We ordered from here a bunch of times while moving. It's fantastic! I didn't take pictures of all the food we had or the menu but everything is good. Pizza, Italian food, Greek food, burgers, salads.... The list goes on and on. Desserts are a must. Service was always friendly. Our order came out perfectly every time. We watched as the server that was supposed to take care of us walked past us without acknowledging us for 20 minutes. We've been long time customers for a long time, but that ended tonight. I have lived most of my life in Tipton County and have grown up eating at Olympic with my entire family for longer than I can even remember. I probably dined here as a literal infant, and never once in my entire life can I remember being remotely disappointed by the service or food at Olympic. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the salad bar is the best (and perhaps only, to my knowledge) in Tipton County, and the ranch they serve is so good, it has become the metric by which I rate all other ranches since I was a child-- Olympic salad bar ranch is the PEAK of ranches. Great burgers, stuffed mushrooms, fried shrimp, steaks, the smothered chicken is fantastic, the other apps and all the sides, amazing pizza and wings too. You could walk in and blindly throw a dart at the menu and I am confident you would be satisfied with your order. I have fond childhood memories of making a biiiig ol' salad and being so excited to use the ice cream machine after my meal. I also appreciate that they have maintained the building and decor so well over the years too. Even after all this time, the restaurant has a great atmosphere and doesn't feel stale or dated, and it always smells of the yummy breadsticks when you walk in. I will continue to be a customer here until either I leave Atoka, or Olympic does, and hopefully that isn't any time soon! :) read more

The service here is very good and the staff is friendly. I love their pizza and salads. I'm not a fan of neither the buffet nor salad bar. The seating area appears clean. I like the booths best because I hate that cafeteria feel by sitting at tables in the open. I feel as though I need to branch out on their daily specials to really give another review.. for what I eat, I give them a 5 star rating. read more

Although I had a couple of mediocre buffet experiences here before (food was just OK, reminiscent of Ryan's or Shoney's), I decided to give them another shot. This time I figured I'd order from the menu (take-out, online). I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The fettuccini alfredo was delicious, the salad was huge and fresh, my order was exactly on time and the staff was friendly and quite efficient given the packed house (Friday evening). They have a decent salad and soup bar for lunch reasonably priced. The potato soup (which I'm not supposed to have, but struggle to resist) was delish and the greens weren't wilted. Wish that it offered a few more low/no carb options like cottage cheese or chicken chunks to help it be a little more dieter friendly. Overall it was good. read more

I've heard of this place from many folks but have never been due to distance. Was in Munford and took advantage. I don't know who is in that kitchen but they did the thing. A very diverse menu but nothing tasted like anything else and that's always a plus when you can get pizza, steak and catfish at the same place. read more

Ordered take out and made the mistake of ordering pizza and other menu items without the knowledge that those orders are separated and treated differently in the kitchen- the restaurant was busy, and there we're not enough people handing pickup and host area. I even overheard one of the two people working the desk as a server for help and was flatly rejected. I received my pizzas and the confusion started there- - after helping about 4 other customers they noticed I hadn't left yet and asked me what was up- I told them I was waiting on more food but it was not on the ticket they brought with my pizza- they explained that pizza tickets go to one printer and dinner items go to another- so I waited more... pizzas in my lap, for the appetizer - after a bit I asked again and was told the kitchen was working on it- no timeline offered, pizza getting colder. After another extended wait another host let me know it would be 2 more minutes, it was more like 5 more and I finally got out of there with pies that had been in possession for about 20 minutes, now cold - not a great experience and no real acknowledgement of a problem. read more

If you're going to write "Ask about our filet mignon" on your specials board, you should at least inform your staff what to say when someone does ask about it. Went in on a Thursday because it was prime rib day. My daughter wanted the buffet area. Buffet is closed on prime rib day and oh by the way, when we sat down to order, they ran out of prime rib. We've never had bad service or food here. It's always good and fresh. Their bread is fresh made here every morning. And they've got the best pizza from Tipton to Madison county, better than any pizza chain I've ever tried. Our server this Sunday afternoon is a 30-something man with dark hair. I have found the worst pizza ever created. This stuff is nasty. I would stay away from it at all cost. These people have clearly never even had pizza. The cheese to dough ratio is way off. Well, after a long day of cleaning and doing chores around the house I did not want to cook. Took the hubby and Brother in law to dinner to help them for all their hard work. I was not impressed at this location. I've been to the one in Arlington and it is much cleaner. Let's start.... There were a lot of tables that needed to be cleaned off. Lots of dirty dishes around. The floor looked like a bunch of little kids were there and no one cleaned after they left. The salad bar was a little shabby. Old lettuce (brown pieces) that you had to pick through. Soup was basically broth in the container (supposed to be Potato soup but there were no potatoes in there) Got our entrees and the hubby ordered a Make your own Calzone. The server brought it out and it was VERY UNDERCOOKED dough. He started to cut in to it and showed the server. She took it back to get it fixed. During this my brother in law had finished our dinners and hubby was still waiting on his. She came back and asked if everything was okay and we were like, where's his food? Oh it's coming soon. Do you want it for here or to go? Hello, we were there to eat NOT to take it home. She finally brought him the new one and it was still half cooked. Needless to say, we just brought it home and finished cooking it at the house. The server did not care that he had to wait. No manager came over to apologize for the delay. I had been coming here for years when I lived in the area. Recent visit back home to see family had us stop here for a quick lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Their pizza is always amazing. Give the Greek pizza a try if you really crave feta! Their salad bar is really good as well, very few items, but they're top quality. They also have a single pot of soup at the bar also, and it varies day to day on what it is. Every single soup that I've had is great, especially their vegetable chowder with LOTS of cabbage in it. Family usually gets varied dishes. I either opt for the pizza, or the beef tips. Even their burgers are awesome. Never had a complaint, and the staff there is always friendly. read more

We eat here all the time and normally have a decent time - today was not a satisfying experience! Entered at 1235 - plenty of open seats front desk checking out three parties. Waited 10 minutes to be seated after five servers saw us waiting and the line at the front desk and didn't seat us. Finally get seated - no server for over five minutes to get things rolling so we rolled! Get it together Olympic Atoka - we will try again in the future since we have history. The salad bar is awful very little choices to choose from, the lettuce was sitting in about 3 inches of water. I had to drain the lettuce to even put it in my dish. The bar was messy with alot of spills all over it and there was items mixed with other items all over the bar. The people who work the front register are snotty. The floor needed to be swept. The menu is old and tired with the same frozen and reheated food they have always had. The only saving grace to the place is the pizza. read more

I've been going here since I was a very small child. It's *edible*, but nothing very special. Food is pretty bland, and it's all Sysco. The waitresses will admit that to you. It has made me sick before when I got chicken tenders. Also the manager Eva is so hateful that it's unreal. She's just mean to everyone EXCEPT the owner. I don't understand why she's still there, and when we go and we get her it actually ruins my experience. The only reason I go is because my parents drag me with them and I try not to make a scene. read more

When it comes to local in T-county, Olympic is the best you're going to get. We don't go there too often because it is pricey for local cuisine but you will always get your money's worth and without the drive into Cordova. Love their pizza and salad bar! The food was good but our waitress was confused. Here is an example of the conversation between the waitress and me... WAITRESS: are you ready to order? ME: I want the country fried steak, grilled onions and mashed potatoes. WAITRESS: you can only get one side...either the grilled onions OR mashed potatoes. ME: Oh. Well, just give me the grilled onions. WAITRESS: You can get two sides if you don't get the salad bar. ME: So I can't get two sides AND a salad bar? WAITRESS: Yes, you can get two sides and a salad bar but you have to pay EXTRA for the second side. If you want mashed potatoes too you have to pay whatever the price (the regular price) is on the menu. ME: Okay. I want that. So give me the grilled onions AND mashed potatoes. WAITRESS: you can't get two sides. This was a never ending conversation. read more

Our waitress Eva is always awesome. The only reason it's four instead of 5 for this visit is the attitude of the owners son or grandson. Apparently he's po'd he has to work. The buffet was out of banana pudding. He was refilling the onions on the bar. I walked over and asked if we could get some more banana pudding. He never said a word just shook his head yes and walked away. As he walked back in the kitchen, there were 3 waitresses standing at the door and they all turned and stared at me so I know he said something about me to them as he walked back in the kitchen. Dear Olympic if you don't want your business to falter, you need more adults in the business. He needs a major attitude adjustment. The food is great, from what I have had. Buffet is a great deal also. The ice cream machine they have is a little wonky, the ice cream comes out already semi-melted, and the bowl that I used for the ice cream had some food particles in it. Service of my particular waitress was excellent. read more
