house and you can really tell. It elevates the meal so much. The drinks were a bit overpriced in my opinion but as someone who lives in Portland i wasn't surprised they were priced that way. The standout from the meal was definitely the sour dough donut. This was fried fresh to order and we had the seasonal flavor that was lime glazed and it was absolutely breathtaking! The crispy exterior with the fluffy inside was perfection - you have to order this. I definitely will need to come and check out dinner here. Highly recommend making the trek out!
