Not happy whatsoever with the moo bowl i bought. I bought the bowl for almost 18$ because I used my credit card where they add the 4% fee. The bowl serving was not what i expected nor what i received a couple of months ago when i last bought it. The serving was for a 6 year old not an adult. They place the sauces within the bowl to take up space too! It's crazy soo much money for soo little food!!! The whole food was below the rim!!! For that i would have gone to Pollo Mario's on 37th in this freezing cold ass weather and receive 4 times the amount for 7 more dollars! Believe that! They offer fresh juices, smoothies, wraps, sandwiches, burgers, etc. I've had some of the juices and wraps. I enjoy the green juice anytime I'm in the area and looking for something healthy. Shady. Dishonest. Greedy. Lacks integrity. I used to go here for lunch a couple of times a week when I was on a "health kick" because of their salads. The food is fine - nothing remarkable or stellar - certainly overpriced for what it is - but today I decided it was time for a health kick again and was looking forward to getting a salad. I went to the store rather than calling Seamless or GrubHub because of their outrageous fees. I was getting it to go and placed the order with the person at the cash register. The card reader was having difficulty with ApplePay when the screen blinked on for a brief second. This is when I saw that she had selected a 20% tip for my order. She neither mentioned any kind of service charge nor did she ever ask me if I wanted to give a tip. A tip?? For what? Taking my order? When that is your literal job?? She just tapped a few buttons on the POS and took my payment. I walked over there and walked the order back to my home - who's going to tip me?? It was very sneaky to add a tip without my knowledge. It was clear from the way she quickly moved the card reader when the screen came on that she was attempting to hide what was being displayed. As I left I said to her that it was not cool to just add a 20% tip without asking - she doubled down and tried to play dumb by saying that she offered to give me a paper receipt. Like, really??! I have recently been eating the specials of the day and they have been more enjoyable than my go to meals and are usually about $10. It's nice when you go to a place often and are attempting to eat healthy to have options. I have also looked online for cleanliness ratings and this restaurant is very clean according to the New York State compared to others in NYC. They also give phenomenal customer service. Wow. I was slightly afraid when I saw this place open because 37th Ave has been through some very heavy changes in the past few years and the Avenue is ALWAYS changing. I passed by Just Made 4 U several times thinking it was one of those overly priced "healthy" food places that belong somewhere in Brooklyn, but I was dead wrong. My girlfriend and I have become tired of Jahns and Ricky's for breakfast food so we tried something very very different last weekend. The Breakfast wraps were amazing. I was actually quite happily surprised when it tasted perfect. Just right right amount of cheese and onions to make it yummy. I would only be adding bacon next time which will probably be some healthy turkey bacon...i love it. The more I think about it, the more this place makes perfect sense to me in my area. Jahns has been seriously lacking in their breakfast food quality and if I can walk even less to get breakfast food and know made better and fresh I am all for that. Staff was very friendly and I liked the modern type of furniture they implemented to give it that "new" feeling. I hope the prices stay the same because they are great (even though I know its probably not) and I will continue to come here.
