We stopped in for the first time because we were in the area and had driven by so many times. We were promptly seated right by the fireplace with a fire running. Ok, not cold outside in May but it really still felt good. We ordered onion rings to start and probably shouldn't have. They were so very good and such a large order that we kept eating and pretty much filled up before our dinner came. The picture here is just of what we didn't eat. The Sheppard's Pie was amazing and served nicely in a little cauldron. Excellent flavor and perfectly tender chunks of meat. The fish and chips was spot on. The only negative being that the fries could have been a touch crispier. Maybe another 30 seconds in the fryer. They even had malt vinegar which seems oddly missing from most restaurants here. We will be back.

I keep coming back. Our Reuben was fine, our bartender was super nice. I think the staff, comfortable location and large bar seating keep us coming back.

Had another great time at Mo's! Had the Farmer Skillet with a yummy CinnaMo Roll. Great service from our waiter. Such a fun spot, especially for St. Patrick's Day!

Went this morning for brunch with a large group! Mo's definitely took care of us, prompt and attentive service, great tasting dishes and very welcoming atmosphere. I hadn't been here in years, but I'm sure to come back again soon!

We have always really liked Mo's and it was our go-to place when we didn't know what we were in the mood for. Unfortunately, our past few trips have been underwhelming. Our most recent visit has been the worst. Busy and loud in the main dining area on a Friday night. Positive that they're busy, right?! We ordered drinks then our food. Our server didn't seem to care much about being there but wasn't rude or anything. Asked for a bowl of soup (server asked if we wanted it first, which we said yes). Within 3 minutes (literally), our burger and French dip were brought to our table. Pretty disappointing to know it was likely microwaved. A few minutes later, our server walked out with our bowl of soup. The food tasted okay, but not great. Overall, on a busy Friday night, we were probably out within 35-45 minutes. We always liked being able to enjoy a pint and the ambiance. Needless to say, we are not in a hurry to go back.

Excellent food and service. Great place to go for dinner with the family after a long day at the zoo across the street.

We generally like to mix it up and go new places but find ourselves coming back here again and again. Staff here has been here a long time and are very friendly and efficient. My go to meal here is the fish sandwich. Easily the best in the city. It's offered every day on the menu. The fried chicken and wings here are also top notch. All the sauces are homemade and they change frequently. There isn't anything on the menu that i've tried that I haven't enjoyed. Potato pancakes , which are also offered every day , are some of the best in the city. Friday's feature a splendid fish fry. And on sundays , the ham sandwich deal is excellent. Great place to grab dinner or lunch or a cold brew. Tons of different menu options for people to enjoy. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Used to love this place like crazy…read more. Today, the bartender let us know we could sit wherever we'd like, and then we waited 5 minutes. Not a big deal, 5 minutes is good. She returned to our table to take our drink orders, and then we waited 10 more minutes for our actual server to take our order. I don't fault the bartender, she was great. The menu is not nearly as good as the old menu. A lot of the old corn beef specialty plates like the McRoberts Plaid are long gone, and my corned beef hash plate had no sides included (said so right in the menu), so when I looked for a list of their side items on the menu, there was no "sides" section, so I asked for some bacon. The server didn't know how to ring in a side of bacon. Wha? That's gotta be easy, no? My wife got the Reuben sandwich and chips. For the price, we thought we'd get some high quality, possibly house-made chips..what did we get? Ruffles. Meh. Waited about 15 minutes for our food (not bad), but because we waited so long for her to take our order, we both ran out of beverages halfway thru our meals. Had to wave our server down because she just never returned to ask us if we needed anything else. I know waving down a server to some seems rude, but I was desperate for a refill on an empty glass that was empty for many minutes. After the meal was over, our server didn't return again, so I again had to wave her down to get the check. She didn't return for us to pay the check, so another bartender eventually came over to finish the transaction. Total time spent getting breakfast at noon at a half filled McBobs was an hour and ten minutes. That's kind of a long time for breakfast for 2. At least they don't out the mandatory tip on anymore. Owners: Look at the old McBobs menus and consider reintroducing some of the classic breakfast items. This was not nearly as good as the old menu. And please, if you're short staffed, step in. Thanks!
