He narrated the entire procedure, so I knew exactly what he was doing with each instrument and in each part of the process. It was very reassuring. And he was very gentle. I am so happy that I don't have to look elsewhere for a dentist--and don't have to be afraid! (I'm not particularly afraid of dentists, but aren't we all a bit nervous about dental work?) I mentioned that I was concerned we would miss an open slot if we waited, as time was short. After reading my three-star review, Dr. Ardalan reached out to me in a sincere desire to address my concerns and to improve his services. Since then, we have exchanged several e- mails. Most impressively, Dr. Ardalan has made changes to his practice based on those aspects of my treatment that were less than ideal -- the Wave treatment, his dental assistant, and my extended and painful recovery. As examples, my Wave assistant is no longer working at his office, and he plans to create unique follow up instructions for patients with severe abscesses, like mine, given the possibility of significant pain and longer recovery time. As with the previous review, I was very happy with Dr. Ardalan's treatment before and during the root canal procedure. He was professional, skilled, kind, and let me know what he was doing before and during the root canal. His office was very attractive and his front office staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. I sincerely appreciated Dr. Ardalan's willing ness to squeeze me in on a holiday week and his responsiveness to my calls to his emergency phone line. Most of all, I am impressed with Dr. Ardalan's willingness to reach out to me in his desire to better understand what went "wrong" during my treatment, to learn from it, and to improve upon it.
