I love me a good bowl of ramen and this place I really recommend you come during lunch time where they have a special where you can get any of their ramen #1-9 plus a bao bun or dumplings and a Thai tea for 15.99!! That isn't steal!! Service is awesome food came out quick and with a touch of button the server came right to you! I love how they have these private stalls with curtains so I could have my private time with my partner. I did get their omu omlet rice before and it wasn't my favorite and wouldn't recommend getting it for that price.

Had an awesome time at this relatively authentic ramen bar. They have the call button and a great menu. The gyoza was good, peppered corn was interesting, amazing lemonade was great, the pork belly was a little dry for my taste but the rest of the meals were great. I thoroughly enjoyed everything and had a great meal at a good price.

If you would like a private booth, be sure to make a reservation. I made mine through yelp. You'll get privacy, but you will hear the people in the booths next to you. You can press the button to summon your waiter when you anything. They were very attentive and the service was very friendly and efficient. Bring a big appetite as the ramen bowls are HUGE. I ordered the vegetable miso ramen with vegetable broth. If you need verification which items are vegetarian , the online menu states it. The menu in the restaurant does not. I had the amazing lemonade which was the perfect amount of tart and not overly sweet. The matcha tiramisu was a delightful creamy dessert that was also not overly sweet for those of us without a big sweet tooth.

The only spot I know so far in JAX that does omurice. I LOVE OMURICE and theirs is so comforting. Its really flavorful and presentation is so cute. They open the egg and pour the sauce in front of you hehe. Love the decor and booths here. Its "private" booths haha. I say "private" because I could still hear the booths behind us converse but its not bothersome at all just pointing it out The server was so friendly and attentive. The food came out fast. I wouldnt get the purple yam fries again though. Alone it lacked flavor, but it was good when dipped in the sauce.

Super cute ambiance/decor! Transports you straight to Kyoto Japan with a wall of wooden notes when you first arrive and separate concealed tables/booths. The service was great but food was mediocre. I have gotten ramen here before and it was decent but not the best in Jacksonville (go to Umami for the best). I decided to try the Honeybee platter and less than 50% of the items were good. The best was the edamame, perfectly seasoned with sesame oil and a spicy salty seasoning. The shrimp tempura had too much batter. The tamago (sushi egg) was watery like it had been frozen and just defrosted. Then there were two not so tasty cold scallops next to the seaweed salad. Definitely won't order this again. I would return for the ambiance and try something different.

This is an amazing ramen restaurant. They have all kinds of ramen you can order. They have other options you can order too. The private little room you are seated at was just like some places I ate at in Japan. You push a button on the wall anytime you need service. Once you do that. Someone will be at your table within a minute. You need a reservation to eat here for lunch or dinner. There is no military discount.

First time dining at Kyuramen, and it was amazingly delicious. The decor was super cute and our girls thought the dining cubbies were cozy and cultural. Service was kinda spotty, even though there was a button to push on the wall to send for service. And prices were a bit much...Overall, a great experience!

    The entrance to the restaurant.

We ordered Ramen to go, and it was hot and delicious! The packaging has the broth below and the noodles suspended in a cup that keeps it separate until you're ready to mix them together. So travels very well. In the past, we've gone to this Japanese restaurant when we've traveled to Jacksonville it's only a few minutes from our hotel and has a nice ambience and staff.

This spot is one of my family's all-time favorites for ramen, but this time I switched it up and ordered the Omu Rice with Pork Tonkatsu and Demi-Glacé--WOW. Absolutely delicious! I could eat this all day, every day. The demi-glacé is the star of the dish, bringing everything together in perfect harmony. I was stuffed and still had leftovers to take home. The rest of my family stuck with their usual ramen, and as always, it was fantastic. The staff was super friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. This place will always stay in my top five!

One of two spots we go to in JAX when we want ramen. Staff has always been friendly and the private dining booths gives us the illusion we truly have privacy, although I'm sure others can hear us like we hear them. It's always been clean with delicious food! And they have cute napkin holder thingys . Located near Rowe's grocery off Baymeadows. 5 stars for me!

Went here for lunch and ordered their luncheon special. Luncheon specials included a drink , appetizer, and ramen entree for $15.99. Great deal! Plenty of free parking. Quick service. Love the asian inspired privacy curtains available at some booths. See picture for lunch menu information.

This place is amazing. Food is delicious. I get the Curry ramen with the pork. The lunch special comes with a side and a drink. I've gotten both the gyoza and bao bun thing. It would be hard to choose which one was better. We went for my birthday and I got the Thai tea, bao bun and curry ramen. All were amazing. My husband grew up in Japan and he says this is his favorite ramen place. He got the Mega ramen and octopus balls. I am not that adventurous, but he said both were excellent and he will get both again! Service is always impeccable, fast, and the place has little private booths. I highly recommend this place! 10/10!!

Had no idea this place has been in business a few years. I thought it was a new establishment. Two of us popped in around 5:30 6pm on a Friday night. Pretty busy but we're seated right away. When you walk in there is a 'self sign in kiosk'. Since only the two of us we could sit at a smallish table for two. There is a ramen bar to sit at or private booths. Cute decor. Staff was nice, we had three different waiters asking to take our order. We shared an appetizer of deep fried gyoza and the honey comb appetizer- both were tasty. My main was the tonkatsu ramen white garlic and my son had the krab rice burger which is served with gloves- it is messy. This 'rice burger' is like a spider crab roll. He could only eat half of it. We probably didn't need the two apps. We both had ice water and with 18% tip I think our bill was $69. I would definitely go back. Try something else off the menu and hope to snag a private booth. They have a tea shop next door- but open to the restaurant- you can order from them too.

Unfortunately they don't. They only have pork bao buns and Japanese chashu. If you want kakuni is simply to make it at home. Which isn't hard at all. I make it 2 twice a month in my instant pot. Hope that help. Have a good day!

It was super crispy, but the meat was still so juicy. And the sweet and creamy sauces just finished the perfect bite. The ramens were pretty solid too. The matcha broth was super creamy and light. And the tonkotsu was so flavorful, with really tender chashu and a perfectly soft boiled egg. Plus the noodles were a really good texture. The restaurant itself is really cute too. They also have a convenience store type of ramen station in the front, which I really want to try. As well as a little arcade game that you can play in the front while you wait to be seated. However, I was really not a fan of the service. It's nothing really against the servers because they were super nice, but they just seemed so frazzled. We arrived around an hour before closing, but it took forever for us to be seated, despite seeing a few empty tables around. By the time we were seated, we were told kitchen would be closing in two minutes, so we had to hurry and put in our orders. All of that was fine and I didn't mind. But what I did mind was that our waitress checked our order twice when we first have it. And she came back to our table within the next five minutes to check our orders again for a third time to make sure she had down what we wanted. I wanted the matcha ramen and was most looking forward to having some chashu and egg. So she confirmed my order three times that I wanted matcha ramen. But when it came out, she gave me the vegetable bowl. I knew the kitchen had closed at that point, so I just ate it, but I was really disappointed. (I did get to try a bite of my friends egg and chashu, which also didn't really help because it was so good and made me wish mine came with those even more.) When we were finished eating, it took forever for the checks to come out. This I also didn't mind that much, because the servers, again, looked really frazzled trying to close up. But at this point we had waited until well after their closing time, so part of me was hoping they could just close us out first and then finish closing down the place. I think we waited at least half an hour from when we first asked for the check (at which point we had already been waiting a while) to when we finally got our cards back. I did see they charged me for the vegetable version of the matcha ramen so it was whatever, but then also I was confused - so it wasn't a mix up in the kitchen, she rang it up as the vegetable one from the beginning! Even though I never mentioned it and she never said vegetable when confirming my order. It was a dollar less to get tofu instead of an egg and chashu which doesn't seem worth it. Writing this all out, I'm sorry to rant, because the food really was good. And looking at other reviews, it looks like the service is usually pretty good. But again, it was just disappointing. That being said, I am really hoping it was a one off thing because I would go again and try some other menu items too.

What I Ordered: - Tokyo: For $16.95, I thought this was reasonably priced and excited to try as reading reviews raved about the umami flavor of their ramen. Without exaggeration, this was a life-changing ramen. The best ramen that I've had in my life!! The torched egg was genius and added a beautiful texture to the rich, and flavorful broth. The fried chicken thigh was a delicious protein and cooked so well. Honestly, every ingredient was crafted well and combined to make such a beautiful bowl. - Lychee Martini: What better way to toast to life, then with a martini! The popping bubbles were not my thing, but the flavor of the martini was delicious. I can see why many suggest trying it. I initially wanted to try the soup dumplings (Xiao Long Bao), but the waitress convinced me not to as "they take too long" to prepare. Instead I went with the pork fried dumplings and the Taiwanrse sausage. The dumplings were very average: not bad flavor but they had a flavor and were uniform in a way that suggested they came right out of a bag from the freezer. There are much better and fresher dumplings to be had in Jacksonville. The sausage, however, was quite good. It was taught, porky, and had notes of five spice & maybe cinnamon. It further reinforced my view that meat always tastes best when served on a stick! It helped bring in the final score two three stars, making up for poor service and mediocre dumplings.
