I first found out about this place last year and decided to give them a try. As crazy as my schedule was, Riverpoint became a shining beacon of hope for my dirty duds. Often times I would drop it off before work, and after work return to find I had impeccably washed and folded clothing. If someone can do my laundry better than me for not much more money, then I hand it over. That said, I am a fan. The service here is relatively inexpensive, and really quite stellar. I don't even need to iron the skirts and blouses, which are returned on hangers all cleaners-style. Awesome. read more

Located in a strip mall so shopping, eating and a nail appointment can all be done while laundry being done. Clean for a laundromat, coin machine for change, lots of washers and dryers, seating and rolling carts. Easy parking. Will return! read more

I had never been to a laundramat until today but since the laundry in my building is closed for renovations, I had no choice. It was clean and the ladies working there were nice and helpful. The dryers were so big and my clothes were dried much faster than I expected (one of the reasons my condo building is being renovated--the dryers were a crap shoot and ate socks). Anyway, I got my laundry done faster than I thought. I did notice that there were quite a few "out of order" signs on the dryers which is not so great on a busy weekend. read more

My review is more out of anger than anything. This used to be my go-to place for laundry. Their machines got the job done (although the last few times I went they had a lot of broken machines). I give them a terrible review because the last time I went, I accidentally left a few pieces of clothing in a drier. My fault, I know. But I went back the very next day figuring that they have a lost and found or a pile of leftover clothes somewhere I could check for my things in... The woman told me "sorry, we gave the clothes to charity". In 24 hours, they gave the clothes to charity? Yeah, right. Then, I asked to speak with the manager, who was of course not there. The woman said she would leave a message and have the manager call back, which of course never happened. When I finally talked to the manager a few days later she said "we take our leftover clothes to the clothes donation box on Ashland and Diversy". Well there is no clothes donation box on Ashland and Diversy (at least not that I could find). So anyway, I will never give them my business again. read more

The place is kept clean...2 women there to run it...one could speak english. I only went to the laundry mat to clean my down jacket and 2 sleeping bags in front loader machines. A smaller front loader that does delicates wasn't working for delicate wash. The only reason I'm writing this review: -selecting warm water resulted in only the coldest water....hot water gave water that was only slightly warmer...just warm enough so you're not in pain putting a finger in there. -This was the case on several machines -When I asked the english speaker...she claimed the machine needs visit from mechanic Strange that there was not sign to indicate there's not warm/hot water...just false advertising...basically, I feel she lied to my face because they are too cheap to turn on the hot water. read more

Fabulous place to do your laundry. I have been coming here for many years. I appreciate Lucy..her attention to detail is superb, she is courteous, kind and professional and super friendly..she treats you like a family member or a close friend..whenever I am there, I am greeted with a smile and if I need help, she is always willing and able with no complaints. I also notice that she is a hard worker, washing and folding laundry and cleaning the place when she is on duty. When Lucy is not on duty ..the place tends to fall apart, Lucy keeps the train rolling. I can't say too much good about the other staff (they tend not to care as much). Lucy has been there for years and her positive attitude and strong work ethic shine, she takes pride in her work. Parking is easy and the facility is clean and affordable. The machines are fine, but the indifference of the staff and the insistence of broadcasting infomercials on all of the televisions, makes this a one star place. Update. This is consistent. On Sunday mornings they run the infomercial channels and will not change the channel at request of patrons. It is insulting to claim that the patrons want to match infomercials and not other programming, such as the Bears game. I posted after multiple weeks of the Shark infomercial and the refusal to make the change to another channel. read more

Clean but that's it. Service nothing but blank stares when I tell why most of my clothes come damper than usual. Not only the washing Machines are garbage; The dryers are over priced, least offer 15 minutes per cycle instead 10. Overall crap management and overpriced for the incompetent service. read more

I visit this place often to do my laundry. I have to say that the staff is great and maintain the place well. It is always clean and anytime there is a issue there is always a attendant available to assist. They have free wifi and 6 TVs as well that you can watch what you want to make the time go by quickly. They have some really hard working staff here and one time they fully refunded me when the machine briefly broke. They had no reason to do that because they machine broke for only a couple minutes. I think it was me who had no clue how to work it. Alice and Trinidad are always hustling there and go out of there way. Great place. read more

Nice clean place. Have visited multiple times at differing hours and always had plenty of access to washers and dryers. Was a bit disappointed to find a sale seminar going on in the back of the laundromat held by people who are getting feedback on their portable washers. Dream wash team was very politely buttonholing patrons to get their feedback on their portable machines. I would think, that at a minimum, you would find this a conflict of interest. I know that I did not appreciate it. read more

We used the drop off service for the first time and some of our expensive clothing was stolen or lost when we went to pick it up. They are very shady and could not even get the manager to call us back or show up to the store to get the problem fixed. read more

This is the cleanest laundromat I've ever been in. It's large and airy so you don't feel cramped. There are several counters to sort and fold your clothes. The are several washers in 3 different sizes. Dryers line the walls and there are many of them. Rita and Christina are diligent workers who keep busy all of the time. Any problems and they are there to listen and fix it. While there is a busy atmosphere it's not rushed or unpleasant. WIFI is available to past the time. read more

I asked the older latin lady for change for a one hundred dollar bill, she said that she did not have it. Caucasian man came in asked for change she went so far as to ask whom I believe was one of the co-owners who didn't speak much english for some change. I have never been so disgusted in my life. The dryers do NOT work. I kept feeding in my quarters and even after 40 minutes on high, about 6 dish towels were not dry. I kept switching dryers and still damp. I left a message for the manager AND called and have gotten no resolution. This place should be SHUT DOWN as a business. read more

I had a table cover for my outdoor furniture that didn't fit in the washer at home. I went to River Point and found well maintained washers and dryers including several of large size, a clean environment and a very helpful attendant, Ms. Trinidad. I am happy that I went there. read more

It's been a couple months since I've moved to Chicago and I was looking for a laundry mat and I went to Elston and they had a sign saying 24/7 that wasn't true. I went to do my laundry in the morning and the dries and the washers are extremely dirty, half of them were broken, and the workers were rude. I asked a question and they gave me a weird look and didn't help much. I only did my laundry there twice and I went looking for anything place and I found this laundry mat. It was way cleaner than the first I went to. I only had time do go in the mornings and thankfully there were nice workers working at that time. They were very helpful. But now I've been going and they weren't the same people. There isn't much help anymore, there's always a lady on the phone and it isn't as clean as it was before. Time to look for yet another laundry mat. There is no longer good service here anymore. read more
