Roan Mills is an absolute GEM! I found them a few years ago and make sure I stop in when I'm in the area (or if I'm craving it, I'll drive all the way there just to get some!). They are skilled bakers and have mastered their craft. I love their breads and pastries - you can tell the difference with their fresh milled grains. I've tried just about everything (that does not have cheese) and my go to is always their croissant, cookies, sourdough and focaccia. The SF sourdough is so good, excellent textures and flavor, and perfectly baked each time. The seasonal tiny strawberries are always perfect as well. The only thing that I am not a fan of is the pie fillings, they are extremely sweet. Very friendly employees and clean and organized store. Ample street parking.

This store front is clean and has so many items from fresh fruit/veggies, premade ravioli, chocolate, jams & so much more. They also have a counter with fresh pastries & breads. I ordered a matcha latte no sweetener which had nice color & strong flavor. I also bought premade ravioli (crab & a duck/apple flavor) which I am so excited to make.

We found this joint by chance looking for coffee and a quick bite to eat off the 126 from somewhere that wasn't a chain. Roan Mills is a family owned and operated farm, mill, and bakery in old downtown Fillmore, CA that uses regenerative and certified organic farming practices that are sustainable for the environment. Their freshly milled flours are used for their breads and baked goods sold at the bakery and at local Farmers Markets. For such a small brick and mortar, they have a little bit of everything; breads, pastries, pies, muffins, cookies, sandwiches, spreads, dips, soups, produce, whole and milled grains, gifts, and a gourmet drink selection. They also had bread and their Mock Boursin out for sampling, which were really good. Everything is made fresh onsite and some of their additional gift items are sourced from local vendors. Please note that they are only open Wednesdays - Saturdays 8A-3P, so plan accordingly, it's worth checking out if you're in the area.

Lovely spot for baked goods and coffee! Got a iced vanilla oat latte and coldbrew with coldfoam. Both tasted great.

Service was great, I love the vintage style aesthetic with a hint of modern. Today I got their vanilla lavender latte, per the employee all their syrups are made in house. So good!

Morning bun & almond croissant were amazing

I was in Filmore for work for a day and Im happy that I stumbled upon this place-it's coffee shop meets bakery meets Sunday farmers market!! The pastries were delicious and I was so excited to find some locally milled flour for my sourdough. The only thing that I didn't love was the matcha, it tasted okay but not super high quality. I am a bit of a matcha enthusiast so it may have just been me. The overall vibe and locally made goods made up for that though. I will most definitely return next time im in town :)

Gem in Santa Paula…read more Marella - fantastic bartender. Makes anything great. I had an old fashioned and a whiskey sour (the real one with egg whites) Fernando - wonderful bartender. Very attentive, kind, and professional Food - I only had the pork eggs benedict, it was A++ cornbread as the base, the pork was very tender and tasty, and the Benedict sauce was great to complement. The cheesy grits were delicious as well. Make sure to try their homemade hot sauce as this made my experience even better. The owner - Tracy. She was there both times that I went and was not only nice in talking with me and my friend, but she worked alongside the servers and the barista's to maintain everybody's service. This place is one you have to go to if you're in Santa Paula. Great ambience, they had New Orleans Jazz playing each time I went. The place was busy with a bunch of locals so it's well known, but everyone worked so well together I never had to wait for anything.

Beautiful weather in a covered outdoor seating area. Light breeze. The food was rich and delicious. My matcha was refreshing. Southern hospitality. Loved it! The 25 minute wait on a Sun afternoon was totally worth it. Makayla, our server, was EXCELLENT... patient and attentive. She brought out the package of matcha so I could decide if I wanted to order it or not. Totally unexpected and appreciated.

The food wasn't very good! I ordered the Spring Salad…read morepictured below Supposed to be...Spring greens, strawberries, blueberries, toasted pistachios with balsamic vinaigrette. Served with a warmed goat cheese crostini. No mention of melons it had a few slivers of strawberries. Overall taste not very good. Had my mom try it too she was unimpressed. She had the chicken salad. She said it was just chicken with mayo. The croissant was dry. The iced tea tasted like coffee unfortunately. The gentleman that delivered our food just plopped the plates down and walked away. No gluten free options only macaroons! First time at this location normally go to Camarillo and TO so I was expecting the same great food and service. There was a napkin on the ground directly under our table. The ledge by window was dirty! Just disappointing!

This cafe is sooo beautiful- I truly feel like I'm somewhere in Europe in a large open patisserie…read more It is typically super crowded her, so if you can find seating, count yourself lucky. I love their pastries, but the recent price increases do make them a luxury item. Kouign Amann are my fave, but any of their croissants are also great. I haven't really tried their drinks. Had a Hot chocolate at the Camarillo location, and they even had a little latte art in the milk foam. A beautiful space to enjoy, but pricey overall. Service is usually fine, not overly friendly but that is also due to being so busy that they need to move the lines quickly and efficiently. At Camarillo, the server was much more talkative and friendly because it wasn't crowded when I went.
