It was different and seriously delicious!! My daughter-in-law had the mac 'n cheese with chicken strips. It looked amazing. The portion was so big, she had to take half of it home. The salads are huge and one of those will be my next choice. This bar as been around for years. (the owners retired) There is live music often and there are two area with tables, one in the primary bar room and another where the band would be. There are also booths along the back wall. The bar was clean and the new owner, Caleb, was very friendly. I bet people don't think of George's as a lunch or dinner destination, but I highly recommend it.

Last two glasses were having less sake than first glasses we were provided, probably because people who already drunk something would not notice the difference. It's ok to have expensive alcohol pairing with high end dinner but in this case the sake was very regular. By the way, at bar 10 steps away from the Dark room (same hotel, same floor, same the floor area) the same sake did cost $23 for two glasses. Well... I understand people try to run business and earn money but everything should not cross some decency borders. These guys did cross the line in my opinion. Alcohol prices are not mentioned in Menu by the way. I do not recommend this place not only due to drinks pricing policy but due to "ok" food/service/price ratio

I realize that, for some people, the Buy One, Get One promotion is a big draw. However, I suspect that the menu prices are inflated to offset the BOGO savings, so it doesn't end up being much of an actual benefit. My wish is that they would focus on improving the quality and consistency of the food and charge prices that appropriately cover their costs while still allowing them to make a profit. I don't think we'll be coming back anytime soon, which is sad because there is so much to like about the location and atmosphere.

NO WONDER TICKETMASTER REFUSES TO SELL TICKETS TO THIS VENUE BECAUSE THIER POLICIES ARE SELF MADE AND SELF IMPOSED!!! Rudest/Worst Employee's On The Planet! Now you can't even give your bother and his wife tickets! If the Box Office sees this, they legally have a right to void your tickets and cancel your order!!! Can you imagine? Strange but TRUE! Went to see the Moody Blues last week. Nothing but problems from the employees who work there! Are these people paid to be the rudest employees ever, who get off by ruining peoples enjoyment of the show who pay for tickets? 1st - My brother who lives in Lakeshore, IL, came up to the show to meet me and my wife, AND THESE Riverside Employees CANCELLED HIS SEATS AT THE BOX OFFICE, AND REFUSED TO GIVE HIM A REASON! What the heck? This guy working in the box office said that since he came from out of state and he was going to give me, his brother, a pair of tickets, THIS WAS ILLEGAL AND THEY HAVE A RIGHT TO NOT GIVE TICKETS TO PEOPLE WHO BUY THEM! WHAT A DISGRACE! My girlfriends and I Just returned from seeing Tori Amos tonight here! She put on a awesome show! Only wish the venue employees and the venue bathrooms were as classy! We drove down 3 hours and once we got there, nothing but problems that started at the door. The 4 of use had dresses and heals on, and the temp outside was 85... Once we walked in, their security guard continued to frisk me! Can you imagine? A light dress on and they "needed" to "frisk" me! Let me tell you, I freaked! My girlfriends asked what the hell are you doing, and he said it was "his job!" Can you imagine? Wearing a light dress, heals and showing some legs meant this guy had a right to frisk me? Needless to say, my girlfriends backed up and went thru another door! Now can anyone please explain WHY? So what a great start to a great show hey!? Then we had to wait 15+ minutes for a drink in line; and they screwed up the order! We then turned around, and guess who was actually INSIDE THE VENUE? A male Milwaukee Police Officer in full uniform walking thru the crowd! This guy was smiling, looking, and seemed to have his mouth drooling at every good looking lady he seen, while he was looking them up and down! Since when do Milwaukee Police Officers go into venues and drool at all the ladies; especially a Tori Amos concert? Could it be because they know Tori's fans are mostly females, who were abused, and they were checking out their next victim? Just saying... We went to use the bathroom, and it smelled like it was never cleaned. There was no toliet paper and one of my girlfriends had to hand me hand towels under the stall! Wow! Wasn't this a Great Venue? If this is one of the best venues in Milwaukee, it's a joke! You let creepy guys work the doors, and they look like STALKERS OR SEX OFFENDERS! When did the Riverside Theater hire Jeffery Dalmer's brothers to work here, or is it because they are the owners kids? Then, they NEVER seem to clean the bathrooms, OR make sure their's toilet paper in the stalls! I would not recommend this venue for any female or young lady! They need to clean up their act, and I would not recommend this venue to any homeless person, because it would be too dirty for even them! Wake up Milwaukee! Somethings not right there! AWEFUL! Seems Y*lp removes any negative comments about this venue, so that says alot about them, and their so called honest-based website... If people can't leave an honest opinion on something, and they do not like it, it seems they delete it out to hide any problems... Talk about censorship... I went to the Tori Amos concert about 2 months ago, and they deleted out my previous comments. Why? So here they are again... Lets see, I and 3 of my girlfriends drove down 1 1/2 hours and we were dressed in heels and dresses/skirts. When I went into the venue, they had a male security guard, and he proceeded to tell me that he "needed" to frisk" me for illegal items. Lets see, the temp. outside was 85 and I was wearing a light dress and a purse! Let me tell you, I freaked, but wouldn't you? I asked what the heck are you doing and he just smiled like a freak, who liked ladies! The manager seen this and came over and said that he is just doing "his job!" My girlfriends freaked and went thru another enterance... Inside, we waited for over 10 minutes for drinks and they were wrong, and used rail booze... We turned around and we had a Milwaukee police officer in full uniform smiling, looking all the ladies up and down. Got to our seats and one was wet and stickie, so we all had to move down a seat. When we went to the bathroom, the stalls did not have any toilet paper and my girlfriend had to hand me hand towels under the door, so isn't this a great venue....? Old venue with seems like many issues at hand... Tori, you need to know this because please do not play there again. Having a manager allow a freakie doorman getting a cheap pat down from a 22 year old lady, in a summer dress, and the manager run over and say that is was ok for him to do it... Well, you make the call... I'm sure this site will remove this comment, as they did it before; right after the show that I posted the exact same thing! Tori Amos was Great! Love the lady and a great role model! Next time Tori, Do Not Play Here! First, I didn't know until later that I was overcharged on my credit card. I went up to the window and bought 4 tickets, and I just go home and seen they charged me for 5! I thought they were 49.50 each but they gave me 39.50 tickets, so the price was about right, but they turned out to be cheap seats! Then, this guy behind the window only gave me 4. Once I got home, I looked at the receipt and it said he charged me for 5! So seems they have a guy behind the window who seems to be pocketing money off the credit cards! They were upper balcony and the seats were hard, like someone sprayed something on them to make them stiff, so we all moved over 1 seat. The bathroom up there smelled like pee, and I had to hold my breath, and the floors were sticky when we walked on it. So other then getting ripped off by the guy behind the window when we bought the tickets, the hard cushion, and the bathroom thing, Tori played an great set. So please Tori, next time around to Milwaukee, do not play here again! Please! read more

Parking is nearby with free street parking a few blocks down and nearby one block affordable paid parking! Staff are always helpful, whether that's at the bar Or when you're finding your seats. Great Audio sound system and the size Of the theater is not too big and not too small, just the right size so you're still able to see The stage!

The tables are off to the side of the large hall, at the top of the escalators, and are close to other diners. The good points are that the pricing is appropriate, the menu varied; you can choose the Prix Fixe meal for a set price. But reservations are required so plan ahead. We had various dishes: Chicken Piccata, Buttermilk Fried Chicken Cobb Salad, Crispy Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich, Side Caesar Salad with Chicken, and a Chicken Veg Soup with Orzo. Each of us enjoyed our meals fully and the servings were not too big but definitely filled us up. There are many restaurants in the theater district, but for convenience this one is hard to beat.

I've sat in the balcony and in the orchestra, there are no bad seats. Speaking of seats, they are quite a bit roomier than you would think! There are bars on all the floors and plenty of bathrooms. The lobby area has floor to ceiling windows allowing for lots of natural light to shine through. We are so lucky to have such a beautiful theatre and wonderful orchestra in Milwaukee.

The stage, the audience seats, balconies, all wonderful. There was great attention to all the details. We had great seats, Orchestra, 3rd row center. Great sight line to the stage. The lighting was very good. Our issue was with the sound. Not sure if it was the location (too close), the acoustics of the room, or the mixing, but for us the sound was muddled. I think next time we will try to get a spot further back. The lobby area is quite comfortable. And the adjoining lobby the east allows for gathering or special events. The entire place is a GEM. Looking forward to our next visit.

Makes you wonder why you had not done this before. Everybody brings a cooler or a basket with food; and the event organizers kindly ask that you purchase your beverages with the vendors. That's how the can make a profit and support the event (makes sense). Drinks are about $6 per cup. This is my first "Jazz in the Park" and I'll definitely come better prepared next time. Besides my chair, I'll bring a book (for the wait) and snacks! There weren't really many options this time. Happy "Jazz in the Park"! Fun fact: "Jazz in the Park" has its own mascot! You can see it dancing around the park. Great for kids!

You know that feeling of walking in to a dark moody vibe from yesteryear, knowledgeable staff who make you feel at home and cocktails that are top tier? This is also The Estate, but with the bonus component of live music (the best kind of music!). Some of my favorite acts to see here include the soulful Cameron Webb, the organ trio Righteous Rooster, the Commercialists (especially for their annual Charlie Brown Christmas) and more. Such a great variety of sound and styles. Bonus is that online ticketing is very easy and the lowest fees I have ever seen. It is not your typical ticket master / live nation extortion pricing. I highly recommend supporting this venue and their artists frequently.

I've seen mostly local or regional comedians, but there was one show were the comedians were from Los Angeles area. There is a full bar, so plenty of drink options, and the staff has been great, too. I feel like they want to add to the fun their guests have. The venue feels intimate, but it is a decent sized spot and great for groups, dates, or fun with friends. There are very few comedy-only venues, and this is one if them, so be sure to support local comedy!

**July 2025: Evening Visit**…read more I was staying in Milwaukee, but saw on Instagram that that the city of Tosa was hosting a Independance Day Drone Show. Since my friend and I were staying nearby we thought we'd check it out. The Drone Show started around 9:15pmish but there was live music and community performances in the Hart Park starting 5pm (methinks). I believe we were able to park in the parking lot at 7pmish? There were many families who brought picnic blankets, coolers, chairs etc and just enjoyed being outdoors. There were a couple of food vendors available. The drone shoe was fun. They selected images that were very community centered as well as appreciation for first responders. I'm pretty confident 95% of attendance for the event were businesses and families from Tosa. Trying to exit the parking lot was kind of a nightmare, but overall I think this was a very well organized community event!
