The indoor pool is a decent size and was an ok temperature. Rooms were clean and comfortable with comfortable beds. Free breakfast in the morning was good. The airport shuttle was super easy! I found this hotel through Hotels.com, where I have a loyalty program with them. With that said, I booked this hotel because of his proximity to the Chicago international airport. It was cheap enough to where it was good and the super brand has been a good friend to me over the years. I have used them. and so, my friend dropped me off at this property to check in around 1:30 PM to see if I could check in a little early so he could go to Midway Airport to catch his flight. I managed to check into the room, but I would have to wait 30 minutes because they were actively cleaning it at the time of check-in. And so with hotel room here in hand, I went with my friend to grab a quick lunch. My friend drop me off after lunch and we parted ways that day. The rest of my stay here at this Super 8 motel Rosemont/OHare hotel property was satisfactory and typical of budget hotel brands accommodations. I received a room with a king size bed on the first floor and everything works in the room. I didn't need their air conditioning because the weather outside was cold enough. It was November 10, 2024 when I was here. Since my flight out was at 7 AM the next morning, I could not participate in the hotels complimentary breakfast. Wasn't sure if there was one, but I assumed there was one that I could not participate in. The shower worked and the TV surprisingly didn't work. I did not report it and just play with my phone to amuse myself. The overall experience at this specific Super 8 motel Rosemont/OHare well it's overall decent yet a little bit disappointing. Mostly because of the TV not working, but everything else was good. The bed comfort was pretty good and I got a good amount of sleep. The check in process was good and friendly. The checkout process was also good and friendly, where there was a guy at the front desk at five AM in the morning and I just dropped my room key with him along with my room number. After that, I got a Uber to the airport for my flight home. If you want the basics in a hotel room and don't want to pay downtown hotel prices, you may want to stay up near the airport. Only problem is commuting from the hotel to wherever you need to go. But this hotel brand is remarkably marketed to budget friendly people And those corporate types who just want to save a few dollars on their hotel room to stay. Hotels like Super 8 cater to the working class and those who want to be a little money conscious when it comes to travel and work travel. For my own personal, this hotel brand works because it provides a cheaper rate for me when I travel. Cheaper the better of course. Roommates here typically average under $100 per night. The one I see here was comfortable enough and looking forward to coming here again if my future travels permit me to do so. You may want to choose the room with the king bed. It's quite good. This specific particular Super 8 motel is located at 3160 North River Road in Rosemont, IL. They accept major credit cards as part of the hotel booking, either directly from the hotel website or through third-party booking sites like Travelocity and hotels.com. As far as parking goes, they have a limited amount of parking here that you can park directly next to your room door, if you were staying on the first floor. If you're not well, you can park as close as you can, but you would need to go upstairs anyway if you were at the second floor. The building has two floors and may not have an icemaker on each floor. You may wanna ask the lobby staff to see if there is one so you can have ice during your stay. As for me though, I was dropped off by my friend in a rental car, but departed in an Uber to the Chicago O'Hare international airport. Best way to get here would be to Uber or Lyft or a rented vehicle, I have your own personal vehicle on site. Not sure about the local areas public transportation system and whether not if links with Chicago O'Hare International Airport. You may wanna double check with them to see if they do or do not. Super eight hotel generally does not have airport shuttle service, so you're out that option. Good night sleep is very important and thankfully that I will stay here at this Super 8 before my long travel day from Chicago to Honolulu in November 2024. Recommended if you are in the area and want to save a couple bucks on your hotel bill. It's not the best but it provides basic comfort and a roof over your head. At an affordable price. 4.0 stars for the over experience 3.0 stars for the prices. 2.5 stars for the TV not working, but it wasn't a dealbreaker during my stay. They also have a free breakfast buffet in the morning. If you need to take their shuttle from the airport, make sure you call the front desk to have them send the driver.
