I can say this was one of the smoothest experiences I've ever had buying a car. Chanlor was great and there was no funny business, up-charging, surprises or any fuss. I was given through videos of the car detailing the ins and out, Price was agreed upon quickly and Sam from finance handled all the paperwork and kept in communication throughout the process. Only had to get a few papers notarized and mailed back. The car was delivered in perfect shape right to my home at a time that took my needs into account. I found this car on Edmunds.com and drove to Plano, TX from Lafayette, LA (approx. six hours) to see and test drive this car in person. I read YELP reviews that stated European Motors had a habit of running customers credit multiple times, selling cars that customers have left deposits for, immediately having mechanical issues shortly after purchasing, and having to wait months for their vehicle if they utilized the in-house mechanics. Being nervous is an understatement but it was too late to turn back. Plus I was only inspecting it. It took roughly fifteen minutes just to retrieve the vehicle. I couldn't wrap my head around the reason for the delay. I saw where the car was parked upon arriving to the dealership and I just witnessed the salesman reverse out of said parking spot. I honestly didn't expect the car to be in such great condition . The car was in immaculate shape. I was given a very small radius to test drive the vehicle. Upon entering the vehicle, I noticed the "low fuel" warning sign was illuminated. The car drove well and was properly maintained by the previous owners. I purchased a CARFAX beforehand and saw the previous owners have barely driven this car. There was a faint burning smell but I thought it may have been something in the air from the surrounding area entering through the car's vent. I informed Sam that I was planning to pay cash and was expecting to receive compensation from a recent car accident sometime later the following week. I repeatedly stated I had no intentions of financing or leaving a deposit for the car. I only asked to be informed if the car was sold so I wouldn't make a blank trip. I agreed to update them on the status of the funds and would be in contact with in a few days. I thought it was understood the following Wednesday at the earliest or Friday at the latest(it was a Saturday.) I received a call right at opening time Monday morning inquiring about an update of the funds by the salesman I spoke with. I replied,"I told you we would be in touch later in the week." On Wednesday I was contacted by Sam where I was given the "out the door" price which included taxes. Once again Sam inquired about leaving a deposit to hold the car. I declined again. We agreed to contact each other on Friday to setup an appointment for Saturday. I arrived two hours early on Saturday. My appointment was right at opening. While waiting, I realized that there are almost just as many inoperable vehicles in the lot as there are inventory cars. Sam arrived and opened. I was seated on the couch waiting for my appointment to begin when two more salespeople arrived shortly after(male and female.) The female salesperson didn't introduce herself but offered me water. Sam seemed puzzled by my decision to decline the extended warranty and asked if I,"routinely make major purchases without warranty?" Then snarkily says,"well I guess there's no more money." I wasn't offended. I was prepared for his antics from reading the reviews and found it amusing. I replied," you knew I was paying cash and didn't offer it beforehand. Plus those warranties are trash(check out Accurate Auto on YouTube/TikTok about "CarShield.") I am familiar with this car from previously having one and I can do some of the work myself. There are also shops within walking distance of my home that I trust to do everything else. Sam gave me an updated CARFAX that showed European Motors just changed the oil. I completed the purchase then made my way to return my rental car. I drove around the back of the lot and saw the car parked by the mechanic shop.

I wanted a 2nd opinion and after he already changed one side advises me that he thought there was nothing wrong with them in the first place. I paid $500 to replace wheel hubs and bearings that he thought nothing was wrong. I provided the parts they were Lexus genuine parts but someone they failed with in 4 mths. I took to another shop which specializes in Japanese and foreign vehicles and they advised me they were badly installed and one bearing looked as is it was never changed. I brought my concerns to the shop and of course he wasn't happy with someone question is integrity and work but when it comes to safety of my family and integrity that's what is as consumers trust in the mechanic for. I'm out of $650 for parts and labor at Ables and then paid $812 at another place but at least I'm warrantied for a year on parts and labor. I wasn't offered anything. I'm just glad I was able to get it fixed correctly before something really bad happen to me or my family.

The driver was cutting in and out of lanes without signaling and tailgating other vehicles to the point of being right on their bumpers. Again, keep in mind this is a tractor trailer driver we're talking about. Seemed to be under the influence of alcohol or some other controlled substance. When I called the company to express my concerns, I was directed to the transportation manager who failed to answer, so I left a voice mail requesting a call back. My call was never returned. About a week later, I left another voice mail referencing the reckless behavior of the semi driver and again the message was ignored. So then I paid a personal visit to their business and asked to see this so-called transportation manager. I spoke to one of their employees who essentially laughed at me and told me to mind my own business. Didn't give two licks that one of their drivers nearly caused a multi vehicle pileup on the freeway. Told him this and he bellowed I had no right to tell them how to run their business. What a joke this company is! No regard whatsoever for the safety of the general public nor do they even present themselves professionally. Saw another employee treat an elderly gentleman in their store very rudely while I was there. No reason whatsoever to ever patronize this clown show of a business!
