If you're looking for fancy.. this ain't it. If you are looking for old time Maine.. this is it. It's quaint and cozy. The floors aren't level but they are original. We picked a cute table in the railroad car and were greeted right away to get our beverage order. Great beer selection and a full bar. Always a plus! I opted for fried oysters and hubby got the Rueben. Sooo much good and soooo delicious crispy yum. Stop in.. get this goodness in your belly

Came back for the burgers, fries, and mozzarella sticks. The burgers are simple, freshly formed patties cooked to order with salt and pepper, fluffy delicious roll, crunchy tangy pickles. Served with a bag of chips. Order the seasoned fries on the side. They were hot, crispy and well seasoned. The mozzarella sticks are the right kind of crispy, melty and stretchy. Dialed in and good to go.

The shrimp plate, lol look at all that breading!

Reunion Station, what a blast. The last time I was in this quaint place I was about 40 years ago as a kid and it was a pizza place. In fact that was one of my first food memories, the best pizza with fresh made mozzarella. But we aren't here to here about what it used to be. We visited this place after meeting a friend. I had the seafood platter and she opted for the shrimp plate. My only complaints would be the shrimp were barely larger than popcorn shrimp, and really what you're paying for is a whole lot of fried breading. So you order a drink, yep it comes in about a 8 ounce plastic cup and never got any refills. Dinner rolls, yep two straight out of the package and colder than the pats of butter. Service was sub par. If stopping in here I would ask questions before placing the order or might be disappointed. Mine was fine, she was not satisfied with hers at all, barely ate any of it and didn't want to wait to order something else. This place is a solid 3.5 stars, wish that were an option.

Good food, service, decent portions. Cute dinning in train car. Off the road, sort of a hidden gem.

They have a few parking spots and some street parking available nearby too. It's a spot that you order at the counter and get a number and can enjoy either an indoor or outdoor table and wait for the food to be delivered. We enjoyed a table outside in a perfect shaded area on a beautiful day. Inside was a perfect rustic and homey vibe with some live music during our visit. Both inside and out were popular choices and we had a little line before ordering but minimal wait. Food wise my I got a lobster cilantro and lime lobster roll, while my wife got a Lemon Dill Lobster roll (both currently $30 market price). We split a large basket of fries and could not pass up splitting a current special of Homemade Blueberry Bread Pudding with Lemon Glaze. We know we made good choices when the worker taking our order was telling use we made the perfect choice of our food spread. The lobster rolls were tasty and included a good amount of lobster to them! Fries were crispy and only could have used a touch more salt and finally the bread pudding was amazing and the perfect bite to finish our meal! What a fantastic spot worth seeking out! I know even as Maine locals my wife and I would seek this spot out again. A must try if you are in the area.

The roll was fresh and delicious, the huge chunks of lobster were fresh and tasty. I got the butter option and it wasn't too heavy on butter at all. The side of cole slaw was great too. Really wonderful flavor and not too much mayo. Light and right! Blueberry bread pudding was delicious too. I wish the blueberries were integrated more and not just on top, but I would still order it again, it was so good. Friendly staff too! Parking right outside, indoor and outdoor seating, restroom inside and they take cash or credit cards.

While it was a lot cheaper then, and maybe a bit better, we throughly enjoyed our meal here. The biggest improvement is the comfy outdoor dog-friendly tent. Service was very sweet and prompt. Our ribs and swordfish were excellent. The tent has a large floor rug which added a homey touch. The only downside was the 70s rock canned music. Otherwise, this is one of only a few worthwhile dining experiences here.

Our waiter was pleasant, but the service itself was glacially slow: 15 minutes for 2 drinks to be delivered; and it should not take an hour from the time you order to the time your dinner is served. The steak frites, previously a favorite, was a disaster. Steaks were undercooked, fries were overcooked, and the grilled ceasar salad I remember really enjoying was an over-dressed, over-cooked soggy mess. The Kraken appetizer, again an old favorite, was cold and soggy. While sitting outside on a summer's evening can be pleasant, their tent is dank, dark and chill. Even the paper menus were wilted. They have heaters, why not light them? This evening at Franny's was a sad disappointment.

We decided not to sit in the back as it was a crowd of people and it was already hot. I can't do hot while I eat - I made the best of it and we ordered food. We ordered fried calamari & scallops wrapped in bacon and we each had a clam roll. I can't eat white potatoes as it's inflammatory for my auto immune- no sweet potato was available - I do prefer them -or used to them- and so I got asparagus (odd for a substitute but it's veggies) this was a super treat I'm not sure how the crab should have tasted but it's not what I'm used to growing up so for me , I personally didn't like it and I didn't think the flavor was good - I added lemon- didn't seem to help. The atmosphere was great but the concentration was on that back room. The crab roll could have been better as I've had them before, calamari was good and scallops too. Also noting most of these restaurants never have NON COLA DIET SODA - It sits right in the harbor - the waitress engaged in conversation - a lot of these folks are immigrants on a work visa returning to the Harbor during summers & then fly to their countries until the next summer.
