I am so thrilled to be updating this review!…read more Following my initial review, I was contacted by the office manager, Justina, a truly kind person who urged me to come in and have Dr. Rydzik take a look at the scar. I was wary of returning, as, in my experience, I've found that accountability is rare to come by in medical practices (or in the world at large today!). But I can honestly say I am so glad to have been wrong in this instance. Dr. Rydzik acknowledged that an error had been made and told me that the medical assistant who had removed my stitches was receiving further training. She examined my arm and confirmed a keloid had formed due to the stitches being removed too early and she and her medical team provided me with a complimentary laser treatment to reduce the appearance of the scar, in addition to noting that, if future treatments for this scar are needed, those treatments would be complimentary as well. They were warm, reassuring, and really put me at ease. Thank you, Dr. Rydzik, Justina, and Bilkey (I'm so sorry if I'm misspelling your name) and a big thank you as well to the lovely woman who performed the laser on my arm today (so sorry, I'm forgetting your name!). I will continue to return as a patient for my dermatological needs as well as for my aesthetic needs and I will certainly recommend this office to friends, knowing that this is the kind of place where--should a mishap occur, as it can anywhere--the staff genuinely care to make it right.

After one treatment here, i already can tell a huge difference! My face is smoother, and hair is less noticeable. There is some pain in not going to lie, but it really is tolerable. I asked if the 2-3x per year was forever, and was told "No, not forever! Only while you're alive. Hair doesn't grow after you die". They stress that a reduction in hair growth (and not full removal) of 60-75% is the best I could hope for. I was also told my skin was very damaged, and I would need photo facial services almost everywhere I was looking to get laser hair removal (under chin, legs, bikini, underarms). I'm 32 and have since been asked about my great complexion. Additionally, I've subsequently found out the "laser" there is not a laser. I'm not an expert, but from pictures on their website, it's a Palomar StarLux 500, which uses Intense Pulse Light or IPL, and is somewhat outdated (and relatively inexpensive) technology. With what was being charged for a year of sessions, I could pay for the machine myself. Overall, I felt pretty self conscious after my initial consultation and wondered if my presupposed budget was wildly off base. After talking to friends and other businesses, this is by far the most expensive package I could find, and it doesn't have the technology, results, or added value to merit the price.

I have seen chiropractors in the past and I have to say he's one of the best. He completely caters his care to my specific needs at each session. He changes his adjustments depending on how I'm feeling in that moment and has helped me navigate this accident situation. He has referred me out to specialists who have all been kind, understanding professionals in their fields and I can't say enough good things about him. In addition to an amazing chiropractor I have also seen the message therapist Alondra who is an expert in her field as well. She always know exactly how to stretch and message each muscle group to get the maximum benefit and I always leave her feeling relaxed and renewed. Align and shine has so much to offer in their offices that after starting here for a car accident I've also booked appointments with Hannah to have facials done. My skin in always dewey and fresh after I see her and I have seen lasting results in between my appointments with her. She's also such a happy person it's hard not to be in a good mood when you see her. Shayna at the front desk is always smiling and always fun to talk to while I'm waiting for my appointments. She always makes me feel like a friend and welcomed. Lastly the design of the place is very relaxing and calming like you would expect from a high end spa. She said that was a very large tattoo to remove.
