Specifically, I worked with Levon as my primary attorney, and my conversations and experiences with him were extremely professional, succinct and informational. I felt respected during the entire process, which is very valuable to me, and every time I brought a concern, viewpoint or question to his attention, he made sure to answer it the best he could, within specific guidelines. Additionally, he always made sure to clue me in to when the situation needed touches of realism. I was straightforward and thorough in the evidence I brought to him, and received a higher level of service back. In the past, I've dealt with insurance agents and they've disregarded my claims. Sometimes the small claims were paid out though. But I had never been as injured as I was when I was in a motorcycle accident. When I was looking for a motorcycle accident attorney I found Sergio and his law firm. I wanted to work with someone close by in Los Angeles so I went in and spoke with him about my accident. Sergio asked me everything about the crash and how it happened. I was riding on the highway when I went around a driver who was on my left hand side. When I was changing lanes, he changed as well, but without turning on his blinker. I couldn't swerve in time and he hit my front wheel, causing me to lose control of the bike and fall. I landed hard on the freeway and rolled into the shoulder. The guy who hit me parked and came over to help. He called an ambulance and waited while another car stopped and someone else got out to help. I went to the hospital and was diagnosed with a neck sprain, spinal cord damage, lacerations, and other bodily injuries. I had to get over two dozen stitches for some of the rips. Thankfully the driver who stopped to help was able to get some much needed information for me, like the other driver's license plate and insurance. He texted it to me so I could keep the record in my phone. It turned out I needed to wear a neck brace for a while and I couldn't go back to work for a few weeks. My job as a driver for a taxi company was compromised since I couldn't look behind me and it would be too dangerous for me to be on the road. Sergio was a great listener and really knew what he was talking about when he started to explain all the legal details of what would happen next. He would examine all the evidence I gave him, like the bills from the emergency room and the testimony that I couldn't work, and he'd reach out to the driver who helped and to the responsible driver's insurance company. I was taking painkillers and needed to be re-evaluated to see how the damage healed up, so I didn't have a lot of capabilities. Even more than that, though, Sergio was way more knowledgeable than I was in the field, so I had no issues with him handling the case completely. The driver had full coverage, so Sergio requested compensation for all the damages that racked up - medical bills, my damaged motorcycle (which needed new wheels and had to be repaired because the front part of the frame bent and scraped), my missed wages from work, and pain and suffering damages for emotional trauma. He said it was a lot of standard requests and because I wasn't in the wrong we deserved the maximum. The issue was that the insurance company wasn't going to make it easy. The insurance company didn't reply for days and Sergio had to repeatedly contact them to get them to acknowledge the incident and the claim. He said that a lot of insurance companies tried to stonewall people so they would eventually give up and be happy with whatever was given to them, but he didn't plan on letting that happen. Sergio said that if it was necessary we'd go to trial, and because of the supporting testimony from the other driver and all the evidence we had, there was a very high chance we'd win. A lot of the time, he said, insurance companies didn't want to go to court because they didn't have a great counter to a lot of evidence. Sure enough, after a few months of communication and negotiation, Sergio got the company to send us a check for full compensation for all the damages he requested. What really sold me on Sergio as being the best attorney I could have found was how he handled everything after the case had finished. He was persistent in finding me a good doctor and therapist who would make sure I was fine in the coming weeks. I had never needed any rehabilitation so his efforts made me feel like I was really appreciated and cared for at the firm.

I have gotten two emails telling me that I need to contact another lawyer and better hurry up because time is limited. Despite the change in firms, I experienced the same pattern: unanswered calls and messages, no meaningful updates, and no clear explanation of the status of my case. As a client, I have a reasonable expectation of timely communication, transparency, and diligence none of which have been provided. This matter has now spanned several years, and being repeatedly ignored has caused unnecessary stress and concern about whether my case is being properly handled. An attorney has an ethical obligation to keep clients informed and to act with reasonable promptness. In my experience, those obligations were not met. I strongly advise anyone considering this firm to get all communication expectations in writing and to keep detailed records. If communication and representation standards are not upheld, remember that filing a complaint with the State Bar is an available and appropriate course of action. I will be filing a bar complaint myself.

She handled the repairs to my vehicle, which entailed consulting with the auto body, the rental car, and the insurance company in a flawless manner. They helped me with a process that was…read morecompletely foreign to me and made sure I was rightfully compensated after my motorcycle accident. In my case, Tony was very attentive with the details. It was even made a little more difficult because my motorcycle, a 1974 Honda CB550, was too old to be found in any blue book. When the driver's insurance had made an initial offer considering my motorcycle a total loss, it was suspiciously low compared to how it was valued on the second hand market, citing 2 motorcycle repair shops as giving the appraisal. When contacted, both of these repair shops deny ever giving an appraisal stating that they could not do so without seeing the motorcycle first. It's clear to me that this was a lie by the driver's insurance company to pay as little as possible and without Tony's help, I don't know how I would have navigated this space. He went above and beyond and I'm extremely grateful!
