The extraction was super fast. She stitched me and I was all heeled up in about 3 days without any pain or anything. If you have time, ask for a tour of the office. It's super cute! Hopefully I'll have my work done in the jungle room next time.

Since they have multiple offices they let me know that the main office was booked until next year but that the Vinton location would be able to see me sooner. On the day of my appointment it was a very smooth check in. The hygienist was very friendly and attentive to my comfort. She regularly checked in to make sure I wasn't uncomfortable with what she was doing. I also had some X-rays done and she was careful to make sure the mouth piece wasn't causing pain. They provide eye protection for any splashes. They have a TV screen on the ceiling that was playing a TV show so I could have something to distract myself. The dentist that saw me was Dr Wood, she was very pleasant and thorough during the exam. I'm happy I found a good dentist that I feel comfortable with and look forward to my next appointment.

Not once were they judgemental, just kind and understanding. Once everything was straight and I got to see them, they had to be the nicest doctors office I have ever been to. Very professional and welcoming. They treat their patients with the utmost respect. After neglecting my teeth for a while, there were some issues. They never judged me(other dentist had been condescending) they worked with to get an oral surgeon to work on the issues and followed up with me during visits to make sure everything was going as they should be. There's always an age appropriate movie on. The front desk workers are kind and courteous. Dr. S has been amazing. We've been taking all three kids here for many years. They're consistent. This team is truly amazing with kids. They explain everything meticulously. They even break down what insurance will pay on UPCOMING visits. Kids in the chair are able to choose flavors of fluoride, wear sunglasses during the visit to protect their eyes... even choose MOVIES to watch while undergoing more stressful procedures. Hopefully it will help somebody else make a better decision regarding a dentist. I had a horrible, horrible experience! I would NEVER recommend Dr. Moore to anyone. I had seen him for routine dental exams with no issues in the past, and his staff is very nice. Unfortunately, I had to have an ER tooth extraction for a lower bicuspid that became extremely infected after a filling. Dr. M was rude and unempathetic! It took over 1 1/2 hrs to extract the tooth, my mouth could not be fully numbed due to the infection being so severe, but he acted as if I was exaggerating, and became angry and frustrated because the tooth was difficult to remove. I would NEVER recommend him to anyone!
