I've done laser hair removal before and the first experience…read morewas terrible. I deal with quite dark facial hair and shave on a daily basis. After one treatment here, i already can tell a huge difference! My face is smoother, and hair is less noticeable. There is some pain in not going to lie, but it really is tolerable. I also love the after care used, really makes you feel taken care of. I have many more treatments to go but am very excited to see the result!

With "discounts", I was still quoted at over $1100 per SESSION with the need for 6-8 sessions…read moreinitially and then 2-3x yearly. I asked if the 2-3x per year was forever, and was told "No, not forever! Only while you're alive. Hair doesn't grow after you die". They stress that a reduction in hair growth (and not full removal) of 60-75% is the best I could hope for. I was also told my skin was very damaged, and I would need photo facial services almost everywhere I was looking to get laser hair removal (under chin, legs, bikini, underarms). I'm 32 and have since been asked about my great complexion. Additionally, I've subsequently found out the "laser" there is not a laser. I'm not an expert, but from pictures on their website, it's a Palomar StarLux 500, which uses Intense Pulse Light or IPL, and is somewhat outdated (and relatively inexpensive) technology. With what was being charged for a year of sessions, I could pay for the machine myself. Overall, I felt pretty self conscious after my initial consultation and wondered if my presupposed budget was wildly off base. After talking to friends and other businesses, this is by far the most expensive package I could find, and it doesn't have the technology, results, or added value to merit the price.

Sharing my overall experience how Med Spa ladies treated me so far…read more 100% true. Biased, discriminated, disrespectful. I've been a client at Celebrity Med Spa since 2022, but my experience has unfortunately been disappointing and frustrating. I initially trusted this place, but over time, I noticed a consistent lack of professionalism and a strong bias in favor of their staff often at the expense of customer care. On Women's Day, I was given the wrong package and double-charged. When I brought it to their attention, instead of acknowledging the mistake and offering an appropriate resolution, they offered me a $450 facial I didn't need. The staff was not properly trained, and my appointments were frequently canceled often at the last minute with no regard for my time or schedule. During calls to reschedule, I was repeatedly talked over and not allowed to express my concerns. One staff member continued speaking without letting me respond, and when I voiced that clients deserve to be heard, I was met with hostility. It became clear that they prioritized their team over their clients, which is concerning for any customer-focused business. When I mentioned that certain areas were left untreated during a session, the response I got was defensive "I have 20 years of experience, I know what I'm doing" instead of listening or addressing the issue. During a snowstorm, they canceled my 8:00 AM appointment with a message sent at 7:46 AM, focusing only on the safety of the staff and not even acknowledging the inconvenience to the customer. This was after I had already started driving in dangerous conditions. When I politely raised concerns about the consistent disregard and communication issues, I was told that I was the problem. The entire conversation shifted to defending staff behavior instead of addressing valid client concerns. I was essentially forced to end my service due to the lack of respect and understanding. It's disheartening to feel dismissed, talked over, and discriminated against. I also noticed a pattern where positive feedback is welcomed, but any complaint results in pushback or being made to feel unwelcome. They strongly encourage tipping and link discounts to gratuities, which feels more like pressure than appreciation. Sadly, I no longer feel comfortable returning to this spa. I hope they reflect on how they treat clients--especially those from diverse backgrounds and work on building a culture that values respectful, two-way communication. Biased, discriminated, disrespectful. For them only staff is important. They do not want their staff to fell uncomfortable. but they are totally happy to if the client is uncomfortable.

I've never been to Hair M before but decided to treat myself before heading out on vacation…read more Booking an appointment online was interesting. You're required to agree to their cancellation policy, which is basically a nice way of threatening you with a 50% charge if you don't cancel before a certain time. I thought this was a bit excessive but I was confidant I could make my appointment and ultimately didn't have a problem with providing my credit card info. After booking my appointment, you're subsequently bombarded with texts and emails (I counted 6 total) about your appointment times, asking you to respond and confirm you're still going and then appointment reminders leading up to the day and time. (These people are serious about you showing up!) My appointment was at 11:00am. I received a call from my stylist at 9:45am (the day of!!) telling me she works two jobs and they booked her for the HairM job on the wrong day and had to cancel my appointment. I was left scrambling to try and find a haircut before leaving town. Pretty disappointing experience for a service I never got to experience....
