Looked on Yelp and google and came across RMB. Decided after a years worth of growth it was time to get the beard trimmed. I arrived for my 3:00 apt around 2:05. Eddie was with his current client, offered me a beverage and a place to sit and said he'd be with me shortly. By 2:30 I was seated in the barber chair. My experience was nothing short of excellent. They certainly didn't need my help, or another 5* rating but I'm going to give it anyway, I came on the morning of my wedding and received a haircut and straight razor shave, let me tell you for those 2 hours was the least stressful part of my day (until she said I do of course) but I thank them! Had a great experience from the get-go- called in for a last-minute beard trim and got in luckily. Tanner was polite and friendly, introduced me to my guy, Jeremiah, and offered up a libation. Came to RMB on the morning of my wedding with my groomsmen. I am glad we did. From the welcoming barbers, to the free drinks, letting us choose the music and movie playing, it was a great experience. It was great relaxing start to our day. My beard was trimmed and neaten up preparing me for my big day. My groomsman said his face never felt smoother and appreciate the skin and beard tips. My other groomsman hadn't been out much since the pandemic and his beard and hair showed that. They were able to in one morning turn him back into his presentable self. Well for starters.... he took two hours for a child hair cut lol. Omg I fell asleep. Literally made my babies head look like a bowling ball. My sons face is round as it is. Barber (Eddie) was kind. both barbers asked me if I wanted something to drink 4 times. (All 4 times exhaling their drink menu) I understand you have drinks to offer. But after 2 times it's like bro I'm good. Any how my sons hair didn't come out how we wanted. Maybe he didn't understand what I was asking. But..... regardless a haircut should never take that long. Ever. It was 1 hour 51 minutes. I only know because I text my sons Dad as soon as son was in chair Then it was 40.00 for child haircut. I have no problems spending money for services but no matter how many drinks you offer or how "cool" the shop is intended to be, a barber is a barber. Keep it simple, efficient, respect people's time, and charge a normal price. With tip I paid 50.00 and two hours of my time and for a hair cut that looked nothing like we asked. Tried all three barbers that worked there then and two were good The first of three though used clippers only on my curly hair then said when done 'next time I can use the scissors too'. I should have not agreed to this in the first place. My response was to switch to another barber there who yes used the scissors almost always especially for curls. Location itself inside is nice. RMB hosted a "shave" party for my husband and his groomsmen the day before our wedding. All of the guys had such an amazing time, they were so pampered that a couple of them even fell asleep in the chairs! There were beers and snacks for everyone to enjoy while they waited their turn in the chair to be expertly manicured by their amazing staff.
