Grandbabies having a great pool day!

What a great day at the pool at River Pine Resort! The pool is clean and fun for all! Great drinks and the food from Roadhouse- always a hit! Thank you for opening day passes to us locals!

I'm a wedding planner and have a wonderful couple getting married in Graeagle this year. River Pines is always a go-to place for great accommodations & amenities and was the couple's first choice to refer their guests to stay during the wedding weekend. The new ownership of River Pines has brought upgrades and a great restaurant, but with such a big transition, things can fall threw the cracks sometimes. This lead to a miscommunication with policies on the dates my couple was eager to book. My job is to advocate for my couples, so when I called the resort I was so happy that the front desk gal and the manager Heather were willing to come to solution with me. Booking groups can come with a lot of logistics and River Pines was quick to put customer service first. Thank you to their management team & lovely staff for being a great reflection of small town hospitality. The rooms are charming and the property is well groomed, we love the event space and pool, all so perfect for groups. We will continue staying and recommending River Pines as it's the best way to conveniently experience all that Graeagle has to offer. Tip: Book ASAP. Places to stay are minimal and this resort books fast.

Absolutely wonderful. Came in for a wedding and had an issue with another booking. Heather understood and took care of us. Check-in was easy and quick. Heather is friendly and very efficient! The rooms are rustic but very clean and spacious. The Roadhouse Restaurant is amazing!! Delicious food with outstanding service!! The manager is so hands-on and friendly they are sure to succeed. If you're lucky enough to have Riley as your waitress you're in for a treat. Top notch 10 stars. Heather and Riley big kudos!!! Can't wait to come again

River Pines Resort has a few stand alone cabins as well as a few rows of motel style rooms available. It's located off highway 89 and they have a little playground a a decent size pool with a little bar. Next door is a Mexican/American restaurant and down the street is the small town of Graeagle. If yiu want luxury, River Pines is not it. This is a place to lay your head, let your kids play, and for you to have a chill time.

For 90 bucks a night in graeagle this place is pretty awesome! The rooms are comfy with a little kitchenette set up and all the dishes and silverware you could need. The fridge is almost full size but the microwaves you have to request and they are first come first serve. There is a tv with an hdmi hook up and pretty basic cable. The bathrooms have a bathtub and are clean and there is lots of parking and a fan. The pool area is great with an out door bar/snack spot and hot tub. They have a shuffle board thing and corn hole, plus a kids playground. They say no dogs during the summer but people had dogs. There's also a main room near the lobby /front desk area with a large tv and games for the kids. On mondays they did a free bbq with burgers and hot dogs! Which is pretty cool. It was peaceful and quite and very clean, although a little dated. If you have the chance check out the restaurant on site too!

Snowy day early May in front of rooms

First time staying here. We went up to The FeatherRiver for our daughters wedding and several of us stayed at The River Pines, a recommendation by the groom's family. The place did not disappoint. We were most happy to have a kitchen option and it was wonderful. The room was clean, warm and charming. Moderately lg bathroom and large closet. Really like the older style of this place. We will be back!

Beautiful area. The ride from Nevada.

What is the difference between the Original and Deluxe accommodations (Besides Price) Thicker walls on a Deluxe room? Separate unit?

I'm really not sure....call them. Maybe the deluxe are newer, location?

I knew exactly where I left it. When I called the lodge and advised of this they stated they'd look for it and check with cleaning crew and call me back. They did call me back and stated nobody had seen it. I knew exactly where I placed it before I checked out and they were insistent nobody had seen it. IMO, a small amount of decency and integrity speak volumes and will get my referrals as well as repeat business. I'd rather have an ok steak with exceptional customer service than a fabulous steak with poor customer service. Honesty is free and anybody can do it!

They do offer a document that outlines local hikes, which was helpful. Nancy was very kind and left a map and our information by the main cabin since we arrived after 8:30 PM. We also forgot our key, and she was able to help us out by locking our cabin and leaving us an extra set of keys. I love that they offer a complimentary breakfast in the morning, which comes with sausage or bacon, and some fruit and a baked good. The waitresses, Jennifer and Kelsey, were so sweet and were so friendly towards my 4 year old - we felt welcome there! Everything felt very quaint and cabin-like. Everything was pretty up to date as well--this is an excellent glamping option! The bed itself was not the most comfortable, but it all still worked out.

Let me tell…read moreyou a bit about what you can expect: The Lodge is set off a couple hundred yards from Gold Lake Highway, nestled in the woods at the trailhead to Round Lake. (You'll see a lot of day-trippers parked at the trailhead -- just hang a right to drive into the Gold Lake Lodge campground.) The campground is made up of three tent cabins, about a dozen small cabins, and the main dining room. Those who stay in the tent cabins will get a slightly more rustic experience: you'll have a full bed and a dresser in the tent, but bathrooms and showers are in separate outhouse-like structures (perfectly clean, hot water, flushable toilets, etc.). Those in cabins will live in luxury with their own bathroom and shower. Both can accommodate 2-3 people depending on how much you like one another, but 2 is probably the right number for most. Prices are substantially cheaper for the tent cabins than the cabin-cabins, but both are reasonable. The price tag includes a full-blown breakfast, snacks for lunch, and a gut-busting dinner. Meals are served family style, and you'll quickly learn the ins and outs about which dishes to order, but everything will leave you full. Steak features prominently on the menu, but there are many other options too. My favorites? The pork loin with "Gold Lake sauce" (whatever that is!) and the Buffalo burger (also, not coincidentally, with "Gold Lake sauce"). For breakfast, you can't miss with the "Gold Lake scramble". (See the pattern?) For dessert, the "szarlotka" -- Polish apple pie -- is the runaway favorite. The lodge is run by the ever-helpful John, and ably staffed by a small gaggle of Polish students, who return year after year and add a little bit of cosmopolitanism to the woods. Perfect for all types, very close to amazing hikes and lakes... pretty hard not to give it 5 stars.
