CROOKS / SCAMMERS / CHEATERS This may be a little lengthy, but PLEASE I urge you to take the 5 minutes to read this, and steer clear of this place. I got my 1st job out of college and was excited to finance a used car. I had my eye on a 2016 vehicle @ Roadmasters II, advertised price on their website was $19,999. I have GOOD credit, but when went in and was told that my credit application was denied for the $19,999 car. The dealership told me it was b/c I had a lot of student loans, etc ... They had another same make/model car on the lot than the 2016 I wanted, but it was a 2015 and about 30,000 more miles than the 2016, and it was advertised for $15,999. They ran my credit for the 2015 car, and in very excited way, told me I was approved for the 2015 car but with a pretty high interest rate ... b/c it my first time getting a car loan and didn't have much of a credit history ... nevertheless. I was okay with it and said I'd like to go ahead and purchase the 2015 car. When they were drawing up the contract I went up to the owner and asked him if there was any wiggle room on the $15,999 ... because I had briefly read some articles online about "DON'T PAY STICKER PRICE, etc" ... so I tried my best negotiating but he told me that he couldn't drop the price ... and because I was getting the full value price of the car financed ... he was selling it for the advertised price ... and negotiating was really for people paying cash. I was a little disappointed but said, okay its fine. I'm okay with the $15,999 I guess because the KBB value of the car was right around that much. They drew up the contract ... car price + tax + interest on loan over 5 yrs + a warranty I purchased ... and very quickly and expertly ran through it with me ... it was more of a "sign here, sign here, sign here ... and okay, thank you". And admittedly ... I did NOT DILIGENTLY go thru it with a fine tooth comb ... Being a first time car buyer is an overwhelming process ... especially when you are applying for credit and have no experience doing so. After 6 months of making timely payments ... I have been getting a bunch of "refinance" your car loan mailings ... I was going over my contract ... and when I peeled back the numbers ... they sold me the car for $19,500. Taxed that amount. Calculated interest on that amount. And got me a high interest loan from Chase ... in that amount. When they quickly went through the contract with me during signing, the presented the high TOTAL of the loan as all interest ... and kept saying its because your interest rate is so high, and it adds up quickly over time ... so that's why the total loan was like $25k. I called the dealership and confronted the owner about what he did ... and in a very cunning, shameless, wry way, ... he told me "you signed what you signed, too bad". I asked him whether it was unreasonable for me to assume that THE PRICE THE CAR WAS ADVERTISED FOR WAS THE PRICE HE WAS GETTING ME A LOAN FOR AND THE PRICE HE WAS DRAWING UP THE CONTRACT FOR ... and he said no, you should not have assumed anything. You bought the car for $19,500. I still have the original advertisement in emails I sent to friends when I was looking into the car, etc ... and the CarFax "offered for sale price" is still the $15,999. I am no legal expert and I'm not sure where their actions fall on the illegal vs. plain immoral/unethical scale ... and to be honest I don't have any legal recourse and just got scammed and taken advantage of and was cheated out of over $3,000. I work in a public service job and work hard to honestly and ethically earn every penny I earn. However, this place is okay with duping their customers and cheating them and easily pocketing over $3,000 of their hard earned money. Obviously, I'd rather walk into incoming traffic and get hit by a bus than ever go back here for my business ... especially after my recent conversation with the owner, in which his tone of voice he KNEW EXACTLY WHAT HE DID ... but knew that I had no recourse, probably b/c he has a shady contracts atty. on retainer ... but this place is not in the business of making long-time, repeat customers ... or operating ethically. I am only writing this in hopes of at least ONE person reading this and deciding to take their business elsewhere ... and not being cheated the way I was. I feel like that is my responsibility as a fair, honest human being ... I have never pocked $1 that wasn't honestly and truthfully earned ... but this place is pocketing thousands on a daily basis ... with zero shame or empathy. Stay away. read more

This COMPANY IS A SCAM. I went in this place yesterday and when I sat and spoke to the man , I advised him exactly what I was looking for and how much I wanted to pay . I was interested in a DODGE CHARGER 2019 for 21k and I advise the salesman that I was putting half of the money down. He then proceeded to ask me how my credit was and I was honest and advised that it was bad. He then proceeded and told me that I would have to pay $563 a month of 75 months. Which is completely wrong because the car is only worth 21k. I went outside to look at the car and waited for my homeboy to come . Once my homeboy comes the manager comes outside to ask me how much I want for the car. I advise the manager I'm not paying no more than 300 a month as I am putting down half the money. He then proceeded to tell me the least he can give it to me for is 400 so he brought me inside and spoke about number. So I advised him that he employee told me 563. Long story short, unless you want to be upset, dont go here!! Was told straight up that there are no negotiations. The price online is a lie. The dealer, dont remember his name (compared to the others he is a little younger mid to late thirties maybe, has glasses), told me that the price online is only for financing through him. On top of the online advertised price there is an addition of what he calls a "profit fee" and a $900 bank fee. Profit fee he stated is the profit he makes on a car. In that case he should be selling those cars for what they got it for at auction then charging his profit fee. Dealer told me that any of his prices you see online to add a minimum of 2,000 on that price, no negotiations. I thought this was a dealer, where you come up with a deal. On another note very unprofessional, i stopped by twice and no one ever came up to me. You have to come up to them and then they bombard you with disappointment. Car had deep scratches all over the paint, dealer said the car doesnt. Took him outside, showed him all the scratches and asked why they werent mentioned in the ad. He said too bad. Very rude. Futhermore, while he wasnt only "helping" us but he was also working with two other customers. 100 Percent stay awaYYYYYYYYYYYYY rom this dealer, 3 days after purchasing my vehicle I was met with a "instrument cluster failure" After brining it to the attention of the sales men I called repeatedly for 3 days and was told each time that "Their boss isn't here right now"' After haggling with them and finally being able to meet the owner with him a week later his solution was "The best I can do for you is to pay half" being 600 dollars, After I just spent 17,000 on a vehicle." I rebuffed in telling him I would rather seek professional help from an mechanic in which is independent from his mechanic is which "looked over my vehicle to ensure the roadworthiness". Which turned out to be false. Since owning the vehicle I have spent over 7000 dollars in repairs in under the first year. I purchased the vehicle March 20th of 2015 . Within the first 3 weeks I noticed multiple dribbles of oil as I parked and as it turns out there was an rear main seal leak in which cost 1700 dollars, according to audi "The aggressive nature of the leak indicated that it was leaking well prior to my purchase". In the same breath they also informed me that the engine mounts are 100 percent worn away, (At this point I had driven over 3000 miles in regards to the lemon law) and should have been replaced prior to the sale of the vehicle, as well as the vehicle needs a new turbo charger because the current one is not preforming correctly as well as there is a vacuum leak in which is causing boost to be lost and engine knocking as well as new brakes. Thus far within owning the vehicle for 7 months I have spent , 7300.12 cents in repairing a vehicle An extra 1000 per month to drive on top of my regular payments . I have every single receipt/work order repairs if any consumer would like to validate my claims. There are only two explanations the owner did not properly inspect the vehicle before purchase or simply dumped his problems on someone else. In retrospect it also makes sense as to why they were pushing an "extended warranty bumper to bumper". In attempting to rectify the situation many of my family members called with different numbers numerous times throughout the following weeks and months only to be greeted with "The boss into in at the moment" .He is never there which helps confirms the dodgy and shady business practices. It isn't normal to spend an extra 7300.12 on a vehicle soon after purchase. Within 7 months it is an absolute outrage and they have done nothing. Every customer deserves the right to know that any vehicle they sell will eventually cost them significant amounts in repairs soon after purchase. At this point they can always buy back the car for the amount I paid plus all work that has been done in order for it to be road worthy. Do yourself the favor and Stay AWAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. We bought a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse in this place and after 3 years with it, its still running great with no problems. After visiting a few dealerships for the exact same car this place gave us the best deal. And it all worked out because it was also the best color of all the other traverse's in other dealers. We gave in our old mini van and he gave us $200 for it. I feel like we could have made a little more on the Caravan cause it had new tires and new parts but we were desperate. The guy trusted us to take the car as a family to get money for the down payment and helped us out in getting us a good deal. We made the right choice in buying our car here. They also take care of their cars, Theyre constantly washing them and keeping them presentable. Our car smelled like it came out of the Chevy lot.
