I ordered the bacon cheeseburger pizza through GrubHub. The pizza was almost not edible. I had three bites of one slice. The bacon on the cheese pizza tasted like the bacon bits you get on a salad bar. I would not recommend this Pizza to anyone. I try to support local, but this was a big mistake. There are not many places to eat in Arlington but Rizzis is one of the best out there. The pizzas are absolutely delicious and the crust is crispy but still a little floppy. We ordered the "deluxe" and traded the sausage for meatballs. Our main ongoing complaint about Rizzis is that they don't have a house ranch sauce. You are given a little tub of Ken's Steakhouse Ranch if you ask for it to dip your pizza in or for a salad. I think this is a miss on their part and they would hugely benefit from a house ranch! Don't think I'll go back to Rizzi's. I went about 6 months ago, and they disappointed me. Thought it was just an off night, but I went back last night and it was awful once again. Barely anyone in the restaurant, but the kitchen was really slow. Spinach dip was soupy and watered down, and my sub barely had any meat on it. Very disappointed with the wait and quality of food. Only reason I gave it 2 starts instead of my 1 is because my girlfriend was with me and made it a little better. read more

Terrible! Placed my order for pick up arrived per their instructions to discover they didn't put the ticket in. Another man had been waiting for 45 minutes because they couldn't find his pizza. Wow I'm surprised I haven't already left a glowing review for Rizzi's. I have truly had a much much different experience than the negative comments int he review space. I've never had a problem. In fact, it's one of my favorite places to go to when I'm visiting my parents. Super friendly people, super awesome food. I almost always get some sort of Stromboli, and lemme tell ya--I distinctly remember sitting in algebra class (my final class before the day got out), the last hour of my shift, or whatever I did just before I was able to come home and would just dream about the deliciousness of this dish oh my goodness gracious. Plus it's a small business, so it's a great place to give business to in the same of COVID-19. I can't recommend it strongly enough!!!! read more

A few days ago my mother picked up food for the family. Once home, we realized a chicken cesar salad was missing. My mother drove back, picked up the missing salad, and return home for the second time. We then realized the salad didn't have any chicken. I called and spoke with employee Tina, who stated the only compensation she could make was a $2.50 refund. When I stated all of our food was cold waiting for our mother to return with her salad, Tina replied that since the rest of the order was correct we should've eaten it while it was hot. Tina's unprofessionalism in a customer service job was appalling. My family and I will not be returning to Rizzi's, and Hopefully Tina can find a more suitable job that matches her attitude, such as a factory job where she is far away from customers. read more

Was referred to this place as a must go to. Due to Covid I am unable Sit inside and eat a freshly based pie, so I ordered to go. Pie looked amazing, but when I lifted it to place on my plate all of the toppings slid off. All o had was dough and sauce. Once I contrasted my deconstructed pie. It was amazing. Decided to have another slice an hour later and my pie turned into Little Caesars. It was like plastic and hard. My most recent experience, I was charged twice for my meal, my food and a table nearby. Looking for something other than the standard pizzas I decided to give Rizzi's Pizza Cafe a try. Ordering pizza on Friday night and was told it would be 30-minutes and it was over an hour. The pizza I ordered was the 18" Deluxe Pizza and honestly I was disappointed in amount of toppings on this pizza. I've seen more toppings on $5 pizzas from Lil'C. The pizza had a decent taste but after paying over $30 for a pizza one would expect a more generous portion of toppings. It almost looked liked they counted out the toppings they placed on top of the pizza so as to not put too much on the pizza. Real disappointed when I opened up the pizza when I got home. If I had looked at the pizza while I was a Rizzi's Pizza Cafe I would likely not have paid for this pizza or at least not $30+ for something that wasn't much more than a cheese pizza with a few toppings. Not sure the negative reviewers know what they're saying... the atmosphere can be a little loud for me, I almost always get it to go... This little strip mall spot in Arlington is wonderful. Small family business, takes a minute to get the pizza....but so worth the wait. If you like a true Roman crust, look no further. I was able to find some complaints and some tips, but the pizza was easily worth 6 stars, so I deducted one. The first time here,I had a couple slices. Today,I ordered enough to take home, and ate what I could there. I'm not willing to make a definite statement, but let's just say this MAY be SOME of the BEST pizza I've ever had. The cheese is heaven. The sauce is worth a axx whopping and the dough is worth a second mortgage. It was that good. Maybe even addictive. Seriously, this pizza is worth its weight in gold. It blended together so perfectly, but I tried to taste only one ingredient at a time to savour that flavour!! I ordered a large (14" but not the extra large) pepperoni and mushroom, order of garlic knots, and order of toasted raviolis, ate what I could there, and took the rest home. Pizza: DOUGH: there is only one choice. Its either their way or no way at all. I would criticize that, but what they offer happens to be exactly what I would have asked for. Not too thin, not too thick. Not too crunchy, not too soft. Not too flavorful, not too bland. I'm sure it's completely hand crafted. I will say that I did not discard the crusts and I did not feel the urge to dip them in sauce. Even the crust ends are delicious. A COMPLAINT; my pie was cooked well done on one side and medium well on the other. How do you manage to do this? Do you cook it with one side hanging out the oven? I ate the well done slices in the restaurant knowing I would reheat the others later in my oven. Problem solved this time. CHEESE: I will just say not too much, not too little, not too salty, not too chewy. It also wasn't too delicious. Just right. PEPPERONIS: pepperoni is pepperoni. I just wish they weren't cooked under the cheese. They get that crispy bacon crunch on top of the cheese. MUSHROOMS: I'm having a hard time deciding if these are fresh or canned. Canned mushrooms have that slimy pickled feel where fresh mushrooms have a sort of crunch if not cooked thoroughly. I know these weren't cooked well because they were protected by the cheese, but yet they do have the slime of canned or sauteed. I was impressed with the size of the mushroom pieces once removed from under the cheese. The mushrooms have a delicious taste. My best guess is they order fresh mushrooms, slice them, and can them themselves in their own concoction. TOPPINGS: they have three different prices for different toppings. This was very odd and quite confusing deciding which toppings were more affordable. Who else does this? SAUCE: I just want a spoon and a bowl of this stuff. I've never had quite this exact taste. There was not too much or too little. To me the sauce tasted fresh like it was from garden vegetables. The sauce for the garlic knots really tasted like cooked down tomatoes. If I knew precisely how it was made and shared that online,I have a feeling I'd be hunted down and silenced! So I'll just say it's good and leave it at that. Garlic knots: these are more like a yeast roll or a dinner roll than what I expected for garlic knots. However,I like dinner rolls, and these are so much better than dinner rolls. I really like them. Toasted ravioli: I'm not certain if these are factory made or house made, but they are delicious. For the price I was very disappointed. I felt I did not get my value here. Takeout boxes: there's a picture on your pizza box, but no information. The sides are in plain paper bags. Why would you not want your name and number on them? At the very least, glue a flyer on the box!! People will take your food to parties and gatherings where your brand will be exposed to a larger market! If this was delivered to an event, nobody knows where it came from. They will ask and forget. If they SEE your name, it will stick in their brain. Trust me!!! The south entrance and North entrance have different names on the door. WTF? The south entrance was locked. Do they use this door? The south entrance says no guns allowed. The North entrance says no open carry. These mean two very different things. Are the rules different depending on which door you enter? COMPLAINT: there were a few tables eating in the North dining room. Nobody was seated in the south where their bar and stage is. A man was dusting everything in the ceiling in there. I'm sure he wouldn't have done it had that dining room been occupied, but I felt like twelve noon is not the time to clean the ceiling. Now the tables are dirty. I will commend them though on the cleanliness of the ceiling. Just the wrong time to do it is all. Well,I guess that's it! read more

I was part of a rehearsal dinner. My future stepdad is allergic to black olives and we had to send the salad back because it had black olives. It came back faster than normal and sure enough he had an anaphylactic reaction that night. When confronted about it, the owner denied the chefs wrong doing and said the tapes were erased. That is fishy and WRONG! And they said how could we confirm it was the black olives when we his doctor even knows it is a deadly allergy to him. I've talked about this to other people in ARLINGTON because no one should have the horrible service that Rizzi's has. Also, when waiting for a pizza to come back after ordering it separately, the cashier had a plate drop off of a shelf and onto the ground after looking up and seeing me look at her...she proceeds to put it in the dirty dishes.
