Food 10/10 from their appetizers to their desserts, it's hard to find a bar that's known for their food but this place is that Drinks 10/10 this place had great cocktails and mocktails and it's a bar with beer on tap! So impressed Seating outside and in Great service!

What a gem amidst a myriad of great food/drink options in Phoenixville! Rivertown Taps is known for their pour-your-own tap wall (including wine and cider!) but boasts great cocktails and liquor options as well for guests that don't love beer. In addition to high quality drinks, Rivertown has an EXCELLENT food menu! We had the hot honey duck wings, the prickleback burger, the chicken sandwich, the mortadella burger, and the bucatini carbonara. Dishes were hot, fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious. You can even order a pickleback shot as an add-on for the pickleback burger. Service was also excellent. Our server, Graham, was helpful in making decisions between menu items and checked up on us regularly during our meal. Can't wait to go back to Rivertown Taps!

Awesome restaurant. Great service and delicious food. Will 100% go back there again. Next time I really want to try the pastas. These guys can cook back there

Nice dinner spot for little ol' downtown Phoenixville! I was pleasantly surprised by the upscale dishes for a brewery-esque establishment (although the tap-as-you-go beer cards are a GREAT feature). We loved trying the different apps and the burger was pretty good! A fun, centrally located spot for a good bite to eat.

Okay so I didn't have a good brunch experience here.... At all. BUTTTT we came back two years later because people raved about the dinner. Let me say everyone said "get the venison rigatoni ragu" or whatever but I went for the carbonara and omg. It was one of the greatest things I've ever tried. Delicious. Three of us got it we all loved it and it was defffff the best plate on the table by far. Would come back again just for this (Its seasonal so sad :/ ).

I came here with coworkers for a happy hour. I love the variety of drinks. Their cocktails are really good and they have a self pour wall with beer, cider, and other drinks. The drinks are good, but the food is the biggest reason I'll keep coming back. Over a few visits, I've tried: - Mexican Street Curds - Hot Honey Duck Wings - Kimchi Grilled Cheese - Harvest Grilled Cheese - Donuts Everything I've had has been fantastic. The Mexican Street Curds are my must try dish every time I go. They rotate the menu, so I hope they don't take them off. This is probably my favorite restaurant in the area. I'll be back next time I travel to the area for work.

I had the large and packed with lump meat crab cakes, delicately fried, accompanied by creamy mashed potatoes and perfectly cooked asparagus. My friends had a pasta and sausage dish, a pasta and crab in a red sauce and a wild mushroom ravioli. Everything was really delicious, perfectly spiced and piping hot! I had been for lunch a few weeks earlier and had an amazingly yummy cucumber wrap with a smoky salmon stuffing along with an excellent Caesar salad. The service was lovely, attentive but not intrusive and the waitress remembered my daughter's birthday with a candle on her carrot cake. The room was quite nice, gorgeous old exposed brick walls, high ceilings and windows onto the street for people watching. Don't forget it's BYOB. And If you haven't been I highly recommend and if you haven't been in awhile, definitely keep it in mind.

Our server, Lily, did not…read moreinform us that hashbrowns were actually hash brown patties, and the home fries looked much better on my dining partner's plate. They brought me out some of those instead, as I am not a fan of patties that make me look like I'm eating at McDonald's, but the home fries were quite oily. We were there a very long time before our order was taken, and then to receive our meal. They seem to be understaffed, so our server seemed overwhelmed. It was hard to get coffee refills, which is one of my pet peeves when I go out to breakfast, as I like coffee very hot, so refilled frequently. I also requested my English muffin dry, but it came out loaded with butter. Be forewarned that they don't warn you about up charges when telling you what item choices come with the meal. Would I have minded paying extra for things like an English muffin or multigrain bread? No. But I do expect to be told ahead of time. (They charge extra for multigrain bread???) The owner removed it from the bill when questioned, but she was not pleasant about it. She tried to argue certain things and say she knows the server told us, despite her not being there when we ordered. This is not a good way to win over a new customer who had not been there before and doesn't know anything about your place. There are a lot of very good breakfast places in the area, and I go out to breakfast frequently (as you can tell from my many breakfast reviews). It's doubtful I will return again as I did not find the place friendly. The Collegeville Diner is much closer to me if I want a diner, and there are so many other places where the service is very friendly and quick. This is not one of them. The owner did make adjustments to the bill, but was not nice about it. (They seem to make a big deal about using Dave's Killer Multigrain bread, see owner's response to this review, which I've never had and don't care about. Who tells you that multigrain is one of the choices and then charges you more after the fact because you chose it?) You can go to Nook & Kranny and get fresh baked bread from local LeBus bakery without any extra charge. For my dining partner, it was her second time here and she had a negative experience the first time, where service was also slow and her food arrived cold. The only reason we gave it a try was that she said it was very busy at the time, so our logic was that it must be pretty good if it was that packed. It was not packed this time and service was still not great and the food was not good enough to offset the service. We have no desire to give it a third chance.

Everything was made in house and was delicious! My friend ordered their chicken croquettes same entree. The bread and rolls they brought to our table were also homemade and delicious. We also found out every dessert they serve is homemade as well. The entrees also came with a fresh salad and a vegetable of your choice. What a great meal! When the check came the total bill came to $43. Unbelievable. But it gets better. They offer a ten percent discount to veterans and police officers. We now have found a place that serves and prepares good food at an unbelievable price. The waitstaff served our food promptly and they were pleasant. We will be back. Folks, give this restaurant a try.
