We contacted the office regarding a legal matter and were relaying information that had previously been provided to us by Kirk Tarman. We were simply trying to obtain further clarification and better understand some of the information we had received. During the conversation, however, Linda seemed to quickly lose patience with our questions. Her tone abruptly shifted, and she ultimately informed us that the office would not be taking our case. To be very clear, the rejection of our case is NOT the issue here. A law firm has every right to determine which cases it chooses to accept, and we completely respect that decision. Our disappointment stems from Linda's hostile demeanor and the way she handled the conversation leading up to that decision. When someone contacts a law office regarding a potentially stressful legal situation, professionalism, patience, and respectful communication matter. Intake staff often represent a prospective client's first impression of a firm, and unfortunately, this interaction reflected very poorly on the Law Offices of Kirk Tarman! In retrospect, we're actually thankful this interaction occurred before we invested additional time and money into retaining the firm's services. If asking reasonable questions during the initial stages could result in such an abrupt change in tone and demeanor, it left us concerned about how future questions or case-related inquiries might have been handled had we become clients. No client should feel as though they need to walk on eggshells when communicating with the people handling an important legal matter!! Based on our experience, I would strongly encourage prospective clients to pay close attention to how they are treated during the initial intake process or avoid Linda at all costs! I rarely give 5 stars on anything so this is a huge exception. And I'm really impressed and…read morehumbled. At about this time last year, my fiancee and I were in an auto accident coming back from a friend's holiday party. I was driving and there weren't that many other people on the road close to Diamond Bar. What wound up happening was a mistake by another car that didn't see me. I went around a white Dodge truck and went to merge back into the lane I had just left. There was a grey Cadillac in the adjacent lane that hadn't moved. As soon as I merged back, the other car started to merge too. They couldn't see me because I was likely in their blind spot, but the driver merged without any blinker or signal. I tried to get out of the way but I couldn't and crashed into me. I lost control of my car and wound up hitting the guardrail. From the impact of the accident, I was left with a broken collarbone, dislocated shoulder, and a lingering headache that later turned out to be a mild concussion. The damage was too much to deal with immediately afterward, since it hurt to breathe and I could only effectively move my left arm at the time. An ambulance came and took me to the hospital in Pomona where they put my shoulder back in its socket, repaired my collarbone, and gave me a lot of pain meds. My fiancee only had cuts and bruises, thankfully, and she walked away without any real physical damage or lingering injuries. It took time, but I knew I needed to lawyer up for this. I knew the cost of the treatment was going to be expensive, so I looked for a car accident attorney in the Los Angeles area and came upon Daniel and the Law Group through a friend of mine. He was very helpful in everything he did. One of the first things he said to me was that he promised he would bring me everything I needed, and he meant it. He always kept me updated on the progress of the case and he didn't make any decisions without informing me first.
