After a short wait, the manager stepped in, apologized, and got us seated, which I really appreciated. From that point on, the service was excellent. Everyone was attentive and helpful, and I especially want to shout out the food runner, who was personable and made a great impression. One thing that could have been handled better: our server took our drink order but never mentioned happy hour. When we later asked for the menu, we were told it was only available at the bar. Since I use a wheelchair for mobility, getting onto a bar stool would have been difficult, so I felt that a more accessible accommodation should have been offered. The chicken lacked the crispy texture it was advertised to have, and the brisket was bland and without flavor. The sandwich was also supposed to come with truffle fries, but instead we were served cold, plain fries. After mentioning it, the solution was to bring us a side of truffle oil and Parmesan cheese and ask us to mix it ourselves. The service was equally disappointing. We asked our server twice for drink refills, but she never brought them. We eventually had to flag down another server just to get our beverages refilled. Overall, this was a frustrating dining experience from start to finish. Between the poor-quality food, unfulfilled promises regarding the bill, and inattentive service, this restaurant fell well below the standard I would expect from a Miami establishment.
