Complete hog-shit. Before I even walked through the front door, parking was a bit of a hassle. The parking-lot looked like a McFucking cavern, and I was lucky to find one not littered with stray rocks and shit. Finally, I walk into the place... The menu was hidden to where I had to noticeably bend down to read it. That was strike one for me. I finally ordered my food, and the guy taking my order had a soft voice. That irked me for some reason, as I'm hard-of-hearing, and get annoyed within micro-seconds when I can't hear someone the first time. The guy confused the ever-living shit outta me when I wanted a damn drink. I thought I'd get a large one, but nah, he had pulled a much smaller one out while urging me to sign. (Understandable, since I used my debit card.) So, got my number, got my drink, I'm heading over to the drink fountain and shit...I wanted to get a Pepsi, but instead got this clear liquid that tasted horrid. So that FUCKING SUCKED! Couldn't drink much, and now I was sitting there, angry as all get out. Food finally arrives...and it was nothing to write home about. It was average. Made my lips sting a little bit. Rating is -10 . Rudest staff I've ever encountered. Manager was by far ruder than his employees. I brought in a group of 6 ordered quite a bit of food. They brought us overdone pizza and forgot part of our order. When we went to get dessert at 8:45 they gave us the bums rush and told us they wanted us out of the restaurant before 9:00 as they were closing. They suggested we take the remainder of our food to go at 8:45 so they didn't get caught after 9:00. When we were offended the staff talked about us and made jokes about us in the kitchen so that we could hear them. Food burnt and sub par. Restaurant not clean. Where Milano's shines: After several call-in and pick-up orders I can tell you... these people must've trained at the Chik-Fil-A School of Customer Friendliness. I'm always greeted immediately with a genuine "we're glad you're here" smile and attitude. Like the above mentioned restaurant, it really stands out! The wife and I decided to give this place a try after reviewing the feedback on Yelp. I ordered the toasted ravioli as a starter and a ham/pepperoni Stromboli. The wife ordered their bruschetta pizza. The toasted ravioli was decent and by far the best part of the meal but it was clearly ordered through a food supplier. You can get the same thing from your local grocery store. My Stromboli tasted like it was stuffed with deli meat from Walmart. The marinara sauce it came with was very bland. The meat was scarce and that might've been a good thing since I'm not a fan of deli meat from Walmart in my Stromboli. I discovered this place by chance two years ago: they were close to the office when doing a network conversion! I lucked out because the food is flat out awesome! I've only ordered take out pizza, because I had a team to feed, but every time I've ordered it's been a huge hit. Speaking of "huge": the 28" Cheese pizza is awesome! I don't know that I could take the cheese pizza eating challenge, but I'd like to give it a shot sometime. The basics are that 2 people eating it in one hour, I think, will get the pizza free and maybe get a t-shirt. I spend a good bit of time thinking about who I could partner with to polish off that much pizza, but I have yet to actually attempt this gluttonous event! I'll close with this: The people who work here are just as good as the food. I've always been impressed with the way they greet and care for their customers. If I could leave a negative star I would. We just got a refund and left due to complete unprofessional behavior over having no ice. (To be accurate, the ice they dumped in the machine as we walked in was apparently stuck I'm not completely sure). We asked the young man at the counter about ice and he said "we don't have any I don't know what to tell you" so we sat back down and waited, thinking they'd maybe go next door to get more or offer one of the cold can / bottle drinks as replacements since no one wants fountain drinks with no ice. No one ever did. My husband walked up to ask again and give our cups back, turned around and the "cook" said "he's just an angry little man acting an ass" (not aware that I was with the "angry little man"). I stated as such and then asked for a full refund It's such a disappointment to not be allowed to patronize small business strictly due to the incompetent, childish, rude staff who very obviously have no business working in any establishment.
