Worst buying experience I have ever had!!! From the very beginning they started lying to me and playing games. The worst lie was that we agreed on a purchase price out the door over the phone and after the loan was all signed for and it was to late to do anything they changed the price to before taxes and fees. This dealership is a joke. I've had my car there twice and the check engine light keeps coming on and they keep telling me the specs but all they're doing is clearing the code. And every time we bring the car and they never have a rental car the purpose of having this warranty was so that when something happens we have a rental car not so we can plan a service to happen and then expect a rental car. After having a "Total Loss" of my 2016 Cadillac as a result of a bad auto accident I attempted to purchase another at another local dealership that I had bought my first from just a little over a year ago.... Love my new car from Rizza. Process was pretty smooth and quick. One complaint, I paid CASH for my car. CASH and they still said they had to run a credit report on me. Why the F would you need to know my private credit information if I paid straight cash? Is this normal procedure or was I somehow discriminated against? I wish I was able to give them 0 stars I most certainly would. On 21 December I drove from Elmwood Park all the way to the above mentioned dealership. I was very much interested in purchasing a vehicle. When I pulled up a salesman was outside smoking. I went to the car which I was interested in purchasing and the salesman walked back inside. I stayed outside for approximately 30 minutes scraped the frost off of the windshield to view the purchase price. There were a couple of salesmen looking at me from inside. After 30 minutes of waiting I got back in my vehicle with my check and left. I will never wait to give my money away. I phoned the dealership and asked the call taker if there was a shortage of sales people on today's date , and her reply was no. I told her about my experience and she said she would inform the managers and I would receive a call. I never received the call. I went back to Rizza because I had purchased my previous vehicle from the dealership in North Riverside, IL. I woke up this morning still in disbelief and very much disturbed that in 2021 I can walk into a dealership pay $16K CASH for a vehicle yet be treated with such DISREGARD and DISRESPECT. The entire experience from beginning to the end I was treated as If I didn't have a right to question, comment or simply inquire about the transaction. Starting with the salesman, he displayed nothing but irritation, frustration the entire time. His attitude and demeanor was take it or leave it. When he couldn't explain the purpose of the OFAC check he literally walked off rolled his eyes, shaking his head as if a kid throwing a tantrum. After agreeing to purchase the vehicle CASH I wanted to do final inspection while the vehicle was being cleaned. I inquired the scratches, no floor mats ,spare tire etc.. his response was "it's a used vehicle what do you expect". When asked if he could check to see if there were any available floor mats in house that he could put in the vehicle he said " I could but I'm not right now I have other things that I'm trying to wrap up". At that point I had enough of his poor customer service and attitude to which I stated to him that his behavior was unsatisfactory even though it was the end of the day and he may have been in a rush to go home he still required to provide customer service to me . IN spite of I still tried to proceed with the transaction he later walked us over to the business office to sign the necessary documents to finalize transaction. From there I could see where salesman felt it was ok to treat me that way because the associate wanted to do was get it down, sell the vehicle and get me out of his office. He did a lot of fast talking, don't ask me any questions just sign. He walked us into his office , we sat down and noticed he wasn't wearing a mask. I asked him if he could put on a mask (we are still in a pandemic) he stated " I don't have one", I stated I'm sure you have one in the building. He fumbled around his office and found one, half put it around his mouth and not on his nose. I asked if he could properly put on the mask covering his nose ,he replied " No I cant, look this the best I can do I'm trying to appease you by putting it on I'm not putting it over my nose". His tone, mannerism, was completely disrespectful, downright NASTY. When I informed him that I had my own plates that I wanted to transfer over to the new vehicle and that I would bring them back with me the following morning when we picked the vehicle, he says in frustration " Do you have the plates with you, then you don't have plates, I have plates right here you're only saving 75 bucks, let's just get this done and wrap this up". At that moment enough was enough. I told him that I no longer wanted to purchase the vehicle and walked out. The way I was treated in Rizza Cadillac was UNEXCEPTABLE. They made me feel as if they were doing me a favor by spending my money, they treated me as if I was LESS THEN/BENEATH them and didn't have a right to question their behavior. He disregarded my concerns, my personal space and safety but not wearing a mask . As a woman of color they made me feel and treated me as if they were saying " Look buy this car and get out of my face- we have no interest in answering your questions, you don't have a right to comment on anything-this is what you get when buying a used car, take or leave it and you should feel privileged that we are even servicing you" This is no place I would ever step foot in. I would spend 15K more for the same vehicle somewhere else before I spend a penny at Rizza. At no point should a customer ever feel the way that I left last night. It's evident that this is a behavior/ pattern that is mimicked throughout the establishment , I will be publicly sharing my experience with hopes no one ever feel the way I felt. Update: I also wrote a reviewo on their business page on and the response I received was " our team has acknowledged your review ". When I found others making similar complaints the response was how you take pride in customer service and would like to speak with them and provided contact details to reach you. What message does that send?.You have reviewes of the poor customer service, scams, disrespect, vulgarity to women yet apparently there has been no change in behavior. In addition, later I found the same vehicle that I was seconds of signing off on they has posted online for cheaper! The unprofessional salesman gave me the selling price of $ 17, 990 when online you have it listed as $15,550. Pure deceit and rip offs to their customers. Let me chime in on the negative reviews of Rizza GMC Buick. I had been in communication with JC and Amanda about coming in to purchase a Buick Encore. I told them I would be using my TrueCar certificate. My appointment was for Thursday, April 23rd. My journey was about far away enough that I had to pack a lunch to Tinley Park. I looked at and test drove a car. I noticed the VIN on this vehicle was not the one on my certificate. When I alerted the salesman, Joe V, to this he checked and found the TrueCar vehicle was a courtesy vehicle with 3,000 miles. I mulled over going ahead with this car, but Joe had gone to talk to someone about the situation. That's when (and I want to be honest here. I did not get the person's name, but looking at photos of Rizza employees, it appears the person was Jim Allagretti.) This person came out saying Rizza is NOT a member of the TrueCar program. I asked how that could be to which I was informed TrueCar pirates dealerships names to make it APPEAR the dealer is part of the program. This person went onto complain that the car would not be sold at the TrueCar price at Rizza. I offered the advice that if the was the case, perhaps Rizza should institute legal proceedings. This person said they, along with dealers from makes like Ford and others were fighting this practice. I then asked why JC and Amanda had failed to notify me of this when I spoke with them? I was told they didn't know because they're temporary employees (HHMMM, when I was a temporary employee I was never included in an employee roster, as JC and Amanda are on the Rizza website.) I left after a couple more minutes and called and e-mailed TrueCar with the details of this interaction. The TrueCar representative informed me that they don't force any dealers into their program...the dealerships seek them out. Bottom line, I did not do business with Rizza that day and they will never have to worry about me or mine darkening their doorsteps again. Two days later, I DID purchase the vehicle I wanted at the TrueCar price at another dealership that DID honor their commitment. read more

I needed a regular oil change and tire rotation, as well as checking for outstanding Recall items. I called to secure an appointment because I was anticipating taking an out-of-state drive. However there were no openings for two weeks. I was forced to forego the service until a month later. Once an appointment was secured there was only late availability (not until noon). I arrived 30 minutes early, it took almost 30 minutes to check in, and I waited another 3 hours for service to be completed. On checkout it took another 35 minutes and then I was told my vehicle was being washed. When I finally saw my vehicle I realized that my tires had not, in fact, been rotated, yet I was charged for that service. I brought the issue to attention of service personnel, who after taking another 25 minutes, told me the service technician was on lunch and I'd have to wait to straighten out the matter. Then he asked "How do you know they were not rotated?", to which I responded, "I marked my tires." He left again for another 10 minutes and returned to tell me that the service tech claimed my tires did not need to be rotated and thus he only changed my oil. He then stated that it shouldn't matter because the charge would have been the same regardless. This is unacceptable - waiting half a day for certain work to be performed only to learn that you got only one thing completed and the additional time expended was unaccounted for. To add injury to insult, the service personnel insisted that I needed "throttle -body" work for several hundred dollars, something that had never been mentioned in the manual or by other service managers, implying that failing to do so would potentially be detrimental to vehicle operation. Then the service personnel claimed that certain maintenance work had not been performed as described in the manual or by GMC protocols. I argued with him that I did have the work performed. He tried to prove I was wrong, went back into their computer system and discovered that, in fact, those items had been addressed. This is the first time that I had ever been almost goaded into spending more money on services that I did not require or want. I have patronized this dealership for many years and that of their GMC predecessor, even going so far as to purchase it from the dealership and insist that their service technicians service my new vehicle exclusively. Then I get over charged for a basic oil change and tire rotation, wasted time, and then discover the work was not done and the explanation for same is real lame. It made me wonder how many times in the past that I paid for tire rotation and oil changes only to learn now that perhaps the work was never actually done. That is probably why I was suspicious and this time decided to mark my tires to ensure the work was actually completed. These people are unscrupulous and apparently untrustworthy. Very unprofessional and bad business practices. It's sad when you lose confidence in those who service your vehicle because so much "rides" on their competence and professionalism. read more

I recently inherited a 1998 Buick Century. The car was from Michigan so there was no front license plate holder. I was told the easiest way to take care of this was to go to a dealer. I made an appointment and told them specifically that I needed a front license plate holder. I also needed some additional services (the check engine light was on, one of the windshield wipers wasn't working, and it was time for an oil change). When I brought my car in, I was informed that they did not keep the license plate holder in stock and they had to order it but I had to prepay for it. I must point out that I explicitly informed them when I made the appointment that I needed this part. In my opinion, they should have told me it needed to be ordered and prepaid for and I would have paid for it over the phone when I made the appointment. Driving without both plates is illegal in Illinois and they extended the amount of time I was breaking the law and also wasting my time by making me come in for two appointments instead of one. I paid the $27.04 for the part and was charged $9.95 when I came back for the second visit to have it installed. They came to no conclusion as to why the check engine light was on. They charged me $99.95 to tell me that I should screw the gas cap on tighter to make sure the check engine light doesn't come on. I don't think this advice was worth $99.95. I would rather have driven with the light on. They also told me I need a tune-up that will cost me $400. This sounds high to me and based on the prior service, I will not be getting my tune-up here. While the people were nice, I felt that they charged me too much and also wasted my time as this should have been done in one appointment, not two. The took the last 3 cars I bought to a Dodge dealer over the course of 11 years and never have been over charged or had my time wasted like I did at Rizza. read more

I have had my Cadillac SRX now for two months now and I have some thoughts on the dealership as well as the car. Bottom line, if I would have believed Consumer Reports and my fellow Yelpers, I would have been happier. The Good - My salesman Mohamed "Mo" was a decent guy. He was likable and, if he was working at a different dealership, I would buy from him again. My White Caddy SUV looks very nice and, when the sound system is working well, it is awesome. Like other Yelper, Garry, I acquired a vehicle that was pre-driven. However, unlike Garry, I leased my pre-driven car and can give it back in two years. The Sad - as Consumed Reports suggests, the SUV is well put together but: the stereo system and navigation is slow and not easy to like. The radio fades in and out of HD and can not pick up stations that it should. The navigation is a pain. The car isn't that smooth of a ride and the mid sized vehicle gets poor mileage. I have purchased four cars in the last year - for myself and others. Cadillac was the most expensive and the least satisfactory. For example: Unlike CJ Mazda - down the street - not only do you need to wait for the plates to be delivered - but Rizza didn't even offer to put them on for me. Note: I know how to attach plates but I thought I was buying luxury service with the luxury price. The Mazda salesperson had those players on at delivery. Then I went for my first oil change and tire rotation. Even though I made my appointment via the email received from Onstar - My reservation was not on the list. Then, listening to the guy with the appointment for oil and tire rotation in front of me - it would be "about" 1 1/2 hours of waiting. Huh - an appointment and that kind of a wait - are you kidding!!! I went down the street to Oil and Go and they changed my oil in 8 minutes. Note: they didn't rotate the tires. Lastly, with the Mazda (which cost less than half of the Cadillac) all regular service during the first year is free - not so Caddy. Note: Even if it was, I do not plan to wait in the dismal waiting area at the Cadillac dealership. I have observed the area on three occasions now and each time it appeared crowded with kids running all over. I like kids but not in the small area that everyone is contained here. Ok. Enough crabbing. I try and keep my reviews honest and positive if possible. So, in conclusion, I will positively not be buying a Caddy or GM vehicle when this lease expires. read more

Ok, I bought a Cadillac. Great car no complaints I love it. Purchasing was not bad salesman did not pressure. They gave me more for my trade than carmax was offering. I am a happy customer at this point. My problem is with the service. The issue is everytime I go in for an oil change they say I need this that and the other thing. Next thing I know it a couple hundred bucks. Please, I understand the maintenance schedule for cars but quit being so pushy about it. I know its your job to sell, But your prices are way higher than I can get elsewhere. Example of brakes and tires I saved $500 going somewhere else and is still certified. Overall the staff is friendly and helpful and the work that has been done there is good. Plus I get a loaner when work is performed here. I can only give 3 stars for being annoyed. read more

My boyfriend and I came here to look at a few cars. We want to look at the Terrain, Acadia, and Enclave, but we were most interested in the Terrain and wanted to test drive one. Within 10 minutes of walking in we had already decided to go elsewhere should be want to purchase the Terrain. We spoke with four different people before someone finally brought a car around for us to drive. Even then we got very little information about the vehicles. I'm all for low pressure sales, but it was as if they weren't interested in us as customers at all. Of course that all changed after we test drove. The sales guy, who was a very nice guy, suddenly wanted to price it out and look at our financing options, etc even though we had made it very clear we weren't interested in buying yet just narrowing down our options. We were ready to leave, and I was starting to feel like I was going to have to plot our escape. We also found out later (when we mentioned it at the Chevy dealer since the incentives should have been the same as it's another GM) that one of the incentives the sales guy told us about only applied to leasing. My husband and I went looking at cars. Our fourth stop was Rizza. I was greeted by a young man (Marco) that had really impressed me with his knowledge of the makes and models they sold. This was quite refreshing to me as we had been looking at cars most of the day and were confused as the salespeople were not very informative. I found myself looking in their car brochures for my own answers. That was a big turn off. You would think these salespeople would know what they were selling or quickly try to find out. Shopping for a car is not fun. We purposely left Rizza Cadillac for last as that was the current vehicle make we were driving and wanted to see what else was out there. Perhaps we would get something a tad cheaper. Surprisingly I found our visit at Rizza to be a fun experience. Marco had gone above and beyond the norm as a salesmen. I have dealt with many car salesmen over my the years of car buying not to mention the better part of that day. We did not feel pressured or swayed in what we were discussing and looking at. Again, I can't stress how impressed I was with this young mans knowledge and also his personality. We felt very comfortable and informed with our visit at Rizza. After leaving the dealership my husband and I were pretty sure of our decision and found ourselves convinced that our choice was our choice and that Marco was someone we wanted to do business with as Rizza was not our passed dealership that we had shopped at. Not only did we get another Cadillac we got an awesome deal and most of all we were amazed at the customer service that we were given after taking delivery of our new vehicle. Terrible experience. Went in to purchase a 2018 xt5 that was listed for 30,450. Received a text from Anyssa confirming the car was still available and for that price. Went in and met with a salesman. We test drove the car and decided to buy it. After explaining my recent experiences with Ziegler and their price adjustment scam, I was insured that wouldn't be the case here. Then it all went downhill. He came back and said the car had work done to it and it was actually 34,000. The car also was Also CPO and that was an additional 3,500. So when all said and done the car was almost 40,000. The salesman said he tried to work with his boss but their was nothing they could do. We were told Friday they would be adjusting the price on Their website Monday to the correct price and it has yet to be changed. This would be considered false advertising which is upsetting and not right. I tried to speak with Anyssa through text and email so I could talk with the manager and she never responded yet she responded in minutes when we were interested. So then I emailed them from their website contact information and never received a response. I took my car into Joe Rizza Cadillac in Tinley Park on 12/17/22 for an appointment on 12/19/23. I was told that my vehicle would need an engine and that the inspector would need to come out to verify that the engine needed to be replaced. Well after the inspector coming out several times it was approved. I was told that they needed to order the parts. I continuously called to check on the status of my car and was told each time they were waiting on the parts. After continuously calling I was specifically told it was ordered and should be in by 2/16/23. Well that date came and went and they continued to tell me they were waiting on parts. I continued to call and text a number they provided me to inquire about updates. I eventually had my husband to call on 3/29/23 and he initially could not get any follow up and so he called the corporate office. A representative from the corporate office informed him the part was ordered on 1/5/23 and that they (dealership) received the part on 1/15/23. My concern is that my vehicle has been sitting at the dealership since 1/15/23 with the part having been received from GM however they refuse to fix my car. Every time I called to ask about an update on my vehicle they continuously told me they are waiting on parts. I'm not sure if they were delaying fixing it because it was still under warranty and they would not be receiving payment from me, continuously brushing me off because I am a woman, or hoping I would purchase a new vehicle. I do not have any confidence in this dealership fixing my vehicle due to the nature of this situation and the fact that we had to call the corporate office before they would fix it. After hours of testing a Cadillac with a certain engine, the salesman found another he was strongly pushing and offering a better deal on what he described as the same car. No vehicle sticker in the window. After I bought it I found out it was a 4 cylinder vs a 6. Called salesman immediately. Too bad. We can work something out. I'd lose $10,000 on a car I had for 2 hours. Ok lesson learned. 8 months later I try to trade it in. A $44,000 car to them is now worth $20,000. They are criminal in their dealings. Stay away. I had the displeasure of meeting a manager by the name of James Algretti. I have never been treated so terrible in my life. i have purchased two new vehicles here in ten months time. If the owner of this place has a manager who screams at a good customer in the waiting area i question the credibility of the whole place. Prior to today i have had interactions with the service department. While one of my vehicles was in there for 7 weeks,the second one for 30-40 days. I have treated all of the employees with respect. I feel extremely foolish at this point that i went back to give them a second try. I only did that because while my first (2016 Yukon Denali,91000.00 sticker price) was in the shop for the seven weeks i genuinely felt they tried. Vehicle number two(2017 CT6 Cadillac) was picked up today after an extended period of issues and three trips back. I am still not satisfied repairs are going to work but we'll see. The reason I am writing this review is to pray that i save someone from Jim Algretti. He called me a thief and said i stole a loaner car from him. after that he called an 82 year old widow on her birthday to inform her he were going to have her arrested. We went with our 17 year old son that was buying a used car. The general manager was the rudest man we ever met. They bragged about the inspection the car went through before the dealer would ever sell it. There is a 3 month warranty, so If something goes wrong you are covered. Yeah, right. My son had his car for 3 days and it stopped running. Brought it back to the dealer. It needed a new battery - how good is this inspection they give if the battery is bad 3 days after a car is purchased and the fuel sensors were bad. There were also 3 safety recalls that needed to be completed. They did the recalls without charge, ( so they say, but everything they said to this point was a lie so who knows) but the other things that needed repairs were 800.00. The warranty doesn't cover that kind of stuff is what we were told. Rizza would not even help us with the bill. Not in one way would they help. No reduction on the labor charge - NOTHING. Buyer Beware. This is an awful company to deal with. We never will go there for anything. I reached out as requested and never heard anything back from your company. Dealer of the Year for Good Reason! After waiting 6 plus months for our 2021 Cadillac Escalade Platinum Sport to arrive, we decided to cancel our order at our local dealership and found one at Rizza Cadillac. I was quickly put in contact with Chris Dargan. Fortunately, he had one in transit and was able to quickly secure it. Given the constraints in place they are extremely hard to come by. Further, the Onyx package is impossible to get at this point. However, Chris was quick to come to a solution and had the rims powder coated and the emblems replaced. I received updates including pictures every step of the way. In addition, with Covid and in a day and age where more and more people are opting to have items delivered to accommodate their busy schedules, Chris went above and beyond and drove 4 hours each way to deliver the vehicle to us. I even received live footage of the new super cruise feature along the way. The app was great to track movements of the vehicle as well which helped to further aid in their expediting the process. Employees like Chris are the reason Rizza Cadillac has gotten dealer of the year the last two years and as a result are getting an allocation of these hard to come by technological masterpieces. Where do I begin, my husband purchased a used vehicle along with an extended warranty from here in March and was told according to the carfax report there were no prior accidents. Fast forward he traded this vehicle in at another dealership in September after we were out of town and it failed to start without warning while stopping for gas. We learned at the new dealership when they ran a check on the vehicle it had in fact been in a rear end collision accident. Anyway this is where the horror begins. We spoke with the finance manager, Mike Lorenzo about cancelling the extended warranty as well as gap insurance. He stated once we received the pay off letter from the finance company bring it in and we should receive a check within 2 weeks. We brought all of the necessary paperwork in on Oct 24, 2017 signed the documents regarding the warranty. We waited and contacted Mike Lorenzo several times without receiving any return phone calls. My husband was finally able to get him on the phone and was told he had to contact someone else to find out the status of the refund, this is now November 10th. Mr. Lorenzo tells my husband to call him back on Monday as the person he needs to speak with was gone for the day. My husband told him no I will come in to the office after I get off of work since it appears it's difficult to get him on the phone. We went into the dealership on November 13th to speak with him directly. The first thing he says to my husband is I thought you were going to be here at 4 p.m. My husband tells him I never told you that and replied I came once I got off work. My husband then asked him what did it matter what time he got there because according to him he had to speak with someone in his office. Which clearly didn't require my husband's presence. Mr. Lorenzo stated he forgot to speak with them!!!??? It's a little past 5:00 and this person, whom we learned he is referring to is Betty Holly the office manager, has left for the day. We requested to speak with the General manager, Jim and he asked Mike if this was a finance company issue or was this their issue. Mike stated it appeared to be their issue. Jim assured us we would have an answer about the refund by 11:00 a.m. the following day and to give Mike a call. I called him on Tuesday, November 14th and was told the check would be available within 7 business days. Due to the holiday I contacted Mike on November 21st, according to him he attempted to contact Betty to find out about the check without success, also I might add I attempted to contact Betty Holly several times attempting to inquiry directly with her regarding the firmula used to calculate the refund (She doesn't return calls either) Mike stated he would be out of the office after the 21st for the holiday. I asked him who should I contact? He said Jim (General manager) I called him later in the day left a voice mail never received a return call. Now the 7th business day is here November 22, I called requested to speak with Betty Holly thru the operator and was transferred received her voice mail. Called back and explained to operator that I would like to speak with an actual live person regarding a refund that is due to my husband. She asked me for my husband's name I gave it to her, she placed me on hold and proceeded to transfer me back to Betty Holly and received voice mail again. I attempted to call back three more times, however now even the operator is not answering the phone (Caller ID) they would just transfer the call to various people none whoever answered! My husband attempted to call while he was at work and requested to speak with Jim and Jim answers however as soon as he learns it's my husband he immediately acts as though he is unable to hear him and hangs up. When my husband got off work he went into the dealership informed one of the salesmen he was there to see Jim. The guy went to the office where Jim was sitting with his back turned to my husband and Jim proceeded to hand gesture to the guy waving his hand in front of his neck, saying tell him I'm not here. He then turns around and notices my husband and comes out begrudgingly. He went totally off on my husband as he proceeded to tell him he didn't appreciate him hanging up on him earlier. Jim said he didn't do that and he didn't even know who my husband was!!!??? yet you just told your salesmen to tell him you weren't there. This attitude is absolutely deplorable and unacceptable as a leader of a dealership. He told my husband to get out his store. Why?? All because you are upset you were caught lying??? Needless to say it has been over 30 days and we still have not received our refund. We will never do business with this dealership ever again!!! The general manager, Jim should be fired as you do not treat customers with disrespect. They lack integrity and professionalism. They are not people of their word. read more

So last night after I was instructed to return me leased vehicle to any GMC dealer, I "attempted" to return my car to this particular dealership(Not the dealer who I purchased my car from in particular but a dealership who my family(3 people)has done business with in the past but at their Chevrolet dealer). My friend and I pull up to the front of the dealership and there were about 6 or so men out front smoking a cigarette. I exit my vehicle and I asked where do I return leased vehicles and that's when I was approached by this older male who told me I was at the right place and began to tell me about their lease specials and how much money they can save me. I told him that I had already purchased a vehicle and his whole demeanor changed. He said that he thinks that I need to make an appointment but told me to follow him inside where another male sat behind the desk. Instead of the first man asking the man sitting behind the desk what should be done, he said "she wants to return her lease but she's not buying another one". At this point the male behind the desk says "yeah, you need to make an appointment" as if this was some kind of script. I told them both what I was told when I called the GMC 800 number and they got even more rude. One of them asked me where did I get my car from initially and I told him and he said it would be easier if I just take it back there. Then my salesman from where I purchased my new vehicle appeared because he was there to pick me up after I dropped my other car off. He asked them what was the problem and the guys both were rude to him and they went back and forth and then told him what my options were and then they said, they have the right to refuse me dropping my car off there! WOW, it wasn't necessarily what they said, it was how they said it. THEY WERE VERY RUDE and there is no other way to put it. I'm not going to make this about race because I'm black and they were white, I'm not going to make this about gender because they were all male and I'm a female...I'm going to say this was very poor customer service and even more so poor communication skills. They were mad I was about to make them do work and wasn't buying a car from their shit dealership. I could have snapped on scene and started throwing around my credentials but I didn't and shouldn't have had to just to be spoken to like an adult or better yet like a customer who spent hard earned money with this dealer in the past. My salesman got back to his dealership and he and his manager looked up the GMC dealership online and what do you know, one of the rude ass people talking to me was the GM of dealership. LEAD BY EXAMPLE SIR!!!!!!! Drove down to pick up and we were driving home our new vehicle in just about three hours from our arrival. Just purchased a new vehicle; came in with a large amount of $$ for down payment upon pick up. No assistance from sales, Cashier literally gave me my receipt and handed me the car keys to locate my vehicle out in the lot in the rain while the porter just sat there. Couldn't locate vehicle had to go find porter. Porter located vehicle; my license plates had not been put on , my husband had to do that. Got home and the $360 weather mats were taken out of car as was the lug nut key. Vehicle had never been prepped by service. No windshield fluid. Got a notification from onstar tires were low and needed air. I am beyond angry with my experience! I had to drive back to pick up the mats, was told by Ryan the salesman he was order a key for lug nuts. That never happened. Got a call from Becky in service dept to bring my car back in to have lug nuts removed. Never ever going back. The service from all departments was horrible. I told salesman Ryan the car just sat in the garage as I was afraid if I got a flat tire I would be screwed without the key to the locked lug nuts. He informed me my vehicle was new and how often did I get a flat tire; it is safe to drive umm not this is a safety issue. Never go to this dealership. Find a smaller dealership who care about their clients. read more

My sales rep Jerry Davis did a great job of showing extraordinary patience with my many questions and looking and test driving vehicle after vehicle. I came back the next day and purchased a vehicle but had a very short time frame due to previous commitments. Purchase was competed but there were loose ends that they agreed to complete on Monday. When I came in on Monday I realized there were some misunderstandings in our agreement but since we signed the the contract and monies had changed hands, there was little I could do other than express my disappointment. The finance manager Joe knew I was not happy. He listened to my story and took it to the General Manager. To make a long story short, and much to my surprise, Joe came back in the office letting me know what they were going to do to make things right with me. I was shocked because legally I owned the car, there was nothing they legally needed to do.but they realized I was not a satisfied customer and were not going to let me leave the dealership that way. Other than the misunderstanding, it was a flawless transaction and they fact that they made a great faith effort to assure my satisfaction says everything I need to say about this dealership. My husband found a used Buick Enclave online that we were extremely interested in. He communicated with the staff that we would be coming in for a test drive the following day. When he checked the website again that morning the price had jumped about $2,000. We went in anyways and test drove the car. Our salesman (Marcell?) was great, very personable and knowledgeable about the car, and FRIENDLY. I am six months pregnant and we were obviously interested in all the safety aspects of the car which he touched on in great detail. I appreciated this. During negotiations for the car, my husband brought up the fact that the price went up after making an appointment to test drive the car, and we were told they made some "updates" to the website. Despite this, negotiations continued with our salesman running back and forth to their finance guy who was eating a pizza at the front desk. We were then told they couldn't go any lower in price, but had another car to show us. It was the same exact car we were looking at, just a different color and with more perks than the original car (included 4-wheel drive and lesser mileage if I remember correctly.) When my husband questioned why the somewhat identical cars had different prices, they brought out their manager Jim Allegretti. Jim sat down with us, and immediately was loud and pretty obnoxious. His behavior was odd, quick movements, talking extremely fast, seemed to be all over the place. But I suppose all sales managers are to have this "charisma." He asked us to tell him about the car we wanted to trade in since we didn't take it to the dealer with us. Reason being we didn't anticipate to truly want to buy the Buick immediately, but we were literally sold by the car itself and the salesman. Through rapid fire questions we listed all the details of the car we wanted to trade in. When Jim asked if it had any nicks or dents my husband told him the bumper was cracked but not beyond repair. Jim then folded the piece of paper he was writing his notes on, and which had our negotiation price, and threw it at the salesman and loudly said "we don't have a deal, you were smart to not bring that car in here." And he got up basically informing us that our time with them was up and it was time to go. He did happen to mention though that they all are non-commission based work, but because they're so great they'll still honor the price they gave us for the trade in even though they shouldn't. My jaw was literally on the ground and we were walked out by our salesman who I felt terrible for. He seemed to know that behavior was normal for his "manager" but still proceeded to give us his card and wish us luck. Fortunately my husband and I took all of this with a grain of salt, considering it was kind of an emotional and upsetting experience especially at 6 months pregnant. We were very much taken aback by Jim Allegretti's unprofessional behavior and pompous demeanor. As my husband said, "this isn't a war" which I found very telling of our experience. Negotiations are a part of selling a car, if you can't handle it tactfully and with professionalism you have no business calling yourself a manager, let alone a working professional. read more

All I have to say is as long as you go see Steve you will not be disappointed! He goes out of his way every single time. 2nd car bought with him and we will go back every time. I made an APPOINTMENT to have a minor service done on my GMC Yukon. Dropped truck off Wednesday at 8am and did not receive loaner car. I received a call Friday at 3PM telling me they haven't even looked at the truck and it wouldn't be repaired until after Monday. Again, I made an APPOINTMENT ahead of time for the repair! No Thanks, I canceled service and will take my business elsewhere. Take my advice, find another dealer for repairs. read more

I went to the dealership a week ago! Fell in love with a wonderful explorer, after test driving! The gentleman who helped me; Mark, told me he doesn't do the financing part he just shows the cars! He was very kind and knowledgeable and had me test drive a car I was interested in! I was all set to buy until Jim came into the picture. I got the impression that he immediately didn't have the patience to deal with just me. It was just me me. Not my husband, just me. Immediately he started talking with a disgusted demeanor! After he mentioned what I would get for a trade-in , I told him what I was expecting For my trade-in, as I had been to multiple dealerships and receive the same amount. He actually sounded disgusted!, No pretense, not even trying to keep the situation light, Jim just simply got disgusted! I said "well that's it I'm done". He said what if I gave you what you were asking but you have to do it right now!The manner and his tone were awful, like a bully. I explained that I was going to contact my husband before I made any final decisions and he got irritated and stated you have to do it right now! I stated I don't have to do anything right now and got myself out of there. Mark walked me to my car. As soon as we were out the door he started apologizing, stating "I can't believe it went that way, I apologize for that". I told him that's a shame because I was ready to buy that car but that man in there shouldn't be in that position. Mark made it seem a pleasant experience gave me all the information I needed about the car gave me the price and told me what to expect! However I could tell by his statements afterwards he in no way expected Jim to behave in such a manner! Jim...you lost a sale that day! Mark did a follow up call. Left a message. He repeated his concern about the attitude I was met with. I played the message for my husband. He stated the obvious. Mark would have had that car sold! Jim needs a new job! read more

I financed a 2018 GMC Terrain SLE on February 1, 2018. I parked my car and entered the dealership. When I walked in I was greeted by someone at the desk and I informed them that I was interested in a GMC Arcadia or Terrain. I was introduced to Steve Barakat who helped me understand the difference between the 2 SUV's. I was initially interested in a fully loaded model but Steve helped me realize that it was more vehicle than I really needed. I appreciated that. Instead of trying to upsell me on something I didnt need, his expertise guided me toward the vehicle that fit my needs. I had alot of questions about vehicle models, option packages, financing, and the whole process. I was there for about 4 hours and it felt like I was there for about 1. Once I settled on the vehicle they showed me the MSRP, the available rebates (more than what are advertised), and the Rizza price. I haggled a little but only because it felt too easy. This is not my first rodeo and I researched prices on Edmunds and other websites. Once we setteled on price I was introduced to the Sales Manager, Finance Manager and some guy named Jimmy (boss i think). From there the finance price was fairly simple. I forgot the finance guys name but he was a U of I graduate and he explained the financing. I know my credit score and what kind of APR range I was looking for. The finance guy had my APR dialed in and even worked to get it 0.5% less than what I was expecting. He tried to sell me on some extended warranties but I politely declined and that was the end of that matter (didnt push for more). At the end my Terrain was parked in front looking sharp. Steve showed me how to set up the radio and helped me find the fuel door open switch. The facility was ok. They were out of donuts when I was there but it was noon so I think thats forgivable. The waiting room was kind of small but there was free coffee so that was good. Normally I think of buying a car as me having to invest time and effort, a day where I am going to be exhausted when it was all over. This purchase was awesome, we were sitting around joking and talking about family, kids, food, where we went to high school (Steve was from the area so it was easy to to get to know him). I am happy with my truck and it looks great. I used to go to Napelton and they were ok, probably a solid 6 on a 1-10 scale. Rizza GMC was a solid 10. Im about 40 so I dont need alot of flash. I wanted price, good character people, and no stress or BS. Thats what I got from Rizza. My girlfriend likes the Buicks so Im going to come back again and see if we can have some back to back homeruns. Chris Delgado. read more
