We ordered the sashimi, mackerel, a sushi roll to share. The sashimi was freaking delicious! Very high quality, melts in your mouth type of sashimi grade. My favorite one was the toro! OMG simply divine . The others were amazing too, don''t get me wrong, but the toro is where it's at! The grilled mackerel was perfection! Not over cooked, seasoned correctly, and so good on it's own! The sushi roll was very fresh! Sooo goood!! As for the drinks, yummmy!!!! Everything was just amazing!! I loved it all!! 10/10 highly recommend.

My friends got other dishes and they were all worth the hype. One of my favorites that I tried was the yellowtail jalapeño - I would 100% get that next time. Make sure to make a reservation because the wait can be long, as expected for such a popular restaurant. There were 8 of us so they are friendly to larger groups. The ambiance is super lively. The waitress was helpful and service time was reasonable. I noticed that all of our dishes came at different times - some longer than others. My only comment is that I had hoped all the entrees came out all at once for everyone. If you are looking for fresh, delicious small plates for Japanese cuisine and a vibrant ambiance, this is the place for you!

My waiter was super wonderful and answered my questions about the custom sushi options. I am not a fan of sushi with cream cheese, avocado, or cucumber (and most places have one or the other in most rolls). I appreciated that I could make the sushi my own. Not pictured here was a salmon roll topped with salmon roe (I call it mother and child lol). The eel was also delicious, and I can't wait to return for a visit one day.

We decided to try somewhere new last Saturday night and were told about a 30-minute wait, which is usually a good sign as the place was packed. They took our number and texted us about 20 minutes later when two seats opened at the hibachi bar. Grabbing those seats was the best decision we made as we were entertained by both the hibachi chefs and the sushi station all night. The chefs were interactive, friendly, and clearly skilled at what they do. Our waitress, Jennifer, was absolutely on point, accommodating, polite, and happy to offer recommendations that did not disappoint. We ordered the shrimp tempura, bagel roll, and spider roll for sushi, along with the shrimp and steak hibachi, which she thoughtfully split onto two plates for us without even being asked. The sushi arrived first, beautifully presented, fresh, and full of flavor. Soup and salad followed, then the hibachi entrée , all timed perfectly so we never felt rushed or overcrowded with dishes. The shrimp was fresh, the steak cooked perfectly, and the fried rice seasoned just right with herbs and spices that complemented the entire meal. Every part of the experience flowed from start to finish. A return visit is already in the works this month. Highly recommend this spot and major thanks to the employees for being at the top of their game! Truly a 5 star experience.

He mentioned wait times for tables, so I chose a Tuesday evening to try to avoid the crowds and it worked as I was immediately sat upon arriving. There are QR Menus on the table and my server directed me to view there. I spotted the Tokyo and was intrigued by the Ajitama Brûlée (signature torched seasoned soft boiled egg). What I Ordered: - Tokyo: For $16.95, I thought this was reasonably priced and excited to try as reading reviews raved about the umami flavor of their ramen. Without exaggeration, this was a life-changing ramen. The best ramen that I've had in my life!! The torched egg was genius and added a beautiful texture to the rich, and flavorful broth. The fried chicken thigh was a delicious protein and cooked so well. Honestly, every ingredient was crafted well and combined to make such a beautiful bowl. - Lychee Martini: What better way to toast to life, then with a martini! The popping bubbles were not my thing, but the flavor of the martini was delicious. I can see why many suggest trying it. This is my 1900th review on Yelp, and I couldn't pick a better place to review and RAVE about my experience. If you are in Jacksonville, RUN don't walk to this location for a stunning experience as it's a gorgeous location that is very cozy. Though I didn't wait, I definitely would to have a Tokyo Ramen again!

During our visit, a manager engaged in repeated personal interactions with my guest that felt outside the bounds of typical professional service. While I understand that friendliness is part of hospitality, the frequency and tone of these interactions became uncomfortable and detracted from the overall experience. After the visit, I brought this to the attention of the business directly in the hope that it would be acknowledged and addressed. Unfortunately, I did not receive a meaningful response or any indication that the concern was taken seriously. I'm sharing this here so others have a complete picture when deciding where to go, and so the business has another opportunity to reflect on how customer interactions are handled. With more attentive management and clearer boundaries for staff, this could be a much stronger experience.
