Needed to get my boys haircuts called to see if they would be able to take them since it was after five. They were super busy but Erik said he could get them in. So happy we waited, my boys loved their hair cuts the environment was great all the barbers there tonight were super friendly. I had found where I will be taking my boys moving forward thank you Erik!

The place was nice, very clean. My boyfriend got his hair cut by Bianca. The nicest girl ever, easy conversation and a great haircut. She then cut my hair and It was great. Definitely becoming regulars!!

This has been my go to barber shop not only for me but also my son. Eric has been cutting my son's hair since he was 2 and I've had him as a barber for almost 10 years. When I bring my kids in to the shop they play with his kids who are a part of the shop. It is a great family oriented barbershop and I will continue to go as well as recommend others to go for their barbering needs. read more

Was a walk in. I asked if they took children and they said yes. Everyone was super polite and the wait wasn't an issue... but I'll post pictures of my 3 year old son and you can make your own judgement. My son usually loves haircuts and sits still. He begged me for this haircut because we walk by this shop often and something about it intrigues him. I'm really sad for my son and now we don't have a choice other than buzzing his head I didn't notice the cuts unfortunately until we got home and my husband took him out of the car seat and immediately got upset, otherwise I would have said something. We've taken him to barbers at least 10 times now and never had this happen. I don't understand. I will say the barber refunded me. I just want to warn other parents. read more

Go see my barber Juhn! He'll put a fade on you like the Eagles did to the Chiefs! Juhn is precise, takes his time and ensures a tight cut. The barbershop is clean and the vibes in there are refreshing with good music and sports decor. Glad the shop is 15 minutes away!! read more

I've been taking my two boys to Rev at Tame Barber Studio for 2 years now and we won't go anywhere else. He's fantastic with kids (and adults!) and always gives us all exactly the haircuts we want. Rev is a real pro. He's meticulous and takes his time to make sure everything looks perfect. He's also great at listening to what we want and making suggestions based on our hair type and style. The shop itself is always clean and welcoming, and Rev is a friendly guy who makes the whole experience enjoyable. Issa vibe here!! Quality cuts for sure, so don't expect to get your 10 minute in and out Supercuts/Greatclips cut. I'm surprised there's only a few reviews... Walked in with my two boys and had Ray and Gilbert help us out. Everyone is chill, and friendly. It was our first time here and all the barbers seemed to have amazing talent. Erik is the best barber by far in this area! He's a true professional and has cut my sons and I for over a year now. We love going to his studio and it's obvious the care and attention he pays to his clients. He always has really good suggestions for what styles to do and takes time to make sure you're satisfied. He's also super patient which is nice and makes a big difference when he is cutting my 6 and 3 year olds hair. Check this guy out!!! read more

Walked in needing a haircut in the shave walked out with clean lines even went ahead and cut the part into my hair using the straight edge razor Chris was my barber and he did a great job with my hot shave Even taking the time to make sure that the towel didn't burn my skin before he put it down. Overall it was a very cool very clean very hip barbershop and 10 out of 10 would definitely return next time I have a chance. read more

I had the pleasure of taking my 7 year old son here for a haircut. The process of making a appointment online was super easy and convenient. Erik did a awesome job at keeping my son entertained while cutting his hair. (My son hates haircuts) I absolutely love the way it came out, it's EXACTLY what I had asked for. Stopped by this spot yesterday after seeing it had 5 stars. Worst experience in a barbershop in a while if it wasn't that i had an audit i would of waited for my regular barber.. Sat in for about 20 min before a barber came from the back to help me out. Haircut took over an hour and it was a below average fade, but $65 for a below average fade and a beard trim. Then im a critique so i saw 4 other barbers cutting in there and there fades where all below average. Dont stop here only if you have money to throw away on a bad haircut. Just saying. read more

Tame Barber shop is a all around hair studio. All the barbers are talented and take pride in giving the best cut they can give. Specially my current barber Chris. Not to mention they are all welcoming. I recently did my SMP procedure with Erik and after three sessions my hair and confidence came back to life. I got my SMP done by Erik here at tame barber studio (just finished the 3rd session) I was kind of hesitant at first but after just the first session I was a believer and I definitely would recommend this to anybody on the fence! After the last session man was I impressed with the results. Erik caters to all your needs and answers all your questions. I used to wear hats about 5 days out of the week and not wear a hat 2 days out of the week but now that has been reversed. To anybody thinking about getting SMP... go ahead and do it! You get same day results, fast recovery and a boost in your confidence! you will not regret it! read more

Booked an appointment online, came to the shop at the scheduled time, and was told "I'll be right with you". After waiting 30 min for an "appointment" I figured a haircut wasn't worth my time. I completely understand things happen and a good haircut should never be rushed but if I'm holding up my end of the deal by showing up on time the least that could have been done was a simple text letting me know to come a little bit later so that I could get other stuff done. Waiting 15 min for a "scheduled" appointment is reasonable, waiting 30+ min is not. Might just be because I'm a "new" client and I by no means am trying to drag anyone, just putting my experience out there. read more

I specifically asked for a simple neck cleanup, which took only a few minutes, yet they charged $20 for that tiny touch-up while a full haircut is only $35. That pricing makes absolutely no sense and feels like they're taking advantage of walk-ins. Everyone was friendly enough at first to get you in the door, but once the service was done the attitude changed. The manager didn't seem service-oriented at all and showed no interest in making the situation right. For a place that should value repeat customers, this experience made it clear they don't. Avoid this barbershop -- you probably won't want to come back a second time. The barber even missed hairs on my neck that were covered by the itchy paper around my neck. Careless. Do better, Sunset!

Tame Barber Studio is truly a one-stop shop for men. This shop was suggested to me by a local tailor in the same plaza for a haircut as I was preparing for a short notice job interview. The cut was terrific. I brought in a hair and beard style photo, and Sean duplicated it at Tame. Additionally, Tame recently added an SMP (Scalp Micropigmentation) service performed by Master Barber and 6em/mp (SMP) Certified Erik Agcaoili. I just finished my second SMP session by Erik as of the review, and Erik did a beautiful job covering up an unsightly scalp scar transforming the scar to look like natural short hair. Found this place while waiting to be sat at Gin sushi. It was hot that day and the men inside offered my in-laws (old folks) their couch to sit on and cold water while we waited.That was enough to bring my 11 month in for his second haircut ever. Came back the following week to get his haircut. Of course my baby screamed his head off but the barber did an amazing job and was so understanding. I felt so bad because they had a full shop of customers but he didn't seem bothered. I wish I caught his name for the next time I bring my baby back. According to my husband it's really hard to find a good barber these day so imagine finding one for a scared baby. She really takes the time to get to know your style and listen to what you want. She gave me the best cut I have had in a very long time! On top of that her skin services are amazing too! I went to Erik for a SMP procedure & it turned out perfect. He explained everything in detail on the entire procedure & made sure it was to my liking before he actually started it. He made it as comfortable as possible & we chit chatted during.
