They use plastic bags in the pedicure bowl but never clean or wipe them, also pay attention as the gentleman named Hi, provided a pedicure, then slid over to my pedicure with the same dirty tools and towels. Needless to say, I had to request clean towels and tools and explain to him this was unsanitary. There was no spray cleaner in sight - he had to go to the back room to get it. I also noticed that the owner goes the extra mile in using terms and expressions from our community. It's unnecessary, just be yourself as I am sure you don't speak that way in your culture. This does not win brownie points and is annoying. Examples include, "Hey girlfriend." The entire conversation was sprinkled with fitting into the black community. Then reverted to her language and laughed speaking to her coworkers. This is demeaning, just be yourself. Polo Nails should be fined and mandated to clean and maintain sanitary conditions. The unsanitary conditions clearly express that they don't care about our community, they come in and provide low service and we accept it. Ladies wake up and run from this nasty salon. Lucky for me, two of the three people waiting with me came for eyebrow waxing. The first thing I noticed was all employees was masked and wore them properly. Hand sanitizer was available at check in, and all guests were required to wash hands prior to service. Hannah did my services and she was nice. I waited a couple days to post, as some other reviews mentioned chipped polish days after services. I will admit, I didn't pull up reviews, until I was already in the pedicure chair. I glad I didn't see before, as I may have went elsewhere. I did witness employees wiping stations and pedicure bowls between customers, but the floor and chairs and area around the sink needed care. I would have liked more attention to detail as there was a lot of dust, perhaps from acrylic. My overall experience was very pleasant. My gel manicure and regular pedicure was $60 plus tax. Horrible service and customer treatment…read more I came in for a gel pedicure at 10:15am. The woman KNEW it was a gel pedicure and proceed to do my service and finished at 11:00am. They moved me to another chair stating someone would come and finish my gel polish. 40 minutes later someone comes and finishes my service. I didn't complain or anything I waited patiently. When I went to pay I kindly asked for a discount because not one of them advised me that only 1 person in the shop can do gel polish. Tran the owner I'm assuming laugh in my face and said no we can't help that they were busy .... It was only 5 people in there! Don't waste your money I will NEVER go back even if someone gave me a gift card !!!
