    One of the tasting areas.

On the Napa River walk with a beautiful view of the Napa River. This unique tasting room offers more than the wines (which are all excellent) they have various artists displayed including hard to find Eames & Barcelona chairs. Each room has different art to enjoy. You can enjoy your tasting with Morimoto food. Go to their Oak Knoll property on the corner of Big Ranch and Oak Knoll and look at the GIANT Ball with Jacks, Key and chain. Great place to take a picture with Blackbird wines. We will be back!

A sample of some of the fun art on display at RiverHouse!

A tasting at the RiverHouse by Bespoke for their Blackbird wines is a step above the rest! A truly lovely change of pace and combination of wine and their art gallery. We were lucky to have a lovely weather day and sat out on the veranda overlooking the Napa River, which was an additional plus! Our host, Matt, was genial, very knowledgeable about all the wines of Blackbird as well as the larger Bespoke Collection, which was hugely appreciated. He had also done some homework on our past purchases and kindly focused our tasting with that in mind! His sales pitch was perfect for a current customer and we were made to feel at home, unrushed, and as if we were simply sitting sipping among friends! The art was beautiful and it was very nice to be given a few minutes to walk around and take it all in. This is a great option for a different tasting pattern, in a lovely spot, and with some truly awesome wines! TIP: Don't miss their Illustration! It rocks!

Beautifully situated along the Napa riverfront area, we had a wonderful early afternoon tasting with Kelli. Kelli is an absolute STAR and such a sweetheart! She was so informative and engaging, we ended up bringing several bottles home with us and really enjoyed all the art in the galleries. I am still sorely tempted by the huge corkscrew piece, but have no room for it in my home. We were lucky enough to catch actors Omar Benson Miller and Hill Harper filming the pilot for their new show Polished and they were nice enough to speak with us and take some photos with us after their segment wrapped. Kelli took some really great photos for us!

What a fabulous day on the river in Napa. RIverhouse sits on the river in downtown Napa and houses many beautiful art pieces. I especially loved the comic prints with the hilarious wine comments. It isn't a huge space but there is art in every corner... much more space than at first glance AND the wine was fantastic! We started with a 2015 Blackbird Vineyards Dissonance, which is 100% Sav Blanc. Bright and crisp. Lovely. While perusing the art, we sipped the 2014 Blackbird Vineyards Arise (an almost even blend of merlot, cab and cab franc). It was wonderful. Then we enjoyed my favorite of the day, their 2013 Blackbird Vineyards Illustration--a blend of 60% merlot, 30% Cab Franc and 10% cab--divine! And last but not least, we tasted their 2014 Resolute Cabernet Sauvignon. (This was a close second favorite for me.) There is a patio with seating outside if you prefer the local view to the art, but if you take that route, be sure to peruse the art before you leave. There are some beautiful and playful pieces to enjoy. NOTE: We couldn't find it at first because Main Street skipped 604 and the gps in my phone kept saying, "you are here..." NOT. Luckily Napa Valley Welcome Center was at 608 Main so we went in to ask. They are on the other side of the building, we were told. So we went to the end of the block, headed towards the river, turned left and there they were.

Love it! According to Matt our wine advisor- the place had only been open since September of 2016. I'm glad because it's such an optimal hidden area right in a cozy little riverfront nook next to Morimoto restaurant along Napa river. We opted for the Principal collection tasting and were pretty impressed. Since it wasn't busy at all (weekday after 4th of July) Matt suggested we taste their acclaimed rosé and enjoy the afternoon at our leisure. Mind you, this is a showroom housing art work while co-hosting this space as Blackbird Vineyard's tasting room. What an awesome idea! Would I be back? Most definitely. As the budget allows, I would probably become a wine member as well. If I had a deeper pocket, I would even purchase artwork from here.

    Welcoming.

This was a wonderful surprise. A beautiful walk up the river downtown Napa, on a warm day, with a good friend. That walk up to the front of Riverhouse Bespoke Collection, I was impressed with it stylish Elegance. A small welcoming seating area outside so you can enjoy the River View whlle taking some pics of the surrounding area was brilliant. There's also a very comfortable sitting on the inside of this showcase of Art and photography and furnishings and Industrial collections. It's very stylish on the inside very well decorated open space and nice people greeting you at the door. Matthew Mills introduced himself he is a very warm person as well as everyone that represented that company there today. As I walked in they made me comfortable and showed me around the gallery. Any questions we might have about the artwork and prices were answered right away. We were able to enjoy some wonderful wines that were served today. We had the Blackbird Vineyards which have a wonderful selection of wines. The names were unique to their wine. I like that but you do have to take wine notes to remember ones that have names like that. I enjoyed the Arriviste, Dissonance, and the Arise under the Blackbird vineyards Napa Valley label. These wines and many more are offered for sale in the gallery. So if you want to come in and treat it like a wine Boutique with tastings you can do it that way or you can come in and treat yourself to some of the collection to put it in your home. The gallery is a nice-size high ceiling very well-lit and decorated the way I would want to do that. I suggest whether you like wine or art go for one reason or the other and just enjoy it all. It's a very relaxing laid-back way to look at a gallery. Most galleries that I go into have specific lighting in corridors and white walls and it's very kind of modest and unassuming. This Gallery is wide open and makes you feel comfortable.

This is a beautiful tasting room with a luxury rustic feel and artwork from both established and local artists. We had our very own tasting host who lead us through a tasting of 5 of Blackbird's premier wines. 3 of the wines were Bordeaux style blends, which I love and left me with a strong desire to join their wine club! I highly recommend this location to those who want a higher end, personalized tasting experience in a riverside, art-filled setting.

Pop art with relatable quotes, I think I'm in love!

Who doesn't love checking out cool art while sipping on delectable wine? Mark RiverHouse as a "must go" on your next visit to Napa. The patio is the perfect location to take in the afternoon sun, watch kayakers go by on the river, and people watch. When the sun gets to be too much, step inside and cruise around the gorgeous RiverHouse to explore the curated art treasure trove. RiverHouse has unique finds that play off pop culture, history and science. I was quite taken by the beautiful Annie Liebovitz book on display and the Rock Paper Scissor sculptures that are woven throughout different areas of the space. In the back is a funky lounge that can't be missed, you'll find books both modern and vintage in art, fashion, and design with SF local Anne Getty's latest book on the shelves. RiverHouse also offers a wonderful selection of boutique wines from exclusive invite-only wineries in Napa. Blackbird wines known for their Cab Franc blends are the real treat of RiverHouse and a must try/take home for any wine lover.

My husband and I were able to call ahead and schedule a very last-minute tasting, and from the very beginning, the hospitality was exceptional. I work in the wine industry on the retail side in Texas, while my husband does not, so creating an experience that feels both educational and approachable for both of us is not always easy. Steve absolutely nailed it. He welcomed us warmly, shared thoughtful stories about the wines and the winery, and made the experience feel incredibly personal. The tasting room itself is beautiful and feels like a hidden gem in Napa. We especially loved learning about the wines and the woman winemaker behind Levendi. The tasting was stunning from start to finish. What truly sets Levendi apart, though, is the level of hospitality. Since our visit, I have referred many of my favorite clients to Levendi, and Steve consistently goes above and beyond for them. He bends over backwards to make sure my customers are taken care of, and every single person I've sent has come back raving about their experience. At this point, a trip to Napa would not feel complete without a stop at Levendi. I honestly cannot imagine Napa without Levendi -- or Steve. If it's your first visit, do yourself a favor and try the Stagecoach. You won't be sorry.

Wow, how far Domaine Carneros has fallen is truly sad…read more I have been coming here since childhood (with about at 15 year break for obvious reasons). In the 90s and early 00s they allowed well-behaved kids, and I remember being enchanted by the sheep cutouts, the pate and cheese, and the beautiful fountain. We eventually stopped being brought around, but my parents stayed members for decades. When I returned as an adult as guests on my parent's membership, the visits were wonderful. Servers were warm, the wine was phenomenal, the view stunning, and the food always great. After years of joining my parents, I finally became a member myself. Since then, visits with my husband have been inconsistent. To be clear, WE are consistent- we dress well, behave respectfully, never overindulge, and tip generously. Most of the time service is attentive, we taste everything, order plenty of food, and buy lots of wine to take home. Friends have even joined because they loved the experience. But about a third of the time service feels strict, stingy, and inattentive, and I cannot understand why our treatment differs so much from my parents, even with the same servers. But, we came back again and again, because MOST off the time it's a dream. This past weekend, however, may cost them two memberships. We visited with two couples, one already a member and one interested in joining. We were dressed well, respectful, and ordered plenty of food. After asking for a couple more tastes to go with our next round, we were told there was a limit of four pours. When the server returned (I had asked for some time to reconsider the tastes if we were limited), she said three. Everyone agreed we were told four the first time. If this is a new policy, why did it change within minutes? Why weren't we informed the first time we asked to try something else? Service declined from there. No checking on shade, slow follow ups when we asked for additional accoutrements, and no water top offs unless we asked. We were absolutely mortified that our good friends we had invited had this as their first experience, after us spending years telling them about how magical it generally is here. We ended our visit early and spent our money at Iron Horse Vineyards, where we enjoyed hours of great wine and a beautiful view without being cut off. One of the couples actually ended up joining their wine club based on the stark differences. Domaine Carneros lost an additional membership, hundreds in purchases, and may lose two dedicated members. All it would have taken was a few more ounces and a little more time. When we visit wineries where we hold memberships, we expect to be treated as valued guests and to enjoy tasting as much of the menu as we can until we are finished. Little gifts sent to us on our membership anniversaries are cute, but where is that same sentiment when we're there in person? That doesn't seem like too much to ask for other wineries. I keep giving Domaine Carneros chances though, as I have so many amazing memories here. My parents were shocked when I told them. They had just visited and had the experience they have enjoyed for decades. So why didn't we? We now have to decide if keeping this membership is worth it. The wine is excellent and the views impeccable, but I am not sure I want to support a place that so clearly chooses who gets better treatment.

My favorites were the 2022 Primitivo and 2021 Malbec, which we bought a few bottles of. Ambiance - Secluded private winery. Close to main Downtown Napa, but far enough away for privacy and a feeling of being far away. Appointment only, so very private and customer focused. Typically no more than 3 parties at a time.
