Called to ask about repairing or replacing a tire or two for my beach cruiser. They were very informative over the phone and eased my worry about the price of new tubes or new tires. I took my bike down right away and it turned out only 1 tube needed to be replaced, both tires were good. I chose to replace both tubes since my bike is at least 15 years old and they were so quick about it! Didn't try to upsell me on anything else and I really appreciated that (because I totally expected them to pressure me into a tuneup.) I love that they are so close and part of this community! Zack was very helpful on the phone explaining their services, and Austin was terrific to work with both when I dropped our bikes off as well as when I picked them up. The pandemic has certainly blown up a couple of industries, one of the beneficiaries are Bike shops. As an avid cyclist for many years, both Mountain Biking and Road Biking, Roadrunner at 67th and Happy Valley Road is my go-to shop. Absolutely expert advice, great conversation with Brian, and truly one of the best brands on the road in Specialized. Covid has absolutely tested nearly every industries's supply chain and Cycling hasn't been exempt. New bikes are in very short supply and routine parts like patch kits, tires, and tubes are a little hard to get. Which leads me to my short sojourn to Vistancia and this Roadrunner branch. I needed a tube for my road bike and they actually had it when the other shop was out and they also had patch kits. Great service, no "bike" egos, and a, very clean shop. If you're contemplating getting into cycling, either Roadrunner is a great place to start. You can't beat Specialized as a bike, I've had multiple bikes from them and each one has been spectacular. My road bike is coming up on 10,000 miles and has had very little done to it (routine new chains and tires/tubes). And it was only around $800 and I still smile every-time I get on it. Great experience working with the team at Road Runner Bike shop in Vistancia. I was in the market for two new bikes last week and decided to take a quick look at our local bike shop. I was greeted by Caleb who provided a quick overview of the bikes on hand and their costs. I was able to test ride the bikes of interest. I went to visit the second location on Happy Valley and 67th to view their inventory. I was pleasantly greeted by the store manager, Brian. I decided to purchase two bikes from Tom. This is the best bike shop! From the moment I walked into this store, I felt so comfortable. They were very welcoming and kind. I had an ebike sent to me by my sister with no idea how I would find someone to assemble it. They said it wouldn't be a problem, they would do it. Not only did they agree to put it together, they would do it right away! I brought it in and they put it together that day! I went back to ride it home, they gave me a back pack for the battery, a tutorial on how to ride, they said it wasn't hard to put together, so charged me the lesser amount! These guys are awesome! I just visited Road Runner Bike Center to get my bike fixed today and Parker helped me out. It's so refreshing to do business with a company that is honest. I don't know much about bikes (I'm just getting into the hobby) I thought both my tires needed to be fixed but they told me it was just the front one that needed to be fixed. They could've been dishonest and made more money but my experience was just the opposite, I didn't feel like they overcharged me and they were very transparent about what I really need.
