The fried cauliflower was delicious, and the stacked beets salad was soooo good, beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The chairs were surprisingly uncomfortable; the cushion was so thin that the springs were poking me, which made it hard to relax during the meal. When visiting New Smyrna and you want to check out a restaurant and have a great experience every one wants to tell you about the two spots almost next door to each other. And they are good but they are the most popular and fill up fast so the wait the tends to be un-reasonable and borderline on bearable. Dinner is not meant to be eaten that early just to avoid the crowds. At RT you CAN get a reservation and the staff is friendly, kind & attentive. I am the type to never order anything on the "Chef's special menu" but the ambience was so warm and inviting, I lost my head a little-bit. I'm glad we did we order the Crustini and it was next level. I thought I was eating on south beach for a moment. Flavors were intense, but not overpowering & it all complemented one another. If you are there make sure you try this appetizer. The bread for the Crustini was fresh not overly hard or stale. The main course I had was perfect. I had the steak au poivre. The sear on the meat was spot on and the sauce was not overly peppery. It let the steak do its job with the seared crust. Chefs veggies were good and the red bliss mash was velvet, smooth. The cocktails here also are amazing! I'm not just saying that my wife order something called the beatnik. You can taste the fresh beet juice. You can tell there was somebody back there pressing them freash. You know how beets usually stains your teeth? This did not! Overall fabulous experience. We even took our kids here and they had excellent choices for kids menu. Very happy over all. We did not try dessert. However we notice on the menu they support local dessert shops in the area with their offerings. Next time we go back we will definitely try them. They have indoor and outdoor seating, we made our reservations for indoor, so happy we did it was pouring so we really didn't get the opportunity to checkout the outdoors but it looked so inviting and romantic as well. We ordered two of the fried green tomatoes appetizers and they were easily the best I've ever tasted. Thick tomato slices, fried crispy, topped with corn salsa and ranch dressing - perfect! For dinner we had a mix of dishes - steak au poivre - medium rare and served with mashed potatoes. A burger with bacon, white cheddar cheese and hand cut fries. Truffle Mac & Cheese skillet. Filet tips with peppers and drizzle. A pear and goat cheese salad with grilled salmon. Pan-seared branzino topped with roasted peppers & eggplant and served over orzo. Both the Berry Bliss and the Echo under the sun were very good. The Berry Bliss is a sweet berry lemonade, but it doesn't taste like soda. The charcuterie board was amazing, combining many different flavors. Service is amazing, everyone is so nice and helpful. Inside is a very quiet, relaxing experience, while outside tends to be more people but sometimes live performances. Everything tastes very homemade. The Steak Au Pouvre was better than expected, perfectly seasoned and great quality. Then we orders the Steak, salmon and burgers. Everything was very good. The weather was a bit chilly so we chose to be inside. They do have heat lamps and blankets. This is officially our new go to date night spot. The food was fantastic, the drinks were delicious, and our waitress Jen was wonderful! This is such a hidden gem with outdoor and indoor seating. The outdoor space had live music and is a fun place to hangout with the inside being more intimate and quiet. The pasta was so lemony and delicious with nice fresh scallops. We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday just after noon. One waitress taking care of the diningroom tables. We asked for straws, which never came, so we went to the bar area to get them ourselves. Perhaps because we were a table of 2 the larger tables seemed to take presidence over us. Anyway, we ordered the Terrace lunch burger and the Fried Green Tomato BLT and a side salad. Waitress never asked if we wanted the side salad brought out first or how we'd prefer the burger cooked ane we never caught her attention to request. So, the salad came out with the BLT and the burger was overcooked for our taste. We noticed the burger delivered at the table of 4 next to us and it was obviously served more medium rare. No one asked how our meals were so we never had the opportunity to say anything. Anyway, it's a cute establishment a bit off the beaten trail. Last night we came to town for the candlelight concert at the Bannon Center. River Park Terrace was right across the street and was the perfect place for dinner. The bartender made me my favorite drink " the Hugo spritz" and it was delicious. We ordered the carrot and brussels sprout appetizer which I could eat every day, it was gone! Parking is plentiful as this is off the beaten path. The ambience is very charming. There's live music, string lights outside, a pleasant hostess and waiters that want to talk to you, if you'd like. They were unfortunately out of the lamb brisket, which I was excited to try. However, we did have the steak which was perfect. For apps we ordered the Brussel sprout but bacon jam on the side and they were dry. So I suggest skip it The buratta didn't disappoint. The mussels were fine nothing to write home about but luckily they were not sandy. The bread was really good and we ate a bunch of it. The chicken fingers and fries for kids were ok. The Mac n cheese was a legit plate no mini portions. The whiskey drink with egg whites was good. The tuna was ok fresh but not impressed. The place is much bigger than it looks from the pictures. If your around and want a nice ambiance go for it. I have nothing bad to say about this place. We sat outside and there were fans that created the perfect temperature. The bathrooms are clean and the inside was popping with people. The live music was just the right volume, not too loud! The singer did a great job! If you ever go, you need to try the gluten-free brownie. It was absolutely to die for. We came in to town for a single evening and decided to spend our dinner here based on a referral from a friend. What a CUTE spot and so sneakily good. Indoors is a little smaller but broken out with a little covered patio and then a true dining space - it felt almost like grandma's house (but bigger). Our server was phenomenal - extremely attentive, gave great suggestions and came by often enough for us to be taken care of without it being too much. Appetizers and dinner were AMAZING. Truly amazing. We stuffed our faces and I'd do it all over again. When we ordered the bread, we thought there was no way that we'd finish it... but don't worry - it was GONE in a flash. Super fresh ciabatta and a great bite with the pesto rosso. Mozzarella fritta - a better version of mozzarella sticks - was to die for. We devoured them as soon as they hit the table and I would have ordered another round if we didn't have huge entrees on the way. Steak au poivre and coconut curry were our dinners - we loved them both. Very happy with the flavors in the dishes and the overall textures. Don't worry, we didn't have anything leftover. For dessert - we were going to skip it - but we saw a chocolate dish go by that my husband was intrigued enough that we had to order. The brunch menu is not very large; however it is filled with sweet and savory to accommodate all tastes. My wife had the Fried Green Tomato BLT, which was served on jalapeño sourdough. We went to Riverpark Terrace for dinner one of the evenings we were in New Smyrna Beach. They welcomed our dog. We had a wonderful waitress that offered us blankets while we ate on the windy, chilly night. Our burgers were tasty. They were a tad overcooked, but that may have been because we ordered them "medium". They were delicious. We were able to walk our dog at the park across the street. Not sure how you know that I went there, but I had the lamb appetizer as my meal and I'm telling you what it was the most delicious perfectly cooked lamb with the goat cheese please don't ever take that off the menu it was spectacular! I talked about it for two days! My friend enjoyed his meal as well he had some kind of steak I can't remember but the lamb was delicious a little pricey for an appetizer but considering I had as my meal I will go get that again for sure! read more

It wasn't crazy busy it took 45 minutes to get our food when my husband finally got his linguine with clams, he got a big bite of sand. One bite mouthful of sand told the waitress he did not want it. She took it did not ask if we wanted anything else when the manager came over she said I'll give you a discount on that meal ! Are you kidding? My husband said I'm not paying for it. We are annual visitors to NSB and usually stick to our favorite familiar restaurants but this year we determined to branch out and try new places and this is a gem of a place. Jamie waited on us and was an excellent waitress- friendly and attentive. We sat outside in the patio area which has a lovely ambiance of its own. We started with the ciabatta bread and shared the pear & goat cheese salad - both were excellent. I had the BBQ boneless chicken thighs with a sweet Korean sauce and a creamy orzo, my husband chose the steak au poivre which had a creamy cognac and peppercorn sauce, French mashed potatoes and stir fried green beans. Both were outstanding! We finished off with the sharing of the carrot cake! This is a wonderful place for dinner and we have now placed it on our list of places to return to next year!
