We ate here on Thursday evening. We like the idea of an open air restaurant on the water. It was perfect. We sat at a bar top overlooking the water and watched the sightseeing boats heading out for the sunset cruises. We started with a 1/2 dozen Gulf Oysters and a couple drinks. My wife had the House Sauvignon Blanc and I had the Spicy Margarita, which was excellent. For dinner, my wife had the Key West Banana Leaf and I had the Daily Fish Market and chose a Blackened Grouper with Pineapple Salsa, Jasmine Rice & Sweet Plantains. The food was delicious. Walking around Tin City we had to make a decision which waterfront restaurant to eat lunch at. We asked a few of the employees at the shops what they recommend and overwhelming response was Riverwalk. Sat directly on the river deck watching massive boats pass by including groups of pelicans. The server was very nice and explained a few items on the menu. Full liquor bar with ten craft and domestic beers on tap. Finally ordered a Grilled Grouper sandwich with crispy fries and a dill pickle. The fish was plump and fresh. Left the pickle for the pelicans. Great place for fresh seafood with amazing views. The gender assigned bathroom is not inside of the restaurant but just outside the entry doors for public use. read more

Nothing better than sitting out on the dock with my fish tacos and cocktail watching the ships cruise by on the water. The server was very nice and attentive. The two fisherman were cutting up fresh caught fish a few feet from my table and the seagulls were fighting over the scraps. Not inexpensive but beautiful views. read more

This is a relaxing restaurant with a view. It was hot and time for a drink. I ordered a classic margarita and it tasted great. It was just what I needed after a bit of walking. We had to wait a little while for service. Tbey were not that busy but it is what it is. We decided not to eat here. The food looked ok, just not that exciting. I would say to check this restaurant out after visiting Tin City. It is a nice place to unwind after looking around the shops. read more

When visiting Tin City, Riverwalk is one of very few restaurants on the premises, but I dare say it's the best one! Located right on the water, you get a perfect view of boats coming and going. The menu is heavy on seafood, which is expected, but there are some beef and chicken dishes as well. The prices were a little high for what you got, but not crazy. Remember, you're paying for the ambiance and the view, in addition to your meal. I got the Riverwalk Shrimp Nachos ($16). It's actually an appetizer, but I knew I wouldn't be able to finish a full meal, so I opted for something a bit smaller. It consists of tortilla chips, jack cheese, green chiles, sour cream, salsa, and "fire cracker" shrimp. It had just the right amount of kick and was very flavorful; I just wish there had been a few more shrimp. Service was friendly and quick. We were a group of 6, and our server was on top of everything for us. I would not only love to return to Naples, but this restaurant as well. We came off season - the staff was attentive and the food quick and fresh. After a long day a fishing, a dinner dockside was exactly what the doctor ordered. They had daily specials, so we started with a daily appetizer, then on to entrees and conch fritters on the side. Nothing was special, but nothing was bad. It was exactly as advertised with no kinks. Riverwalk was good but not great. I think it fits well in Tin City, slightly over priced and an easy grab for tourists. Lots of outdoors/deck seating with electronic shades that can be quickly closed/lifted in case or passing showers. The views are of the adjacent port. We visited during the off season around 7pm and were seated immediately. The menu items we tried left a lot to be desired. The oysters rockafeller tasted like they just had some spinach dip slapped on top and broiled. Coconut shrimp was a very small portion of 4 shrimp. Conch fritters were hush puppies that didn't elevate the conch experience. I really liked my Mahi entree and thought the plantains were a nice addition to the meal. I asked for extra pineapple salsa and that was a good idea too, to enhance the flavor profile. My aunt liked her mango ribs and said the meat fell right off the bone. I did not love my coconut margarita, did not finish it. Though I did appreciate the lime and orange garnish. Prices felt a little bit high proportionate to the quality. We were seated quickly, had our orders taken promptly, and the kitchen sent out the food quickly (my seafood risotto was still steaming!). The cheesy risotto appears multiple places on the menu, and they are good at it. The vegetables are there for color, not as a major component of the dish, so when I had the leftovers for lunch the next day, I added carrot sticks. Next time I would order a side salad. Hubby had the mango BBQ ribs, which were fine. The fries are the nubby kind that Burger King sells. The real disappointment was the hibiscus blackberry bellini mocktail, which tasted like colored water. The sunset margarita looked nice and tasted okay, but the pour was light. You can watch the pelicans and the tiki boats on the river inlet while you eat. Staff were helpful. Gender-segregated restrooms just before the restaurant entrance. Good luck finding parking; there is an overflow lot a short walk from Tin City. read more

We all have to agree That tin city is geared towards tourist. And was expecting the same at this restaurant. But it was better than expected, Very rustic, casual atmosphere on the water, Very nice service, I had their famous fish tacos, which aren't really a culinary challenge for any chef, but these were good generous piece of fish and what can you say about lettuce and a tortilla wrap? I'm honestly confused how this place has good reviews. Either I showed up on the worst day ever, or some of y'all have never had properly seasoned food. I ordered the "jerk" chicken sandwich... and I'm still trying to figure out where the jerk part was. It was just a plain, bland piece of chicken. No spice, no flavor, nothing. Even the tomato tasted like it gave up on life. The burger came out so rare it was basically still negotiating with the grill. It was sliding around on the plate like it had somewhere else to be. The Pepsi? Completely flat. Zero fizz. Just sad sugar water. The tacos were there. Not offensive, not good, just existing. If you plan to eat here, I suggest bringing your own seasoning, your own soda,and maybe your own joy because the waitstaff will take care of removing whatever's left of that. The service here was excellent! The food was good. It is exactly what you expect it should be. I loved that we were right on the water outside. The view is gorgeous! I also didn't need a reservation on a busy Friday night and was seated right away. I love that they had a LOT of room for large parties as we like to take a lot of friends. It was our first time and night checking Tin City out, we started looking for a place to eat for dinner and this place had some really good reviews and menu options. We were able to sit by the water which was nice even at night. Since it's covered and it's basically inside, you aren't really cold. We were able to see about five different planes arriving at Naples airport since it's very close by, the view of the water and some boats was quite nice, I bet it would be lovely in the daytime. Our server was efficient and attentive, he told us which items were the most popular on their menu. If you're looking for a great seafood restaurant this is it! We decided to try out the Stone Crab bisque to share for two which was perfect for a rainy slightly chilly FL night, as my entree I went with their famous grouper tacos which comes with a small side of rice & beans, it's two enormous pieces of grouper in each taco with the most delicious sauce, it was very delicious and well worth it, I would definitely get both again next time we come back! My boyfriend went with the build your own daily fish market and got the blackened snapper with sweet corn, english pea, and mushroom risotto, he said it was delicious and again they provided him with a big portion he ended up taking some leftovers. Restrooms are located as soon as you walk out of the restaurant on your right in the actual Tin city shop areas. We were able to find a good parking spot since it didn't look too crowded at the time but we have a feeling it can get very busy and hard to find parking at times so keep that in mind. We look forward to coming back and trying out other seafood items on their menu. read more

In short, Naples has no shortage of excellent dining options--unfortunately, this wasn't one of them. Save yourself the frustration. Highlights: Our waiter was pleasant and did his best in a difficult situation. We were seated at a table with a beautiful waterfront view. Lowlights from our recent restaurant visit: We ordered a few entrées to share, and our waiter never mentioned that the restaurant doesn't split plates. Not a big deal--just something that would've been helpful upfront. After about 25 minutes (totally reasonable), a "manager" came out to inform us they were out of mashed potatoes...which, apparently, "happens all the time"--even though it was the featured side for their special that night. Confusing, to say the least. Even more surprising was his tone: rude, defensive, and oddly confrontational when we simply asked for alternative sides. His response? "I'm doing the best I can!"--which felt unnecessary and out of place. Meanwhile, our food sat under a warmer drying out. When it finally arrived, most of the sauces we ordered were missing, sides were absent (except asparagus), and everything was brought out separately and dropped on the table with zero explanation. When we asked what went with what, we were told--again rudely--that since we were "sharing," it was being served "family style" because that's what we wanted, RIGHT? ". No-No as a matter of fact it wasn't. The result? A chaotic table of mismatched dishes and a lot of confusion. When the sauces did arrive, the key lime butter resembled a gelatinous dessert topping rather than a sauce, and both the swordfish and grouper were so overcooked they were like fish jerky. Another entrée had gone cold by that point. We eventually asked to speak with a manager--thankfully, the actual manager came over, was kind, and genuinely tried to make things right. He even admitted the first "manager" isn't a strong communicator...and had "been called an a-hole two times that day" which is concerning given his role. While we were offered a free dessert, 20% off, and one entrée removed, the final bill only reflected a standard 20% discount (which appears to be a public coupon anyway). read more

Nice place with great view of boats going in and out, very busy and attentive waitstaff on Saturday lunch of art fair. I've been craving a good grilled snapper, so I ordered it with key lime butter. Unfortunately it was well-overcooked so I had to drown it in the tasty butter since it was so dry. Jasmine rice and sweet plantain on the side were a nice pairing. My friend got the Key West bake and it was moist but bland. Overall a decent meal but I'll have to look elsewhere for a good snapper. Our waiter was great, very patient with large family next to us, where an entitled grandma didn't find her coconut chicken acceptable and sent it back even though it was what she ordered. Enjoyed an early happy hour dinner here on a Thursday night. We were seated by the water. Not a lot to see but the breeze was lovely. It was not too crowded but the area around the restaurant was mostly closed as they were recovering from Milton. Their happy hour deals on food allowed us to enjoy a tasty app of coconut shrimp. The clam chowder was the best I had during our trip to Naples. My husband enjoyed his fish sandwich. The only thing we didn't like were the conch fritters. My husband and I were excited to eat at the "RiverWalk" on Sunday. Not a lot of people in restaurant. View of boats passing by was great. I ordered Fish & Chips, just the appearance of the food was like eating at a drive up food chain. My fish was over fried, and very little fish inside the boating:( Very disappointed. I had to return my fish. Also, the tatter sauce runny like liquid. My husband grouper sandwich more bun than fish:( we order the conch fritters, and they were the size of a large marble, soggy. Great views! Great food! If you're in Riverwalk this is a great place to stop at for lunch to enjoy a nice cold beer, have some wings, and enjoy the view, and to watch all the boats passing by... We have been coming here for years and their fish and chips are one of our favorites dishes along with their coconut shrimp and fried grouper bites. This is definitely more of a low key old Floridian kind of restaurant where everyone wears flip flops, shorts, and t-shirts and it's all fried fish, burgers, and wings on the menu. That's what's great though about this place sometimes you just want to have a big burger and a nice cold beer and this place hits the spot! Although the food is good, to be honest, we mainly come here for the view. It's always great to find a restaurant in Florida that allows you to sit outside on the covered patio and enjoy the view of the water without feeling too hot during the summer. It's a great spot to have a cold beer after spending the day in the hot sun or sip a margarita and simply enjoy the view. Customer service is always great here as well. Nobody is rushing you to get up and go so you can really take the time here to enjoy the view and spend some time with friends and family.
