We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at ReUnion Station on a rainy November evening. Growing up north of Chicago, I remember as a kid my parents taking us to Victoria Station restaurant, which old rail cars were assembled into a building, ReUnion Station is the same - see pics. From the reclaimed wood in the hardwood floors to the antiques lighting and decor, this place is a treat to visit even before delving into your meal. They graciously took our reservation over the phone 10 minutes ahead for our party of 8, and had the table waiting when we arrived. After a warm greeting by the manager, she quickly seated us and took out drink orders. We started off with several appetizers including Seafood Stew, Bacon-Wrapped Sea Scallops, and garden salad. Generous entrees followed out expeditiously consisting of fresh Fried Haddock sandwich + fries, fresh Fried Clam sandwich, grilled Ribeye, grilled Salmon, and for the kids, fried chicken strips. Everything was homemade and sourced from local farms and suppliers. Service was OUTSTANDING from start to finish. Bottom line, I give ReUnion Station my strongest endorsement read more

Looking for a restaurant on our way back from a coastal day trip we happened upon this train themed restaurant. Think rustic feeling restaurant that utilizes a train car for part of their building and lots of train themed decor. Plenty of parking and when we showed up and we got sat right away. Large menu with a good variety so everyone in your party should find something they want. Also had a specials offering for the day with some good sounding options as well. Staff were friendly and greeted us and once ordered food came out quick. I thought prices were reasonable which does seem harder and harder to find nowadays. Did the food blow me away enough to rush back or tell everyone I run into to check this spot out? Well no, but it was decent especially for the price. My wife got a BLT and was perfectly crisp and they didn't skimp on the bacon. I got their fried clam dinner and it was not bad, little lighter on amount of clams than some spots and not the best tasting fried clams I have had but decent. It seems like a spot that would remember you after just a couple visits and the workers would treat you like family! Overall solid experience here with good vibes and friendly staff for decent tasting food at a reasonable price. read more

Stumbled on Reunion Station since our other option was closed. What we discovered was a welcoming old school haunt located in a converted train station. A lot of old timers and locals here, enjoying fried seafood specials, sandwiches, fries and many other diner--type dishes. The large table behind us was celebrating an 80th birthday, and happily shared the homemade chocolate cake they brought with them. Great way to start our vacation in Maine. read more

If you're looking for fancy.. this ain't it. If you are looking for old time Maine.. this is it. It's quaint and cozy. The floors aren't level but they are original. We picked a cute table in the railroad car and were greeted right away to get our beverage order. Great beer selection and a full bar. Always a plus! Came back for the burgers, fries, and mozzarella sticks. The burgers are simple, freshly formed patties cooked to order with salt and pepper, fluffy delicious roll, crunchy tangy pickles. Served with a bag of chips. Order the seasoned fries on the side. They were hot, crispy and well seasoned. The mozzarella sticks are the right kind of crispy, melty and stretchy. If you want seafood, this is not the place to go. I ordered fried clams, and they were just thin little clam strips. They tasted terrible. I also had potato...cold. a roll, cold, but the coleslaw was good. I have always loved the reunion station....but definitely will think twice before I go again. I spent 35 dollars from the senior menu.....for a terrible meal . The service is great though, and atmosphere was nice. read more

Reunion Station, what a blast. The last time I was in this quaint place I was about 40 years ago as a kid and it was a pizza place. In fact that was one of my first food memories, the best pizza with fresh made mozzarella. But we aren't here to here about what it used to be. We visited this place after meeting a friend. I had the seafood platter and she opted for the shrimp plate. My only complaints would be the shrimp were barely larger than popcorn shrimp, and really what you're paying for is a whole lot of fried breading. So you order a drink, yep it comes in about a 8 ounce plastic cup and never got any refills. Dinner rolls, yep two straight out of the package and colder than the pats of butter. Service was sub par. If stopping in here I would ask questions before placing the order or might be disappointed. Mine was fine, she was not satisfied with hers at all, barely ate any of it and didn't want to wait to order something else. This place is a solid 3.5 stars, wish that were an option. read more

We love Reunion Station. My dad and I enjoy this establishment. The food is good, we normally get finnan haddie, which our favorite waitress lovingly calls finnan yucky. Linda is fantastic. She is a great server, with a fantastic personality and is a total riot to have as your server. She is one of the main reasons we go there, she does however have to be reminded about salt and pepper, or condiments... Because if covid-19, they're not left on the tables and we love picking on her for forgetting them. The food is really good here, also, you can't find finnan haddie many places and it is prepared well. Though not as smokey as I've had, but tasty none the less. Many other things on the menu are delish also. Haven't had a bad meal here... Good food, good prices, great atmosphere, a fun place, and a place I would highly recommend. read more

This is nice locals spot just off Route 1 on the road to Nobleboro. I loved my fried whole-belly clams. Big portion and fried perfectly. However my wife's fried shrimp were a flop -- they are tiny shrimp so it's more batter than shrimp. She should have gone with her first instinct -- fried scallops. I'm sure they are much better. If they had had the grapenut custard I might have gone five stars but it was 86. read more

The service was amazing. The people were so nice. Dining out with a toddler can be challenging and the staff were well prepared with friendly faces and coloring books. The food was great. My husband was especially happy with his rib eye and I didn't try it but heard the fried clams were delicious. I would definitely go back. read more

Consistantly good food, reasonable prices, and friendly staff, there are few downsides to the Reunion Station. The menu is mostly fried seafood and sandwiches (burger, Ruben etc) but has a handful of salads, dinner entres and specials. My personal favorite meals are the seafood platter, the Reuben with fries (which are excellant) and the chef's salad with chicken. Among the apps I recommend the onion blossom, fried pickles or the buffalo bites, although you really can't go wrong with anything. They are one of the few places in Damariscotta still doing take out after the Corona virus outbreak, and only until 6 p.m. but the food is still excellent. Also available to go are deserts, a delicious chocolate cream pie, with a selection of other pies and custards. Their menu, including their daily specials are available on facebook. During normal times the waitresses are super friendly and accommodating, but I think they've pared down the staff because they're only doing take out now. Still, great food at reasonable prices and is highly recommended read more

Reunion Station is a little hard to spot off of the road but 100% worth visiting. We stopped off for lunch, and were very impressed. My wife and I both got the turkey dinner special! There is a takeout window and outdoor seating as well! The staff was very friendly, in fact, the lady at the window was the kindest person I've encountered in some time and that really made my day! They also have takeout cocktails and beer and wine for those who are interested. read more

On my too infrequent trips to Maine, I've driven past this place hundreds of times. About twenty years ago, I actually stopped and had a very good order of fried scallops. Then a couple years ago, I ate there with a classmate I first met over sixty years ago and was really happy with it. Have stopped five or six time since then, and always happy with selection, price, quantity and quality. I can get a burger and diet coke, or I can get a seafood platter and glass of wine, and several dishes in between. Wish there were a way to add a half star; they deserve it, but I can't justify a fourth star. read more

This restaurant is about as good as you can get and more so! A real gem, perhaps the best diamond of the bunch as in all around service and food in the entire area of Lincoln county. Two friends and myself went this past Sunday evening, 11/10/19 and what an experience and what good and delicious food we were served. The entire waitstaff was one young lady who carried out her duties to the utmost. Even though we seemed to have waited for many minutes it was relatively a very short time, as this poor waitress was taking care of the entire restaurant floor by her self! She came and took our orders and treated us as if we were her first customers of the day and not the next to last, giving us additional time to make sure we ordered was what we wanted and not pressuring us to hurry up! The meals showed up a few minutes later and we were delighted with our delicious food as it seemed to be cooked to perfection for each of us. Two of us even ordered dessert, which we seldom do and it too was so very good! We all paid our separate checks and left our tips on the table for exceptional good service. I, myself when checking out, added in another tip amount for our surely tired waitress on my credit card as she certainly deserved it and probably much more. I definitely recommend this restaurant and its entire staff for jobs well done. Will return soon! read more

This is a great little "local joint" - super casual with a great staff. Best fried clams on the mid coast, and home made lobster stew to die for! Seafood and desserts locally sourced, and Linda is a kick! Easy to just drive by, but absolutely worth the trip. Try it!! read more
