Steak Breakfast Burrito

Service is fine, food has good flavor, but for 11.50 the size of this burrito is CRIMINAL! The steak is just ok. It's not super tender. It's seasoned well but it did say it has crispy potatoes in it and I did not taste them at all. I'm disappointed

Small place, quiet at 3 pm between rushes. Excellent food and standup people at a fair price for the times. Burger came with mushrooms instead of the garlic, I actually like mushrooms a lot and the gentleman threw the garlic on when I pointed it out no problem. Glad I gave this place a shot while up here, looking forward to trying the Cubano.

The Garlic Burger came with fresh lettuce, tomato and onions. Would have liked more garlic (I like garlic with every bite). My GF ordered the fish and liked it. We are both looking to try other menu items.

Oh my, whoever RJ is they are a freaking genius! I had the hardest time deciding what to order being my first time, however I landed on the RJ Monte Cristo after a random guest heard my struggle for a decision and suggested it. This thing is epic! Classic monte cristo sandwich dipped and deep fried then served with a sprinkle of powdered sugar and a side of jelly. Say what?!! Pair that heavenly sandwich with their mouth watering and perfect fries with fry sauce and you have a 10/10. I can't recommend this enough. Literally do whatever you have to do to find yourself in the area with an excuse for RJ's!! Enjoy

Stopped in to try this place out. We've heard good things about the fluffy burger and Mac n cheese burger. Fluffy burger was great! It was delicious, great proportions, so good. Mac n cheese was pretty bland, and very small size. A very over priced burger. We liked it enough to give it 4 stars.

We both ordered hamburgers, and were pleasantly surprised to see that the food came with a side of crispy French fries + a cup of fry sauce, and a fountain drink. A total bargain! We really enjoyed our food, and my husband kept raving about their attention to detail. The buns were buttered and toasted, our juicy hamburger patties were topped with flavorful pastrami and bacon, a generous mound of shredded lettuce, yummy pickles, thin sliced red onion.... Everything was very good and juicy. The different cheeses we had (cheddar and blue cheese) were delicious and good quality. The facility was clean as can be. Nothing was out of place, and it smelled clean. Good for kids. Laid back environment in the dining area. Terrific employees, hardworking and kind. Five out of five stars. Thank you. We will be back.

We drove all the way from St George and hungry before we continue our road trip to Banff. Checked Yelp and they were right on this place is dog friendly. The owner reassured me it was ok for my small dog to come inside with us. Our lunch was very good too....fish sandwich and onion rings. I recommend this place.

$12 turkey and avocado with 2 thin slices of turkey & one slice of cheese. Pretty sad!

really bummed out as you walk in and see pics of all these stacked burgers. I ordered a turkey and avocado sandwich for $12 and came with one slice of Swiss cheese and two thin slices of turkey.

Seeing some of these negative reviews is honestly surprising because Our Kitchen Cafe is amazing…read more We have been regulars at this restaurant for almost 3 years now, and recently, have been planning our future living situation around it as we feel it'll be tough to move away! Everyone is so friendly and the service is quick. I remark every single time about how quick they are to serve us our food. They have remembered my family and bring us our drinks without even needing to ask. Their food is delicious, and we appreciate the authenticity. If you haven't been, and aren't near by to partake in their amazing food regularly, you HAVE to try the Philly asada omelet. You won't regret it!! I saw a comment about the restaurant being dark, but the lighting seems great. Anything much brighter would probably upset my eyes, especially early in the morning (as that's when we typically go). Someone also mentioned the wait is long. The restaurant isn't huge, and if you go at a time when everyone else is also going, usually any time after 9, then of course it'll be busy. Go early and it'll be faster, but either way, the wait is completely worth it. Thank you, to the Our Kitchen Cafe family for being so kind to me and my family. We appreciate your business and hope you continue to succeed!

You guys! I'm bummed I am posting this because we recently moved to the area and I want to do…read moreeverything I can to support locally but unfortunately we didn't have a great experience at Janet's. Let me share what I did like first: We enjoyed the vibe inside, everyone felt like they knew each other and knew the staff and that's exactly what we love about Mom + Pop Shops. We ate in the morning and the light was shining pretty gnarly into the glass windows, I appreciated that they had a make shift covering that they put up to help with the amount of sun that is let in. Anything is better than nothing for sure! Also, I really liked the hashbrowns- that's where this place gets a star for me because I hateeee when breakfast/brunch places do the home style potatoes instead of these yummy shredded hashbrowns. I asked for extra crispy and I felt that they delivered. Now let's get into why I am sad to leave this review- but I have to be honest if we had a choice between this place and Penny Ann's it's going to be Penny Ann's no contest. This establishment is very small (about 8 tables) and not well kept. There is dirt, dust, and cobwebs everywhere and if the dining area is not well kept- it makes me very nervous about what it looks like where my food is being cooked. Also as a heads up- the French Toast I'm almost 100% sure is sourdough. We did not know that and there was no writing saying that was the case so it was unfortunately an unpleasant surprise. Also while I was eating I bit into this hard wire/string thing and that immediately met my last straw and unfortunately we decided to ask for the check and our family left. Unsatisfied and unsure why this restaurant had such high ratings. Super bummed- I honestly don't think we will come back until I hear that they've made improvements on the cleanliness of the establishment.

The place was beautiful, pink and floral. The server was nice The drinks were delicious The food however lacked something, it was a little bland and plain. We did peep out some breakfast joints around the area the night before and Penny Ann's Cafe popped up. The reviews were good so we decided to head over after we grabbed gas. This joint is conviently next to Costco so we didn't have to venture far too find it. Walking in, we were instantly greeted by the hostess. We were sat at a booth by the breakfast bar. Yohe ( I know his name started with a Y) greeted us. There was a gentleman named Cesar that was shadowing him for training. They both grabbed our drink order while my mom and I were checking out the menu. I did creep out the menu the night before. You can not not be curious over these famous "heavenly hot cakes". When you add the word heavenly to hot cakes, you know they are going to be hella good! So for breakfast, I got the Big breakfast which comes with a little bit of everything. My mom got French toast that came with a side of eggs and bacon. My plate was no joke! I got a good helping of potatoes smothered in country gravy, a chunky sausage link, bacon, ham, eggs and 2 fluffy pancakes. I'm so happy I didn't get the toast. I was offered to have my toast turned into French toast and as much as I wanted to say yes, I declined. I had enough carb options with my huge stack of pancakes and breakfast potatoes. I knew the French toast would put me over the edge. My potatoes were perfectly cooked! Crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. The country gravy on top of my potatoes was savory and thick. I normally don't like sausage gravy but this one was really good! My eggs were fried hard, just the way I like them. My bacon was crispy. I do like my sausage links to be overcooked and I forgot to tell my server about having it overcooked. The sausage was hearty and big! It just needed a little more browning for my liking. I did have a couple bites of my ham, I was just super full to finish it. Now, the pancakes were topped tier! They were fluffy! Airy! Topped with a hefty chunk of butter. The pancake syrup was warm. The combination of everything listed above made eat bite of pancake magical. I ate half of my stack and had to tap out. I really could have finished that whole plate of pancakes but I know my stomach would be so upset with me on my 5 hour trip home. What I appreciate most about this joint is how clean it is! I love that the syrup containers, salt and pepper shakers, hot sauce, ketchup and creamers are all cleaned and put in the back after each table is done. It's amazing how many condiment containers are so dirty but not here. I feel safe using thier condiments here. Especially with my new kidney and having to be extra precautious with communal things, that was one thing I didn't have to worry about today. The service is great! The pancakes are legit good. The venue is clean and nicely ran. My meal was fantastic! I look forward to bringing my husband here in April so he can try the Heavenly hot cakes. He loves pancakes and I know he will love these ones. And I will most definitely have to have my hot cakes Dubai chocolate style! Truly a must try. See you in April!

The in-restaurant menu gives the option of ordering fries, onion rings, or a cup of soup for an extra charge ($4.25 for soup). So I ordered a cup of the French onion with my burger. My wife ordered the Monte Cristo crepe with the French onion. I really enjoyed the burger, which was spicy and flavorful. My wife did not like the Monte Cristo crepe, which was lacking in texture and not very tasty. Apparently a Monte Cristo doesn't work as a crepe? The French onion soup was a glutenous ball as the bread became incredibly soggy in the broth. But the broth itself was flavorful. The food was mixed, but the bigger problem came when it was time to pay the bill. I was shocked when it turned out to be almost $20 higher than expected. I was charged $12.95 for each soup. I pointed out the discrepancy and the server took one of the soup charges off the bill. I pointed out that this was still an overcharge based on the listed price of $4.25 on the menu, but apparently the "cup of soup" on the menu did not include French onion, which is something that should have been clearly shown on the menu or at least explained by the server when I ordered it. Not wishing to argue the matter further I paid the bill with an abbreviated tip and left. Given the lack of communication and the exorbitant prices charged for middling food, we will not be back.
