Well... initially I was quite pleased with the service but mostly because they had the car I wanted when they were hard to find. But once they've made the sale 6 months ago the service is close to nonexistent. The salesman, GREG THULEMEYER, didn't think to ask me whether I qualified for any of the discounts. After the paperwork was done I noticed they had an educator discount for which I was qualified. I was given a card for RAUL MELCHOR and was told he would handle it. I sent him a copy of my paycheck and he wrote right back that all we needed was the authorization code and he would have Greg send me the link the next day. I never received it. Sent Greg an email that I never received the educator discount. He did not reply. Called to follow up. Greg emailed me the link for the Educator authorization number. They submitted to GM. After 2 1/2 months I emailed the dealership's general manager, TOM BOZARTH, about not being able to resolve this and never received a reply. Texted Greg again to remind him that he said he was going to follow up. No reply. Texted again. He said he would check with his business office. Didn't hear back. Called him. He called back and said the Chevy Bolt wasn't eligible at the time of purchase. I asked to speak to the manager and he said he was in a meeting and would call me back. TOM BOZARTH, general sales manager, didn't call me back. I called back and spoke with Michael Coppolitti. He assured me he would take care of it but that was 2 months ago. Multiple emails, texts and calls and he says the same thing but does nothing. read more

I went in looking for a car, after Toyota of Huntington beach screwed me over completely thinking I'd get better service. The sales manager here is a joke. The guy is arrogant beyond belief. I know of many salesman who think they're superior than just a salesman carrying brief cases in and out for no reason, some thinking they're lawyers, police officers, this guy George tried doing the same. After a back and forth and misinformation from the guy I decided to pull back from running number with him. I believe that a man's word is everything which he gave me, but I still found out he sent my info in to One bank after we agreed he'd shred my information, as he would not give my credit application back. The was more of an "F you" from his end, the smirk on his face made me want to backhand it off. All I'm saying is, people with a little mans complex need to get the hell out of the car business. And the guy Alexander from Internet Sales thinks it's funny to say "a coke and a snickers" after you explain your situation and on what you can afford. Forget these people.. lamens terms. read more

Ron in service was great! He was very friendly, and helped me in and out. I went in for an oil change with my 3 year old, and needed to be in and out within an hour. They made it happen! Both times I've been in it's been pretty quick. There is a kids table, vending machine, and free coffee in the waiting room. Nothing fancy, but it works. read more

Do not try and call the Service Dept. at Riverside Chevrolet. They NEVER answer the phone. On 8/10 I tried to call in because I had questions about dropping off my car for service. The phone rang and was not answered for over 30 minutes. Someone popped up form RC and tried to help me set an appointment on the internet- yet they could not answer any questions? As I was in the Service Office 8/11 - there are no phones ringing? I did speak with the Service Manager and he stated he was not aware of the phone issue? This was my 2nd experience with the same result in 6 months at RC. As I was standing there checking in - another lady came in and stated the same issue I had - as she was unaware that she was going to have to leave her car. Horrible service. My stabilitrak warning came up on my truck so I decided to have it serviced at a Chevy dealership and this location was closest to my job. I schedule an appointment online (super easy to do) and I was glad to hear they had a night drop so that I can drop my truck off past their closing time. I got there around 6:20pm to drop it off (they close at 6) and a gentleman named JAMES WOOD comes out and asks if I need any help (even after they had closed!) and proceeded to help me with the form and took my keys to inspect my truck first thing the following day. We waited for about 20 minutes and MAJEDY FAKHOURI comes up to our table not even properly introducing himself and was more like "confronting" us. He right away made us feel uncomfortable by the way he was flipping the pages inside an old ripped folder. This MAJEDY person, says that my finance banker has told him at "10pm" a different APR from what I had shown him. I then show him my approval letter and it's not what he's showing me. He then says hay he will go and check and see what he can do. He then tells me that my finance banker has rejected the offer unless I get "The EXTENDED WARRANTY"I couldn't believe my ears, I wanted to scream and yell to his face the word "SCAMMER! LIAR & a DECIEVER!" But I remained calmed and I told him I would want the GAP only. I also told him, I would call them and ask, he's face changed and looked worried. He walked away and disappeared, again. I asked For the salesman to call MAJEDY!when he finally came back I asked him to give me the sheet of paper were he was acting as the finance company was requesting for me to accept the extended warranty or they wouldn't approve the loan! He then proceeds to say that he never said that- when I asked for it he made a 360 degree change on his story! He tells me he never said that- he said that KEN had told him that part.I then demanded the sheet of paper he was faking, it was the form were it stated and he had taken back to his office. He said he couldn't give me anything in writing. I said "why?" You were holding a sheet of paper claiming it on there! I then got super heated and began to raise my voice as I was so upset that this person was taking me as a joke or as someone stupid that doesn't know anything. So when I demand that sheet infront of other customers he gets nervous and begins to walk away and says " I'm not selling you the car period!" So, I said it was fine, I just wanted that sheet of paper. I become impatient, so I walk up to the office where he is at and I asked him if I could get that piece of paper as I know that extended warranty is an optional! It even states under my financer's restrictions. Since one of his co- workers was next to him, he began to act as the victim and started claiming I had called him names and everything on the book out at the table! I got so furious I started telling him what a liar he was. And because I started yelling at him, ANDREW KOZAR, not knowing all the situation started vouching for him and telling me to leave and they don't have to sell me a car. I told him I understood that, all I was waiting for paper. MAJEDY told me that he was not going to give me anything. So I began to get more upset and told him that he was a scammer and a liar and what he tried to do to me was illegal. He totally denied it infront of ANDREW KOZAR who claimed to be the general manager, which I doubt because when I said I would call the next day to speak to the real general manager he said "I could do whatever I wanted" but he began to tell me in a rude way that they were closed, they close at 9pm & asking me if didn't have anything else to do at 11pm, and if I didn't have a family to go to. So this so called "general manager" (ANDREW) tells me that they shouldn't even be dealing with me that it was the "used cars" side that had to be doing the process but because they wanted to leave early without completing their job, they had to deal with it. So to my understanding they were making me go through all of this because they were still working at 11pm. I would've preferred for them to turn me away then to play games with me and try to take advantage of me. So, since I kept demanding the form that stated from the finance company the requirement before approving the loan. The "ANDREW" took the file and said "there I shredded everything as he threw it into the shredder. He started to tell me to get out and leave and when he began to be more rude I began to get my camera out and told him I was going to record their behavior. They both calmed down and ANDREW started saying - "it's illegal to record someone so you don't have my permission to record" I began to say that I needed to show the owner and the world what kind of people they are to their customers. He kept kicking me out and I told them I wouldn't leave until they gave me that paper so I can call the finance company to verify that they had sent that. ANDREW then acted as he was calling the police.Then some other rude sales lady came in and said I was inside the office and rudely told me to step out with attitude rolling her eyes as if she was in middle school. I pointed out her attitude and that she should stay out of it because she didn't know what had happened at the table. She told me "she could roll her eyes if she wanted to!" She then closed the office door and we walked away with such a headache and in disbelief. This is truly unbelievable. I hope Karma gets you MAJEDY! I will try to take all the actions needed! read more

First time here and will probably be my last. I made a service appointment for an oil change and was told that it would be one hour. On appointment day I get there early and was told that the person that made the appointment was "wishful thinking" that it would be one hour. He said that I would be 90 minuets. That's ok. We go over the plans that they have for oil changes and I opted for the basic plan which includes a tire rotation. After waiting for 2.5 hours I was told that my truck was complete but they were unable to rotate my tires because I have aluminum rims. I said that is a lie because several of their display cars have aluminum rims. He said, "they don't want to damage them." So a place that sells cars that are 100k plus with aluminum rims are afraid or can't rotate tires on my Silverado... Come on... what a joke. read more

If I could give them a lower review I would. I have a 2001 Tahoe 4door 4wheel LS that I LOVE. But, when I couldn't get it smogged, because "readiness monitors" were not setting, I decided to let "those who know" the vehicle solve the problem. A few weeks prior to me being able to take the truck to them, the battery began to die if the vehicle was left sitting for a few days. I couldn't find a reason for this or a resolution to it, so it reconfirmed my thinking of "let those who know the vehicle fix it"....I would have been better off setting my money on fire! I took my Tahoe to them in January, and SPECIFICALLY cited the smogging issue, a list of requirements that the "smog ref" needed if they could not fix the monitor issue, and that THAT is the reason I AM PAYING THEM to repair my vehicle. I then noticed that my head lights were on, and the vehicle was shut and locked. When I tried to inform the service CLERK to what is happening IN FRONT OF US, he seems utterly indifferent and proceeded to ignore my detailing of my concerns....even erroneously stating in the paper work that I had recently replaced the RADIO when I emphatically stated I am going through BATTERIES and have been replacing them! Long story short, they had my Truck for TWO WEEKS and didn't fix ANYTHING, but did rack up a large charge for NOTHING! I left the dealership WITHOUT a repaired vehicle....NO ability to SMOG it, due to the monitors, and an electrical issue the MAKER OF THE VEHICLE is IGNORANT ABOUT AND CANT FIX!!!!! AFTER SIX MONTHS if trying to get my vehicle smogged, it is STILL not smogged and NO RESOLUTION IN SIGHT. I think I have identified the problem as being the blend doors, in the AC system, and tried to contact the dealer to get a quote to replace them....as a SHOT in the dark, to solve the issue the MAKER OF THE VEHICLE is unable to solve! On 7/24/2018 I contacted the dealership to get a quote on replacing ALL of the blend doors, and after several minutes of waiting on the phone, I was told "they are to busy, and no one is available". So I opted to have them call me back. 24 hours have passed and NO ONE called me back. So I called them today, to speak with someone, ANYONE, that can help me....I was told they are to busy and will call me back! it WAS my intent to get my 2001 healthy and legal, and ALSO purchase a new, possible 2018 LS Tahoe....I can say without a doubt...THIS DEALERSHIP will only receive disdain and bad mouthing from me! I'm sure they are GREAT when you are writing them a large check and handing them money, but the second you have ANY ISSUE expect to get kicked around, disregarded, and attended to on THEIR TIME! This time I decide on a national brand no more imports for now. Still don't like walking up to a dealer where a group of sales people fight to snag the chance of a sale from one another. Not here it felt good to walk around for a few moments and kindly be approached with a genuine greeting Albert Cabral was there but not in a pushy manner nor tackles he went out of his way to seek the vehicle I came directly to view and test out since I had visited their webpage in advance, the vehicle was way way way in the back but no problem after calling three other people to move and bring it out had the chance to test it out after being to 3 other dealers this place will get my business should get the check mid time this week and come purchase the new one thanks Albert for your kind help. read more

***UPDATE*** The manager called my husband yesterday after seeing my husband's reviews. They were very surprised with how we were treated and very apologetic. They wanted to make it right. After going chatting a little bit, the manager was able to come back to my husband and give us the original deal we wanted. We went in, met with Joseph Gotti - by far one of the nicest salespersons I've ever dealt with (and he didn't know what we went through until after). The truck was ready, the papers were ready. Everyone that helped us last night was amazing! They definitely wanted to make it right and I appreciate what they did for my husband! Tony & Joseph - thank you for what you did! The salesman we worked with started out fine. Then after running some numbers we decided to proceed. He came back after taking our information and had us start signing paperwork. Without knowing what was really going on, my husband asked if we were approved. He looked a little confused and surprised. He said, "I assumed your credit scores were 700" so you shouldn't have anything to worry about. He had us start signing before we were officially approved! And who says that, I assume your scores were 700s?! Very unprofessional. At this point, he stepped away to get the approval, I assume as he didn't say. He came back with payments far higher than we wanted. We went back and for a little bit and finally we came to an agreement and settled on something my husband and I were ok with. After some time, he brought out some more paperwork to sign including my credit report as our scores were not 700 so obviously the rate & payment were affected. The salesman then proceeded to tell us that the reason we weren't getting a better payment was my fault. He kept saying it was because of this and its my fault. He never asked what happened or anything, made me feel like I was trash or something. It was extremely rude and unprofessional. He tried to explain an alert on my credit report, but he didn't seem to understand himself, so I don't think he understood himself. Turns out he ran the wrong social security number and that set off the alert he was talking about. I wanted to leave but we decided to wait it out as the salesman kept telling us he was just waiting for the "green arrow" because they were trying to clear the alert. We figured it was already about 3hrs. But once again, he was wrong and after that was cleared he came back to tell us we were then waiting on a tier exception that he previously told us he already had. Not to mention he told us we wouldn't need that as he reduced the price of the truck. He was all over the place, saying one thing and then another, didn't try to explain anything to us. I told him we had never leased before hoping he might explain the difference between that and financing and nothing. I asked if we could buy the lease out and he said sure but wait 6 mos. When I asked why, he just said i tell people to wait 6 mos. Ok? After another hour, it turns out he had never gotten the exception approved and finally he came back and said, "they didn't approve the exception and so were back at the old payment amount". At this point after having been lied to repeatedly I was done. We asked for our documentation and left. He apologized but it was a joke. Now we both have a hard inquiry on my credit report because he had no idea what he is doing. His name was George. There was soo much more that I could go into but really how long of a review do I need to write for you to realize this is not the place you want to go to buy a new vehicle - it was a total nightmare! read more

If I could give a negative five stars I would. We purchased a vehicle from this dealership and all went as expected. However, if you need anything after the sale - they won't give you the time of day. We refinanced our vehicle loan shortly after purchase and had to go to the dealership to initiate the refund for our GAP insurance that was through GM financial & the dealership. We were called weeks later and told that the check was ready, we asked at that time to pick it up. We went to the dealership to get our check and they said it was mailed out (without our authorization), almost a month later we have yet to receive it (most likely because they never mailed it) and have called and left 5-6 messages and do not receive a call back. Let alone, when you call the dealership the only way anyone answers is if you choose "sales" and of course get transferred to no one. Once your sales transaction is complete, that's the end of any sort of service at this dealership. 15/10 would not recommend. I'll update once this is rectified. We NEVER authorized the check to be mailed. read more

Worst car buying experience ever. Me and my mom came to purchase a new 18 Silverado. Our salesman's Felton his manger was not nice at all. He didn't listen to our needs and just said what he could do. We were there with my kids from 3pm to 9pm on 5/12/18. There was a defect on the tonneau cover and was told by Felton my salesman that I can come anytime after on my free day to come switch it out. I came on Friday 6/1/18 as I spoke to salesman the day before and he advised that he would be in to take care of me. After a 40 min drive he wasn't even there. Non of his team members or the manager knew what was going on. The manger at the time pretended to call someone and text as I waited with no response. Very bad customer service as we just spent over 40k on our new truck. I hope this issue will get taken care of. Attached is the photo of the defect and date of purchase on my contract. I went to get my car serviced today and waited in line for about an hour just for them to check in my vehicle. I understand you get busy and short handed but you have 3 lanes to drop cars off for service but no numbering system or check in area. The staff members can't keep track on how people are arriving and I tried to check in but I was instructed to wait by my car and I would be helped shortly. That's all in great if you can keep track on who arrives first but they can't, they have to many things going on at the same time. I had at least 3 cars get helped before me that I know arrived after me. On busy days like this you should really have some kind of check in or numbering system in place. read more

Went to purchase a car we saw on both Cars.com and the dealer website. They had the car listed for $12,000 with a list of all the feature on the car. Once we get there we find the car did NOT have the back up assist camera and listed on both sites. They would not come down on the price due to false advertising. The sales guy told us this was a leader car to get customer in so they can up sale them. Needless to say we walked out. I was not going to pay for features the car did not have. I called and made an appointment to come in for a recall & my alarm going off at randoms hours of the day. I came in and was directed to speak with the service advisor James Wood. I asked how long the repair would take they informed it would be about 4 hours. I told them I wasn't informed it would take so long and asked if there was any way could provide me with a loaner car meanwhile I wait because I wasn't prepared to wait so long. He said no because my warranty is expired. The fact that I am here for something that is required for them to fix & I wasn't informed it would take 4 hours, they didn't care at all because my warranty is over. It's ridiculous! Last year I went to inquire about purchasing a Camaro Zl1. I asked the sales guy there if I could test drive the car but refused because I needed to be qualified first. I'm 37 years old but I don't look my age so he probably thought I didn't qualify or had down payment. Well, just to let you know Chevrolet of riverside, I make over 100k a year and was going to purchase that camaro. Good experience overall with the staff at this dealership last week. We enjoyed some old fashioned haggling and I drove off with a 2013 used SUV. Salesman was Chris. Nice guy. Everyone was professional and easy going. The place is immaculate and so are the cars. No complaints here. I saw the ad on auto trader dot com, called to confirm because I'm 50 miles away, and then I got a ride out there. I had a good feeling about it all the way. The car was cleaner than I imagined. So that's it. Pretty cut and dry. Do your homework, ask questions, and be realistic. These salesman weren't cheesy in any way. When you're nice to people they're usually nice back. read more

I purchased a vehicle from them a while back. After a few hours of running my credit a few times (after I specifically had said no and showed them a pre approved letter from a separate bank) they insisted that financed through them. We made it clear that we would finance through arrowhead (my pre approved bank). I asked over 10 times if the loan would be through arrowhead and they said yes. A month after my car purchase, I called arrowhead to make my first payment and they told me I had no loan opened with them. The dealership went around my wished and got the loan with Bank of America after I signed for arrowhead. I have been trying to obtain paper work regarding my vehicle purchase for 3 weeks now and hav failed to receive anything from them. I HIGHLY discourage you from purchasing a vehicle from them. They have been extremely unprofessional and a lot of shady stuff is going down at this dealership.... read more
