My favorite pan from here are the cochinito's (small pig) but I am also always buying the concha's and elotes. Even though it's a small panadería they still have a pretty good selection of bread and it always tastes so good. Usually when I go it is the younger daughter working and she is always very nice and friendly. The mother will sometimes be working who is also very polite but those are really the only two I ever see. No place to eat inside or outside since it's such a small spot but I'm usually just picking up bread for a snack or for my week's breakfast. Be sure to stop by if you're driving past Fillmore to try out the sweet flavor of Mexican culture.

I've been to quite a few Japanese bakeries and truly the loaf is top tiered and I believe their salt bread is the best I have ever tried. I highly recommend their cookie butter salt bread and also their red bean one too (if you like red bean). The dough is the perfect texture of crispy on the outside and yet chewy and soft on the inside when heated up. They have such a great assortment of different japanese baked goods, and everything else I've tried is also good. I also love their japaninis. Their shop is small but there is free parking. They have different honey options and a lot of samples too in case you want to try before you buy. We always try new honey and end up purchasing a new flavor each time. They have different sizes so you can buy a small batch if you want to try something new or they also have small tubs if you use a lot of honey. My mom likes to buy the tubs and pour into smaller containers and gift it to her friends when she visits. Especially in colder months when everyone is making teas or just getting sick from flu season. They also have honey candy, candles, soaps, etc. so it's fun to browse around. This time I took the lavender honey and I've been adding it in my coffee and matcha at home. Gives it a subtle hint of lavender and sweetness from the honey. I don't usually enjoy lavender but I feel like the lavender is subtle and not so perfumy. Not something I would've gravitated too organically, but I had the sample in store and here I am. They also have some spicy honeys which might be good for pizzas or wing sauces? Worth checking out.
