The idiots had the bike for 5 days and they can't fix it they left dirty greasy fingerprints all over the white wall tires and grease on the whole bike from their greasy fingerprints, I had to come home and clean the greasy fingerprints off my white sidewalls And wipe the whole entire bike down with greasy prints on the whole frame then they scratch the bike up with their bike holder that locks on to the bike....if Beavis and Butthead mechanics work for me they would be packing their bags. Owner is very sarcastic and rude and unprofessional he likes to interrupt you when you try to talk to him on the phone, matter of fact he text me at first and said we have to contact the manufacturer about your rear Axle. I never got a call for an estimate also they just started to fix the bike and said the rear axle had internal problems in the three-speed gearing. Nothing but complaints on Yelp over this shit hole bike shop. Never had a owner send me a text he should be calling customers on the phone so finally I called back and talked to him that's when he started interrupting me when I was trying to talk very belligerent and very rude. I would not recommend this shit hole bike shop to anyone nothing but complaints about this place. Then I'm checking the bike out and looking at the rear tire and it's not even straight my God Beavis and Butthead here can't even put a rear tire straight it's on an angle so now I have to recheck everything and fix it myself. If the company is called Exhale.... they might want to probably inhale more crack..lol

Called in on 2/24 to inquire on some pivot bearing and headset install cost and person on the phone…read moretold me for 4 pivots and 1 headset should run about $20-30, great! Fast forward the next day stopped in and dropped them off and told me they'd take an hour or so. Upon calling to stop back in I'm being told the new price is $40 and I didn't even bring in my frame for the headset so $40 for 4 bearings. All good, figured I'd let them know when I arrived what I was originally quoted and see what happened. Told the guy when I got there I was quoted less than that and he says they were not easy install, confused by this he brings the arms over and say "sorry got a scratch on this one while trying to remove paint". What he handed me was an absolute joke at best. These arms were all professionally painted and masked off for bearing clearances from the beginning and it looks like they took a screw driver to them. You can see the very faint original paint where he chipped proving that shouldn't have been a problem and then scratched the out side too. There are also gouges on the back side and a big chip on a section they shouldn't have even touched! They dropped the bill to $30 and I walked out with absolutely destroyed paint. If they were not comfortable doing it they should had mentioned this from the beginning and not taken on the job. But they hacked it and now my bike looks terrible and I'm out $30 for a terrible install. If you care about your paint take your bearing installs elsewhere because these giant sponsored shops don't care.

He blew one payday 100% taking his friends on a bowling? Eating? Game playing spree? I'm not sure. This time he wanted a bike. Wheels. Transportation. Independence. For weeks he's talked about when he gets paid and his new bike. Would I help him pick it up? We scoped out a nearby bike shop. He switched to a pawn shop on his bus route home. Today was Thursday Sit and Chat, 2:30-4 pm Corner on the Market. He loves it because people enjoy him. Plus food and Independence! On the journey home was Grey Matter Bike Shop. We stopped to investigate. You donate a bike, they refurb it. Proceeds from used bike sales are donated to Barrow Neurologic Hospital. The owner's son died from brain cancer. Barrow treated him. The owner is paying back by healing old bicycles and donating the profit.. They also have a full showroom of fine electric and pedal powered bicycles at standard pricing. Plus excellent repair and service staff. Mr. G wanted a bike with a wide, comfortable seat. Sit and Chat Dave advised him to pick a bike short enough to not injure his groin areas when putting both feet on the pavement. We found a One Speed coaster brake cruiser, semi-fat tires. Simple to ride and repair. Wide, supportive seat. Built for comfort. Nearly new, brand new rear tire. $125.00. We pick it up tomorrow ar 10 am.

Unfortunately, this business does not understand the legal implications of accepting a service…read morerequest from someone with younger onset Alzheimer's, without contacting POAs (powers of attorney). And yes, the shop owner was aware of my husband's Alz diagnosis prior to accepting the service request. My neighbor Greg, who I asked to leave our family alone in February 2025, took my ill husband with younger Alz and his bike in to this shop in July 2025. The neighbor struck a deal with my husband's mother to pay for the service. As my husband's medical power of attorney (btw he has a court appointed conservator for financials), I was never informed. When my 5yo daughter and I got home, my husband had no idea where his bike, his backpack, or his cell phone were. All was lost in the time that I went to have lunch and pick up my daughter from kindergarten. On our wild goose chase that evening when I should've been helping my daughter with homework, brushing teeth, and evening routine, we found his bike at this bike shop, and then my husband vaguely recalled some intervention by our dirty gossip-Gabby, Nosey Nancy neighbor Greg who refuses to leave our family alone. Little did the shop owner realize that our family had been in legal battles with my husband's aggressive horrible mother for 3 years. She has lost every futile battle, yet she keeps trying. Her latest failed attempt involves threats of legal action regarding my daughter. So the neighbor Greg striking a deal for my husband's mother to pay for his bike? No. Not allowed. My husband's conservator even refuses to answer his mother's calls due to her belligerence. So unfortunately, this shop should educate themselves on accepting service requests from persons with Alzheimer's, and understanding that you need to communicate with the POA prior to service acceptance. The outcome: I accepted the invoice and paid from our marital account, even though I never (nor did the conservator) requested or agreed to this service. EDITED TO ADD: When we all came in for me to pay and pick up his bike, I asked the shop owner "do you know he has Alzheimer's?" he said YES. So please, if you are a business owner and you knowingly accept a service request from someone with a severe cognitive impairment, you MUST ask for POAs to ensure this is the right decision for that person. Someone told me "what are you supposed to do when someone with Alzheimer's has a broken bike?" You find the Medical and/or Financial POA for that person and work as a TEAM. You don't take matters into your own hands - this is literal exploitation of a vulnerable adult. Fortunately for us, my husband is now placed in memory care so he cannot be exploited, and so we don't end up with wild goose chases around town when I need to be working and raising my daughter on my own. Shame on everyone involved who caused confusion in my husband and harm to our family.

BUYER BEWARE!! DO NOT PURCHASE A VELOTRIC BIKE!! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ROGUE ELECTRIC CYCLERY IN…read morePHOENIX!! Battery is terrible. Warranty with Velotric is worthless. Rogue sells you a high-priced bike, pockets your money, and takes no responsibility when things go bad. I paid $1,500 for a new Velotric Fold1 in late 2025. By Spring 2026, the battery (with a full charge) would go only 2 to 3 miles, then completely die. After cooperating with Velotric's warranty department to troubleshoot, they concluded what was obvious: it needs a new battery. Only after several weeks of back and forth troubleshooting did they inform me they have no batteries in stock and it would be another 2 months until they had any. They provided no compensation of any kind for the major disruption, nor did Rogue Electric Cyclery. Both Velotric and Rogue Electric Cyclery continue to sell new very expensive Fold 1 bikes that come with new batteries. However, neither Velotric nor Rogue is willing to provide one of those batteries to cover a customer's legitimate warranty issue. I am still waiting for a new battery covered under warranty.
