Just a wonderful place for lunch. Had the crab rangoon for an appetizer and then my daughter had the Bulgogi and I had the Crispy beef rice bowl. Both had wonderful flavors and were fresh and hot. I loved pickled yellow radishes. Service was outstanding. I'm just so excited to find this gem. Well worth the trip across the bridge for such a great lunch experience!

Great lunch or dinner spot! The serving size was really good. I had leftovers for dinner and they heated up well. The service was good and I liked the vibe of the restaurant.

I recently visited Riverside Korean with a few friends and the food was absolutely amazing. My friends are a bit of picky eaters but they all enjoyed the food. We opted for the more traditional seating on the floor for the immersive experience. All the dishes were flavorful, hot, inexpensive and good portion sizes. Our server was very pleasant, engaging and helped us to choose meals (which did not disappoint).

In what was once a former mini casino run by the syndicate this restaurant is authentic Korean. The menu is not overly complicated. The choices are simple and the accompanying items like kim chi, cucumber salad, slaw, pickled daikon, are good accompaniments. We chose the bul gogi hot pot. Plenty for two. Service was friendly and just adequate. The rooms are good with and option of traditional floor table, booth and free standing table. A small bar is in the adjoining space.

My gorgeous gf and I love coming here! Their menu is very easy to navigate (vegan options clearly defined). Staff was also so friendly. They had the perfect balance of coming to the table to make sure everything was ok and also letting us enjoy the meal. And everything was so perfectly seasoned. As a note, it is possible to eat at the bar if you aren't able (or forget) to make a reservation.

I think this restaurant is warm and inviting, it is small and cozy? I like that they have a dining area for sitting on the floor with pillows and seating in chairs. There's not a lot of seating but a decent amount on both sides of the restaurant. There's street parking available and sometimes limited. I love the soups and stir fry, especially on cold days. I recommend trying something in every category because their food is high quality. I felt that everything was made well, seasoned well, and delicious. I don't think you can go wrong with any choice. The banchan (side dishes) are also delicious and pairs well with everything. I recommend trying everything at least once or twice. Staff is very nice and very kind here. They're very accommodating and they really take care of their customers. We had a great experience and everything was delicious and well made. I would recommend if you want to try authentic Korean food and a cozy and warm experience. I would recommend for small groups and a casual date or hangout! If you have a bigger party, I would recommend calling ahead for a reservation.

Overall, the dishes were still good with the mix of seafood, tofu, and rice; however the Soondubu jigae and jjampong broths tasted mild and lacked depth of flavor. I appreciated the traditional Korean seating option and service is very friendly

Will say this place is the ideal spot for a date night. You can get a very well sized meal for an affordable price, and I've never tried anything I haven't liked. The staff is very polite and knowledgeable of the menu, and doesn't mind if you mess up pronouncing some meals (we sure did). Will definitely be making a return to Riverside, honestly can't get enough.

I have been going to Riverside for well on 10 years now and they have never disappointed me even one time. The service is always great and the ambiance is amazing. This restaurant literally changed the way I eat. I am now obsessed with Korean food and in my humble opinion Korea has the best cuisine in the entire world. You pretty much can't go wrong no matter what you order but my own personal favorites are the Dolot Sot Bi Bim Bab and Ya Chae Pa Jun. I honestly cannot stress enough how great this restaurant is and how badly you need to try it if you're reading this review. I tried the kimchi stew for lunch today for the first time and was not disappointed. It's mild enough that most people will like it yet has enough zing for people who like spicy stuff. This was also my first time having takeout and I was pleasantly surprised that the BanChan was included. I am definitely a lifelong customer.

This is my first experience with authentic Korean food and it was amazing! Tried several different dishes and was pleasantly surprised by all of them! We got lettuce wraps to put our Bul Go Gi with and it was great! The service was very helpful when we were trying to decide and recommend several things. They have traditional seating in the front dining room and more of a bar open setting in the back. Very cool design - will definitely be back when in town again!

This was my second visit to Riverside and it was just as good as my first visit - maybe better! The corn tea was interesting and tasty, and the Duk Bokki was amazing!

Thoroughly enjoyed this place! Tried to go last year but the wait was too long. We went on a weekday evening and we were seated right away. Service was very friendly! We shared one of the hot pots together and for the money we paid we got a lot of food. We could not take it all home but they did offer to let us. It just tasted very fresh and we really had a good time. Ambiance is really cute! They have a place where you can sit on the floor and your table is at floor level. Very authentic. It's easy to park nearby on the street or there is a garage literally half a block away that is also very cheap. Definitely will return!

    Bibimbap

Fantastic atmosphere and phenomenal food. Everything I have tried on the menu has been great, but it has been hard not to get the bibimbap every time I go because it is so good.

Ordered green tea, a Jade Dynasty cocktail and pot stickers to enjoy while we perused the menu (including the picture book!). The pot stickers were delicious! More like meatballs inside, served with a I-don't-know-what-this-is-but-it's-delicious sauce. We ordered and were pretty quickly delivered our mains: How Fun noodles (level 2 spice) with chicken and Pepper Beef (level 3 spice). Both were outstanding! The sauces on both were savory and delicious. The noodles were great - not slimy like they can sometimes be but firm yet delicate. The chicken was tasty. The pepper beef was tangy and tender with a nice balance of peppers and onions. Serving sizes big enough for lunch the next day. Vibrant decor made the place really feel alive and servers were friendly and efficient. We found street parking but I assume this part of Covington gets busy on weekend nights so allow a few minutes to find a spot. Bonus tip: stop at DelGardo's down the street and get a couple cannoli for dessert. Perfect end to a delicious meal!

Restaurant was crowded but we were sat immediately. Service was good - not super attentive but we were able to order quickly. I had to ask for more water throughout the meal and then they brought checks and boxes before we asked while we were still eating. We ordered the dumplings, orange chicken and how fun noodles. They have a spicy scale of 1-10, I opted for the 5 on the how fun noodles, and they were spicy!! Made me wonder what a 10 would taste like. Dumplings were good - though the bottom broke on them while we were eating them. Definitely homemade! My daughter loved the orange chicken / it also had cucumbers which she didn't love. My noodles were okay - nothing memorable in terms of flavor and very spicy. Overall a bright, well themed restaurant but I don't think I'd go back for the food.

I remember we'd had a really rough day and Max read the vibe. Without being overwhelming, Max just made dinner a wonderful experience. Thanks, Max. You're good people. The entire food scene was great that night. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Even though this was a while back, I remember we took leftovers home (which I NEVER eat)... that night, I ate them! I remember being impressed by the amount of take-out and doordash that was lined along the counter. Kanji OTR is solid. We'll look forward to visiting again!
