Ordered a small latte and a breakfast sandwich. Coffee is fine, nothing wrong with it. Sandwich is lacking on the bacon front with only one paper thin slice, but it still tastes fine. I also ordered a lemon bar and a pecan brownie. Stopped by this local coffee shop on my way thru the city and its adorable! Specialty coffee and treats, handmade jewelry and other knit items for sale made this coffee shop a better experience than the Starbucks across Th street. Love supporting local businesses and this was no exception. They have a variety of espresso drinks, dairy alternatives and all the bells and whistles a hometown coffee place should. In line my wife and I talked about how it's hard to mess up a Caprese Sandwich...HOWEVER a kitchen CAN "turn a Caprese Sandwich up to 11!" So it's a remarkable thing to consider that this is EASILY the BEST CAPRESE SANDWICH I have ever tasted. Panini-style to perfection with almost a "non disruptive" pesto and amazing mozzarella- regret not getting the large. Nice space, nice people, good coffee (iced americano) too. Loved it. read more

Nice little coffee shop that was a pretty cool vibe and decor. Service is really good, the people are always super friendly and nice no matter who helps you. The muffins are incredible, especially the lemon and the chocolate chip! The lattes/espresso drinks are really reasonably priced, however they won't be as large as something you might order at Starbucks. They also have a punch card which is ideal if you're a frequent patron. One thing I would add is that they don't have a huge selection of sugar-free syrups, in fact they only have two, so that might bother some people. read more

Well you can't really mess with a place that has a name like that, can you? You know that they take pride in everything that they serve, especially their oatmeal! You can imagine how awesome it is with brown sugar and cinnamon! All the pastries here are decadent too! Need something a little more filling? I love Mom n Pop coffee shops and this one is really cool. The atmosphere is very chill and easy to carry a conversation in. The service is awesome, everyone is extra friendly. The baked goods are delicious and my go to drink is Lavender Italian Soda. It's VERY GOOD! I love how Mom's has community events, they don't just cater to students they make everyone feel welcome! I can't give it 5 stars without trying the food which I haven't done yet. The coffee and tea drinks are great, service is good, there are different kinds of chairs, way more seating than Becks, including comfy chairs and a sofa. Perfect spot for working because the conversations are at a low volume and the jazz hop being played is unobtrusive. read more

Super cute and nice atmosphere. The staff was very nice and helpful since it was my first time going :) I got a chai with pumpkin and it wasn't terrible just had an orange flavor to it. This is my all time favorite coffee shop and its proximity to nmsu makes it a perfect place to grab lunch or study when I dont feel like going to the library. Their paninis are the greatest thing I've ever eaten and I'm an annoyingly picker eater. You can build your own panini and when i first tried one i was just expecting it to be a regular chicken panini but it was sooo good! I recommend getting the green chilis and all the other veggies. I usually get the small but its a decent size and fills me up. They have tons of different coffee flavors you can add to your beverage and I love getting the rose coffee. The decor is absolutely adorable and if you arent a student doing work you can still come in and play with the board games avaliable or read the books they have! It's never too crowded inside so the noise level is enjoyable. Highly reccomend this place! read more

I know it hasn't been around too long, so decided to give my support and business. ...until I noticed they reduced the Size of their brownie..ok no big deal. I was with family and visiting Las Cruces and looking for a place for breakfast. We had waffles, croissants, breakfast sandwich. All were so fresh and yummy. My fiancé and I visited Mom's coffee on a rainy day, and it didn't disappoint. The coffee is delicious. They have tons of coffee flavor options to choose from! For this being a coffee shop (mainly), the food did not disappoint. I got the avo toast and my fiancé ordered When Pigs Fly panini. Highly recommend! When we arrived there was nobody else waiting and yet we had to wait about 5 minutes for the staff to "set a table" for us. When we were seated there were at least six empty tables already set. When we left about 45 minutes later, a lot of previously occupied tables still had dirty dishes on them (but not all of them), and nobody was cleaning them up. Just like when we got here, there were lots of tables ready to go and yet the lobby was full of people waiting to be seated and even more people waiting outside.

The order came with two large pancakes, delicious but I wasn't able to finish them. Nayeli offered me if I wanted more syrup, I accepted and she brought me another little cup. In the past dining the servers brought us the check but never cleared one single dirty dishes. This is because they have a busser who cleans the table after the guests leave. I enjoyed one of the best scones I have ever had; lemon blueberry with the perfect crunch to fluff ratio, not to mention just the right amount of a truly inspiring lemon drizzle.
