Have not heard of this place until yesterday and I can say this place is amazing. Food was great, staff were very helpful very polite and friendly. I ordered the turkey wrap. The only complaint I have is the filling was very small compared to the giant size tortilla they use. If you want your customers happy fill'er up Josefina!!! My husband ordered an omelette. It look great, but the potatoes were overcooked and dry. My cousin ordered the Devil Desert now that looked delicious! All in all breakfast was pretty good. I could not resist taking home a blueberry muffin and a tart!! Very delicious! I would recommend going there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very small inside, but there are tables outside to sit in the cold during the winter if you like.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Otherwise you will have to wait for a table.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very busy Sunday morning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had the breakfast bowl and the cauliflower tacos. Latte with oat milk. Super delicious. Very nice staff despite being slammed. Winner!

Just checked out this cute little coffee shop for the first time! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love the cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and the drink menu is simple but has flavors for people with different tastes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had the Wild Flower latte, husband tried the Autumn latte and we were both very pleased with the taste. Highly recommend trying it out if you're ever exploring Old Mesilla

Just when I thought this place could not get any better they go ahead and pick one of the best locations in the area. Their menu is one of my favorites because they have the vegetarian options I look for plus they accommodate some dishes to not include meat. It's not like before where you would sit down and then order. Now you have to order and then sit down. Just a quick tip until we are all familiar with the new system. The parking is not the best but nobody cares when walking in Mesilla is a great experience by itself. The employees are always helpful and kind. The menu is simple which is a huge plus. Provecho!

Tucked away in one of the side streets of Mesilla a part of Las Cruces, New Mexico is this wonderful little pocket of liberalism and healthy cooking. The restaurant itself is wonderful with a book rack to borrow or donate books, a menu that is very earth friendly, a staff that is helpful and enthusiastic about the food they serve and a variety of flavors and drinks to choose from. I had several options I wanted to try and ended up picking the breakfast burrito and the lavender and honey latte. The burrito itself was a little smaller than I would have liked and with the bacon and other ingredients in it, it did taste a little too salty. The potatoes could have used more time on the grill as they were slightly undercooked. The burrito, while very good could have used more variety in flavors and textures and it didn't come with any side items like fruit, plantains or a small salad. Honestly, I would recommend this so that you have something to clear the pallet between bites. Maybe some pineapple or melon. Not a lot, just enough to take a dozen bites or so. The latte was made from an American ground coffee which left a slightly bitter after taste even with the lavender and the honey to help mask the bitterness. I would recommend switching to an espresso ground and possibly a Cuban or European coffee supplier since these coffee beans are less roasted and have a tendency of offering a richer less bitter base to work from. Don't get me wrong, the food here is good. It's just not as good as it could be. They has clearly been a lot of thought and effort to create this wonderful little spot in Mesilla, why not deliver the absolute best and become legendary! If I ever find myself in this area, I'll be certain to stop in again and try their salmon sandwich and their chicken salad sandwich which the cashier did recommend and assured me it's done if the best of their menu. Keep up the great work! I look forward to seeing you in business for many years to come.

Drag brunch!

So happy with the newer owners. Good food but be prepared to wait on the weekends but you can sit outside on the beautiful patio. Such a fun drag brunch for Pride.

My companion had the Belgian waffles (I'm not sure which item, specifically) and it was like a dessert plate with all the whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Also very good. I'm sure there's a reason for this, but every time I've been here for breakfast or brunch there's always a bunch of empty tables and people waiting to be seated, but the staff act like it's a full house. When we arrived there was nobody else waiting and yet we had to wait about 5 minutes for the staff to "set a table" for us. When we were seated there were at least six empty tables already set. When we left about 45 minutes later, a lot of previously occupied tables still had dirty dishes on them (but not all of them), and nobody was cleaning them up. Just like when we got here, there were lots of tables ready to go and yet the lobby was full of people waiting to be seated and even more people waiting outside.

I am vegetarian so I ordered the Bavarian Cream Waffles that are served with either fresh or dried fruits. I asked for dried fruits to accompany my waffles at $14 and regular coffee $3.49. My waffles came with fresh fruit instead of the dried ones that I requested. However I enjoyed them. We had asked for separate checks but when the server presented our bill it was one check so he had to cancel it and gave us separate checks. A turn off was the check presented on a hand held device and the options for gratuity start at 18% not at 15%. Regarding the server, Matias was good but he failed in the details. When he picked up the order in the kitchen he should have checked that my dish was correctly and not me bringing it to his attention. Also no listing to the separate checks requested. I do NOT like plastic table mats on the tables. They are not sanitized correctly. On a separate note at night time, they are called Gatsbys Bistro with an interesting menu.

I ordered the Huevos Rancheros that comes with a side refried beans and a flour tortilla. To drink, I ordered coffee. There were two servers that day. Ours was the younger lady, who was not really engaged with the clientele except with some guy eating at the counter. When she delivered our food, she never offered to refill my friend's iced tea or my coffee. For almost 5 minutes I tried to get her attention without success. I got up to the counter where she continued chatting with the guy eating at the counter. I mentioned that I wanted more coffee, I was told that they had ran out and if I wanted decaf. She shook the thermos and she said that she still had some coffee left. I also told her that on the menu my meal included a tortilla. She never apologized for the lousy service. Very disappointing.

Ummmm delicious! ( I am still sitting at the table)…read more I am from Las Cruces and now live out of town. Since Mesilla Valley Kitchen closed there has been a void in my life. When I visit I keep looking for a new great breakfast spot with a nice relaxed feel, great service, good food and, of course, a killer green chile sauce! Today I tried Weck's for the first time. I am now whole again. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff and seated in the bright and inviting dining room. Our waiter, Cam, was super friendly and helpful. I ordered a breakfast burrito with the green chile sauce on top and my daughter had French toast with eggs and sausage. As I looked around at other patrons around me the food looked and smelled wonderful. Everyone went silent as soon as their food arrived, happily devouring their meals. When our food arrived we had the same experience! I took a little taste and couldn't stop (which is why my photo is of a half eaten burrito! ). Needless to say I will be back and telling everyone in town to give it a try (if they have not already)

Zeke was the server and he was excellent, very polite and on time refilling our cups. The food as always is great. The only observation that I don't like is that the server brought us the check without retrieving the dirty dishes from the table. The same thing happened to me last time I was there with a friend. They do have a busser cleaning tables but only after patrons have departed.
