WOW...what a fun area! It reminded me of Chico downtown with restaurants and cute shops! I first stopped in here. It's a cute pub and grill focusing on alot of Irish beers. Very casual atmosphere. I had the shepherd pub tots which were really good. Because I was traveling I had them put the shepherd pie on the side so it would stay better. The crust, the toppings, everything was spot on. We also ordered one of the beer flight samplers and every single beer we tried was really good. We even showed a passport which she refused to look at and said "IDs only". Like a federal ID isn't enough somehow?? We have been there every weekend for the past 3 weeks, never seen this girl, and all of a sudden refuses to serve us because one person has a completely valid ID, and she just wants to cause chaos. She refused to compare our IDs to prove the validity, and refused to budge. It was a valid ID, and the bartender was just being stubborn and didn't want to admit her mistake. It's really a shame because we live in walking distance and we're really enjoying being able to walk down and play pool and have a beer. Now we'll be going elsewhere.

You brought the fun back to Marysville!! I noticed that they really want to please their customers and check on them frequently! Really nice food. Most to go so I don't have to cook! The outdoor seating was perfect for my puppy. They even brought him a dish for his puppy snacks and water. Freddie was wonderful again and the cooks/chefs take pride in what they are serving! Full bar and live music as well. Great experience!

When we walked in, nobody greeted us, they just looked at us and we stood there waiting for 2-3 minutes, then assumed we must be in the wrong area to get seated. We then went through the back door, but that was obviously wrong as well, so we went back to the front and after another couple minutes of us looking around, finally a woman told us to sit anywhere and we would be helped soon. We sat down at a table and 30 seconds later she came over and said "What do you want" and we were confused because we had no menus and no time to decide what we wanted. She went to get us menus and gave us another 30 seconds to decide what we wanted, then passed us off to another waitress because she couldn't answer our questions herself. The next waitress was fine, she helped us and the service was quick. We asked if we could substitute fries for mozzarella moons with the fish & shrimp basket, and substitute fries for onion rings with the burger. She said yes but it will be +$4 for mozzarella moons and +$2 for onions rings. We only got 3 mozzarella moons with the fish & shrimp basket so I would say it's not worth it to substitute those for over $1 each. Now for the food, it looked amazing, I'll give them that! However, it didn't taste great. The fish and shrimp were so bland, they needed a lot of salt and the texture wasn't for me. I love fish & chips and have had it many times, and sadly, this time was the worst fish & chips I've ever tried. The burger was great, though! Kind of crazy to me that it costs $1 to add a slice of cheese, though. Now for the sides, the onion rings tasted almost burnt, definitely over cooked. Not great at all. The mozzarella moons were fine, they were pretty standard and had a nice cheese pull at least. I like that they gave us ranch, ketchup, tartar sauce, & cocktail sauce without charging us extra, so that's a plus. Overall, I left this restaurant feeling disappointed because my boyfriend and I don't go out to eat very often (usually once every month) and I wanted a great experience but it wasn't what we expected. It wasn't the worst experience I've ever had, but definitely not the best, and I don't like leaving negative reviews, but hopefully this can give some insight to someone on my experience here.

That's fine..it just wasn't my vibe. Plenty of tvs to watch sports which is a plus ( big 49ers fan!). If I eat there again I will order ahead of time and pick it up. The musty smell of the inside was a bit of a turnoff ( old building?). I had a bite and took my food to go. I had plans to go to Sopa Thai!

I ordered to go but they have an outside covered area that allows your fur babies!!! I was able to bring my puppy out to the enclosed area with his carrier. So hard to find places that allow dogs ( except Grass Valley..totally cool!). I ordered the Thai shrimp...chicken lollipops and parm chicken wings. All to go ( Ordered ahead ). Because they were not busy outside we ordered a beer and nibbled on the appetizers. My puppy loved it! My fav is the Thai shrimp! Love the sauce on them along with the coleslaw. So ambiance was expected, quiet, slow, empty. Ordered Ahi Tuna - the Asian salad was better than the Tuna. Sear the Tuna harder, reduce the salt on your spice mix, you're taking away from the fish. Let the tuna speak. Ordered the Margherita flatbread - Served with Ranch? Com'on Had a whole half leaf of basil on it too. Chiffonade the Basil. Took a bite and BAM!, at least throw San Marzano tomatoes on there. This is Basic Italian. Either the right tomato or the right mozzarella quality, choose one, makes a world of difference. Service was as good as you can expect, no complaints there. The server seemed either overwhelmed, or overworked. Likely the latter, running a skeleton crew to save money only works for a few months then you get a negative feedback loop in hiring and training costs. Do Better. New management? Focus on your team, absorb the costs, eventually one will fail, the team or the cost. Money is recoverable, people are not.
