Nice ferry ride between Penn's Landing in Philly and Camden, NJ ( next to Adventure Aquarium ). Free from Camden to Philly but you got to pay from Philly to Camden. No crowded at all. It tended to run late. For example, schedule was 4 pm. Ferry got in at 4:10 and we didn't leave til 4:20. 8 min ride each way. Vending machines. One boat has restroom. My other one doesn't. Wheelchair/stroller accessible. Only stairs accessible to upper deck. Lower deck was closed in with air conditioner. Staff was friendly. Penn's Landing has seaport museum $16 adult, plenty of free hammocks if you just want to lie around, Food trucks for tourist prices. $4 got soft serve ice cream. You have an idea. It also had boat rental including those swan boat. See pic for pricing Recommend the ferry? Yes. One time. Price is little steep to enjoy 16 minutes total ride, especially family of 4.

9$ for 45 minute round trip. You can get off in New Jersey or stay on for a full trip. They go up to the Ben Franklin bridge and down the USS New Jersey for some great photo opportunities. Boats are clean and have vending machines. I don't see any place to get an adult be very though. Do not be late to the boats however as they do leave on time.

Downstairs.

$7 roundtrip. Easy way to get from camden to philly. About a 15 minute walk to south street. 3 year olds and under free. You can buy online and print to avoid the line. There is a restroom on board. It is not terrible in fact much better than the port a potties you'll have access to at spruce harbore park. The first level is inclosed and has climate control. The second left is not climate controlled but has a roof the shelter from rain. Strollers are allowed.

No issues with this for me. It's cheap and convenient. $7.00 for a round trip. There's a parking garage nearby. I park up by the festival pier for free and walk down. Takes about 10 minutes to walk. I rather for that than pay $20 for parking. Whatever you decide to do, it's cheaper than paying for parking in Jersey as well as the toll to get back into PA. There's the Spruce Street Harbor Park right there and food stands if you're trying to kill time or want something to after. The ride is quick. The ferry times are extended for events at the Susquehanna. If that's what you're doing, I HIGHLY suggest you leave a little early if you want to catch the first ferry back to Philly. If not, you'll have to wait a little while. That's to be expected though!

Lacks the capacity to handle after concert crowds. The line is disorganized with people cutting. Never using them again for a concert.

Left 20 minutes before the posted time. We missed our concert. Completely unprofessional and over priced. Would not recommend.

But I try to push myself to experience things, even it is through white knuckles and a tapping foot. I booked my trip on the Cape May Lewes Ferry about two weeks out. That way I knew what time I should show up and to secure myself a spot on the boat. Having never taken this ferry before I did my due diligence and educated myself on everything I needed to know. The best way to secure you spot is to go their website ahead of time. Select whether you are a one-way journeyman or if you will be returning. They will need to know how my passengers, whether you will be towing anything, motorcycle, walk on, etc. Have your pass ready upon driving up to the gate, they will scan it and tell you which lane to go to. Once there, all you have to do is wait. No need to worry about getting out of your vehicle and walking over to the visitor center, most people will be doing that. I got out and ventured over to take some pictures and explore. During your wait, there are multiple things that you can do for entertainment. There is a playground if you have children. There is a store inside for souvenirs. There is a place to grab some food. There are trails to walk, benches to sit, and one more very interesting thing. There is a mini miniature golf course outside. Want to use it, go inside to the information desk and ask for some putters and balls, once you hand over your ID to ensure you return with items. When it nears time to start boarding the boat you will hear an announcement to return to your vehicle so that they can do a quick inspection of your vehicle. The staff will then start directing which vehicles will enter the boat first. Motorcycles first and then they go down a lane. I was lucky to be in a lane that was basically first and made my way onto the boat. I was instructed and guided to a spot on the boat. Take note that once you are on the boat to pay attention to instructions. Do not let your alarm system on. As the motion of the boat can set it off. One passenger did not pay attention and their system was going off for a good few minutes. I grabbed a few things from my vehicle and headed up to the decks and took a look around. Snapping some pictures and went to the stern to see the remainder of vehicles load onto the boat. I also stayed back here as we launched. Cover your ears if the horn is going to bother you. After we launched I made my way indoors to find a table and chair to sit at and eat my snack. The seats are comfortable, and when sitting in them you don't feel the motion too much. I was able to enjoy my food and drink before I got up to wander about. Other things to do while on here. Visit the gift shop. Grab a bite to eat or drink in the cafe area. There are also adult beverages available. Take a seat on deck to watch the waves crash and the land in the distance get nearer. Try not to stumble too much with the rocking of the boat. There were several times I almost went down because of this. The day I took the ferry the weather wasn't the best, spitting rain and windy, so that made for choppy waters. Once on the other side, with all of us back to our vehicles, we started to venture into Delaware. Of course, waiting our turn and being guided off the boat. Definitely a unique way to get around and one that cuts miles and minutes off your travel time.

The Soundview Terminal Landing is located at the south end of Soundview Ave in Clason Point Park. Not easily accessible by most but very convenient for access to Manhattan @ 90th, 34th and Wall Streets, once you make the trek. This landing is accessible via the Bx27 and Bx39 buses to the last stop. There is only one ticket kiosk, so downloading and usage of the NYC Ferry app is highly recommended. The crews are extremely efficient with their drop-off and pick-up system and the app aides in avoiding missing the boat because of a line. The schedule runs roughly every 30 mins before 10:00AM and every 50mins after during weekdays and weekend service is also available. On my maiden voyage I found parking by the terminal to be extremely difficult as well as access to the kiosk. The ferry was punctual and the crew worked seamlessly through out the duration of the route. An awesome and faster alternative to the MTA's surface and subway lines with some pretty epic skyline views. Just A Note: No MetroCards accepted. The purchase of a ticket ($2.75 One-Way) grants you a transfer to an additional route. Bikes are allowed @ an additional cost of $1.00 and there is a concession counter on board.

Aaah yes, taking the ferry home on a Friday that also happens to be a prematurely warm and sunny not-quite-spring day. The ferry is too expensive to be a part of my daily commute. Comparing the $5.50 ride from World Financial Center to Jersey City (Paulus Hook) with the $1.75 PATH ride between World Trade Center and Exchange Place, you can see why the ferry is the Rich Man's PATH. Or, the poor man's cruise ship. Even the ferry terminal at World Financial Center is luxurious, at least compared to a PATH station. It's floating, and has a little balcony on the water where you can soak up that precious March sun while you wait for your ship to come in. It even had a nice clean bathroom, if you can handle the motion of the ocean. The PATH can't compare. The ferry ride takes about the same amount of time as the PATH ride (7 minutes from WFC to Paulus Hook). But unlike the five minutes you'll spend on the PATH, you can feel the salty wind in your hair, and the sun on your face, unless of course you get the boat where the upper level has been enclosed. But, still, you can pretend your itinerary takes you to somewhere more exotic than your average PATH stop... maybe Venice. A tourist you're not, but remember that some people travel far and wait a lifetime to glimpse these sights... the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the Colgate clock, the tallest building in New Jersey, the tallest building in New York, cruise ships and tall sailing ships, all that and you can be home in time for dinner.
